My family, my sister's family and our parents had a little mini reunion here to give our kids a taste of rural New England Summer. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, bunk bed loft, laundry at the barn, and walking paths. We ventured out to Dot's Restaurant, the Country Store, Starfire Bakery, and North Star Bowl for mini golf/candlepin bowling/arcade on a rainy day. We visited The Ledges, Harriman Resevoir, Pikes Falls and even explored a little of Brattleboro.
The only two small negatives/things to be aware of are the kitchen is a bit small for a larger group and the clubhouse (and pools) is only open on the weekends until July 4th which we were disappointed to find out only a week before we arrived. We still had plenty to enjoy but it would have been nice to know that earlier in the process.

Had a lovely stay at the barn! The hot tub was immaculate, the house was clean, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen is a bit lacking, but they do kind of warn you about that. Do be aware that there is a wood burning stove in the living room that provides heat on the colder nights, this becomes important as some of the windows are drafty in the main room, but there are no directions for its use; be savvy or be cold!

Chosen for a family reunion, we were all delighted by this cottage. Very nice cottage, very clean, with many beds (without being on top of each other), access to the club located 5mn on foot (basketball court, volleyball, pool and jacuzzi).

Great Stay in Vermont!
What a relaxing place to stay in Vermont - ample size, plenty of room to sleep, giant hot tub and a fireplace/woodstove that burns until you get tired of filling it. Topped only by the host - Brian - who was a great communicator and very easy to work with, his home is very much worth the visit. We started with 6 going on our trip, grew to 9 and ended up with 11 people for a portion of it, and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and a wonderful time. We'll be back for sure! Note: The hidden gem is the clubhouse - it is actually on top of the hill right near the house - a very short walk instead of what we thought was going to be a long windy drive back down the hill that we just wouldn't bother to make

The barn was a Spacious and nicely decorated home close to downtown Wilmington and 15 minutes away from mount snow. The hot tub, foosball table and club house were awesome amenities that the kids and adults enjoyed! Brian was a very helpful host who was very easy to get in touch with before and during the stay. We are already looking forward to planning our next stay at the barn!!

The clubhouse was an added bonus, providing family fun with an indoor and outdoor pool, game room, weight room and tether ball. The fire pit at the house was perfect for getting a fire going and there was plenty of wood stacked for use. The hot tub was relaxing and newly filled with fresh water when we arrived. I only needed to contact the property owner once while we were there and he was great about getting right back to me. We couldn’t have been more pleased with everything. Thank you for providing a place for us to create lasting memories with our friends and family.

Great stay at Brian's Barn!
Our group of 7 plus 1 dog had a great stay at the Barn. We were skiing at Mount Snow for the weekend and the proximity to the mountain was great. House was as advertised with lots of sleeping arrangements, plenty of towels, and fully stocked pantry. The bathrooms in the house seemed to be newly renovated and were beautiful!
Easy and quick communication with the host. Unfortunately we did have an issue with the hot tub on our last day where it wasn't properly functioning. I let Brian know this and he was working to get the cleaning company over however they could not make it that day. Regardless of this, we had a great stay and highly recommend the Barn. Thanks again Brian!

Great time at the Barn
My husband and I and our children and grandchildren spent 4 wonderful days at the barn. The location is perfect - close to Wilmington center and area attractions. Since there were Covid19 restrictions we could not use the clubhouse and were only able to go to pool once but there are plenty of other things to do in the area. The house had lots of space and the kitchen was well equipped with all we needed for meal preparations. The owner Brian was wonderful to work with. Responded to questions almost immediately. Would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful
Absolutely feel in love with the Barn. Was very clean and well maintained. I felt at home and did not want to leave. It just ended up being me and 2 friends staying for the week because my family could not come so my dog stayed home as well. I am looking forward to renting The Barn again next year. The location was great it was away from everything but yet close enough to get where you wanted to go weather it was hiking swimming or shopping. We lost power because of a nasty storm but Brian the owner reported to the power company and they had it fixed in no time. We had a great time anyway even with out the power it was like camping. The power was out for like 8 hr but we where still able to cook because of the grill and the water stayed hot as well. One of the most relaxing vacation i have ever had.

