Dieses Haus ist geräumig, sauber und komfortabel. Es verfügt über ein neu renoviertes Bad mit einer ebenerdigen Dusche im Erdgeschoss und eine Whirlpool-Badewanne im zweiten Stock Bad. Mit fünf gemütlichen Schlafzimmern, die bequem Platz für acht Personen bieten, ist es perfekt für Paare / Familien oder einen romantischen Kurzurlaub.
Es verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche und einen komfortablen Essbereich. Die Küche wurde kürzlich mit einer neuen Arbeitsplatte, einer Rückwand und Schranktüren renoviert. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über eine gemütliche Ledercouch, Liebessitz und Stuhl.
Im Obergeschoss hat der Wintergarten einen wunderschönen Panoramablick auf die Bonne Bay sowie die majestätischen Berge Gros Morne Mountain / Long Range. Es ist ein großartiger Ort, um es sich um den Sonnenaufgang zu beobachten oder sich zurücklehnen und genießen Sie die Aussicht zu jeder Zeit des Tages. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Büchern, wählen Sie eines aus und lesen Sie.
Draußen auf dem Wickeldeck steht Ihnen ein Grill aus Edelstahl zur Verfügung. Wir haben einen Innen- / Außenraum an der Rückseite des Hauses auf der Hauptebene mit Rollläden, die heruntergenommen werden können, um die Aussicht zu genießen, oder die bei Regen oder starkem Wind geschlossen bleiben.
Wäschemöglichkeiten befinden sich im Untergeschoss.
Interessanterweise bauen wir ein zweites Haus, das im Mai 2020 eröffnet werden soll! Es wird die gleiche freie Sicht auf den Gros Morne Mountain und die Bonne Bay haben. Halten Sie nach Updates Ausschau!

We loved this cabin and stayed an extra 2 nights. Hated leaving it, it’s lovely.

This was a wonderful spot to use to visit Trout River, Woody Point and the Tablelands.
We liked the twin room on the first floor by the bathroom for those not good with stairs. Although there are still stairs to get into the house. Loved the clothesline on the porch and laundry facilities. Was there during a hot and rainy spell and had a challenge to figure out how to use the upper level ceiling fan. The switch is in the kitchen. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely rustic house with all the amenities, everything exactly as in the listing.
The view here is breathtaking, I would highly recommend it for groups or families.
We especially enjoyed our time in Woody Point while hiking at Grose Morne.

The property was well equipped, beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything needed. The deck looking over the water was a delightful place to meet at the end of the day for a drink and to talk about what we did. A very good experience.

Our stay at this Chalet in Woody Point was a highlight of our trip to NL! The chalet was beautiful and well stocked with everything you need. Exceptional. Outstanding views of the towns and park from the upper viewing room and the lower patio. Super helpful hosts! 100% recommend to everyone.

This place was amazing! The sunroom on the top floor is stunning and the place was very spacious. Despite the many hikes we did, we still felt that we got the best views of Gros Morne from the back porch and the sunroom.
Sharon & Shawn were very responsive and friendly hosts, that went above & beyond to helps with any questions we had about the area & the cottage. Would 100% recommend.

Great house in authentic small town
The few restaurants and shops in town were great and the people very friendly. On the other side of the bay from many Gros Morne outfitters, but easily reached by a 60-minute car drive or 20-minute ferry (the latter requiring coordination with the limited ferry schedule
We set out on this vacation for nature, hiking and an authentic seaside Newfoundland experience and got a 10/10 result! Accommodations were great. Would recommend!

There are not enough good words to say about this property. We have stayed at a number of vacation properties, but most of us like this one, the best of all. The house was spotless, spacious, with a gorgeous deck and windows that allowed for good viewing of the absolutely beautiful bay. We all would love to come back and stay at this place again. The owners were wonderful, the furniture was comfortable, and we had to leave far too soon.

Wonderful time spent here with our adult kids, spouses and grandkids. Lots of space, great provisions and a terrific experience in rural Newfoundland. The scenery couldn't be any better! We saw whales our very first afternoon while sitting on the deck/porch! We also spent many evenings on this same deck watching the sun go down and the stars and having a great time!

Our family loved staying here! The views of the bay from the back deck and second-floor sunroom were breathtaking... might be the best view we've ever had in a vacation rental home. We even saw some whales and porpoises. There was plenty of space and the kitchen and bathrooms were nicely equipped. It was a great location for exploring the south side of Gros Morne and Woody Point is a sweet little town. We would be happy to stay here again if we're in the area!

We stayed at Woody Point on a recommendation from a work colleague and it did not disappoint. As the main reason for the holiday was hiking and relaxing, this was the perfect place. A much more quaint spot than Rocky Harbour or Trout River, which we did drive through. Beautiful drive around Bonne Bay to get to a few of our hiking trails or there is a water taxi if you want to see Norris Point. Everything we needed was in this property. Very comfortable home and the pictures did not do the house justice. Even through only the two of us, there are ample amount of dishes, cutlery, etc., for a full house of guests. Thanks for a great week!

L’endroit était magnifique, la vue spectaculaire! La maison est impeccable et très bien équipée ! Nous avons eu par contre énormément de difficulté avec le voisinage! Party chaque soir, bruits de voitures et de moteur jusqu’à 2 3h du matin! Meme chicane de couple! Shawn nous a dit Que c’était exceptionnel mais après discussion avec un couple qui habite pas loin il semblerait que ce soit toujours ainsi depuis environ 1 an :( un

My friends and I stayed at Shawn and Sharon's place for the Writers at Woody Point festival and it exceeded every expectation we had. The location was perfect, the house was very well equipped with everything you can think of and was also very clean. The only feedback I would give is the downstairs shower was a bit slow to drain but it did not impact our stay at all.
And now for the VIEW, it's honestly a million dollar view sitting on that porch. We'd start each day with coffee and end each day with a glass of wine...we could not not get enough of staring at Gros Morne Mountain, just stunning!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return for next year's festival!!

The pictures and writeup of the property do not do it justice. It's much better then we expected. The view was amazing and the gathering/living rooms were perfect!
Our host went above and beyond by helping us find accommodations for an extra day elsewhere after our flight was cancelled. This was extremely helpful to my family who consisted of 3 children.

Come Home 2022
The property was perfect for our family. The owners were quick to respond to any questions. We appreciated the thoughtfulness in having a high chair and pack N play for my 1 year old great nephew. The views were absolutely breathtaking. We are already planning our next visit to Boone Bay. We also rented the property two doors down from the same owners and it is equally as stunning and some family members would argue it is better, but other family liked this house better. The covered deck and book nook with surrounding windows were well used. We will be making reservations with Sharon and Shawn again!

A vacation of dream
Shawn’s and Sharon’s cottage we rented in Gros Mourne at Woody Point was more than we’ve seen in our dreams. The view in the morning accompanying our coffee has no words to explain. Everything in the house (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room together with the reading room and and all around porch) is asking you to come back. It was an amazing vacation.

This house is gorgeous. The photos do not do it justice. Such a lovely place to return to after enjoying the hikes and friendliness of the residents in Gros Gros Morne. I highly recommend. You won't regret it for the views alone.

What a wonderful time we had at this property! Very comfortable house, with all the comforts we needed. The surroundings were so peaceful, and the view was simply stunning.
Woody Point is a charming little town, and the location was a good spot to explore all the area has to offer.
