The house was clean, well maintained, and stocked with most of the necessities. The host was always prompt with a reply and helpful information. Love the view and stairs to the beach-made for getting that much needed exercise in! Loved the close restaurants with delicious foods.There were only 2 beach towels and we could have used several more. Also seemed to be short on bath towels.We truly enjoyed our family vacation at the DayDreamin house.

We had lots of activities planned but ended up spending most of our time enjoying the home, hot tub, and beach! Perfect accommodations for 4 adults and 2 active 7-year-old girls. We especially loved tide pooling at low tide at Harris Beach and Whaleshead Beach and exploring the interesting shoreline. Breakfast at Mattie's is a must, as well as dinner at Zola's and beer/snacks at Chetco Brewing Co. We made several lovely meals at the home; the kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything we needed. We had no issues during our stay, and the host was extremely responsive to questions beforehand. Highly recommended property!

The property overall was perfect for the occasion we traveled for, and we truly enjoyed the home itself. The only disappointing aspect of our stay was the communication and customer service experience we received from the individual managing the property.To be clear, we had no issues with response times or efficiency. However, the manner in which simple questions were handled was unnecessarily harsh and unwelcoming. Prior to making any changes or assumptions, we respectfully reached out to ask whether a few family members could briefly stop by during our first evening, not overnight guests, simply a short visit. Rather than receiving a courteous explanation or friendly reminder regarding house rules, the response we received was extremely rude, confrontational, and frankly intimidating. It was made that our reservation would be canceled or refunded simply for asking a harmless question.We completely understood and respected the property’s policies. The issue was never the rules themselves, but rather the unprofessional and overly aggressive way the situation was handled. Hospitality goes beyond providing a nice property, it also includes treating guests with basic courtesy and respect.I would strongly recommend improving customer service communication and overall guest etiquette for future stays. A simple, polite response would have made all the difference.