Beautiful barn and area
We had a great stay here with 3 families. There was plenty of room for all. Brian the home owner was super helpful and friendly and answered all our questions. The surrounding area was beautiful. Our teenagers loved the hot tub. The house was really cute and spacious but there were a few things that were old and falling apart and it could have been cleaner but this would not stop us from going here again. There was so much to like about this place! I would definitely recommend this to anyone and would definitely go back!

We had a great stay at The Barn. Brian was very responsive before and throughout as needed. Location was great, close to Mt. Snow. Kids loved the pool at lodge and hot tub on deck.

Family Vacation 2019
What a great week we had at "The Barn" This years family vacation spot! The house was big enough to accommodate all 14 of us! We enjoyed being able to use the clubhouse for a swim,hiking Pikes Falls and just sitting around the campfire at night,laughing and reconnecting with each other as a family!
Wilmington is certainly a treasure, and "The Barn" its hidden gem!

16th Birthday Party
We stayed here with nine 16 year old boys. Most of the boys stayed in the loft and enjoyed being able to stay in one area together. The home was clean and well stocked with supplies. The hot tub was a big hit with the boys as well as the the Club House which gave them things to do during our stay. Would recommended this house!

Great summer retreat
We had two families here for a week in July and we had an excellent time. The location was perfect for what we wanted. The convenience of the clubhouse and proximity to town and parks allowed us a lot of opportunities. The Barn itself had plenty of room for sleeping and hanging out. The fire pit and hot tub were wonderful amenities. There were a few small issues that could have been improved, but Brian was a great owner who communicated well and addressed our needs professionally. This place is highly recommended!

Great house for ski weekend
The Barn was a great spot for our group to stay while skiing at Mt. Snow. It only took about 20 minutes to get the main base. There was plenty of rooms and beds for our group and the beds we're very comfortable. The hot tub was an awesome addition to the end of a day on the mountain. We also hiked up haystack mountain which was very conveniently located within minutes from the house. We definitely would recommend this house!

Wonderful stay!
We had a great stay at the barn. It was large enough to comfortable sleep 9 adults and 2 dogs. We especially loved the hot tub! The barn is only 10 minutes from downtown Wilmington for restaurants/grocery store. We didn't spend a ton of time on the actual property as we had a lot of hikes and adventures planned, but the outdoor fire pit and wood burning stove inside seemed like they would be great for a cooler evening. The owners were very responsive and check-in/out was super easy. We would definitely stay here again!

This vacation home exceded our expectations
Me and my family really enjoyed our stay. The home had enough space for our big family. We all had a lot of fun on the jaccuzi and the both indoor and out door pools. We would love to come back soon.

Great ski house
Communication with Brian was fast and easy. Our group had 11 people and everyone had plenty of space. We were able to park 4 cars in the driveway in front of the house. The stove in the living room made the house hot even when it was freezing outside; and much easier to tend to than a fireplace. Mt Snow was about a 20-30 minute drive away. Stratton was about an hour drive, but still do-able. Access to the clubhouse and the hot tub really made the deal.

Great house
Booking was easy. Communication, easy and it's a bargain if you get enough people. It's a great house with plenty of room to spread out. There's plenty of parking for multiple arrivals and departures. The hot tub was awesome. The living room/dining room/kitchen are huge so people can be all over and still right near eachother. The house is close to Wilmington and close to mount snow. It was perfect. You definitely need a capable awd or 4wd to make the climb in the community if it snows but it's not that hard. We will be back.

Relaxing Mountain Retreat
Our family and neighborhood friends had a blast staying at The Barn! The inside is cozy and comfortable for a group. Our teens enjoyed the loft area to sleep and hang out. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub conveniently located right on the deck. We skied Mount Snow for two days and enjoyed the Barn's convenient location. We'd love to return!

Excellent stay!
We went there for my birthday trip and couldn't be happier. It was a total of 13 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the hot tub and clubhouse very much. Definitely a place I'd wanna go back to.
