The house is big and nice. With a lot of great cookware. We did Thanksgiving dinner there no problem! And the location is wonderful - the beach right on Belfast Ln is one of the nicer beaches in Pierpont

Great location, plenty of space -steps to the beach was all wonderful. Cute enough upon entering, but the place overall was just a bit underwhelming. A bit older wit the windows, showers, patio. No cute touches or extras from the owner. No coffee supplies (creamers, K-cups, etc). And a lot of the dishwater & utensils were not clean. Also disappointing was being so close to the beach & no view. I would still recommend because of location to beach, just not one of our favorites.

This house was absolutely perfect for my family of 6!!! No one wanted to leave!!!! I live in Newbury Park, but my family loves to spend a week in pierpont every summer, and this place was our absolute fave! To start- the photos DO NOT do this place justice! The house is INCREDIBLY spacious! I really didn’t expect it to be so roomy. Also - it’s literally steps to the sand- my boys love to surf so it was super convenient for them. The back yard and upper back porch are really awesome, too. We had friends over during the weekend and it was just so perfect for entertaining and grilling. They had everything you could possibly need and it was very clean and so cozy and comfortable. I also love that it’s so close to the little yogurt place and restaurants- just down the street—that was important to us. This location is PRIME- and I would love to book it again! Also- thank you to the wonderful personnel at REMAX! You have been so very accommodating!! I appreciate you!

My wife, me and 4 adult children / spouses spent 3 days here. The house is very nice and only 4 houses from the beautiful beach. We walked to Dinner at Sicial Tap and Beach House on the Piet. Highly recommend for 4-6 people
Only concern is one bedroom / living room on lower level was very musty we opened all the windows but first night my daughter had a tough night sleep. If this could be improved it would be great

This year with the pandemic was different [for everyone] but this home is very comfortable to be "forced to stay at home in". Good size, wonderful kitchen and this year I cooked almost every night for the entire time, great location to the beach [can hear the waves, a bit difficult to see the ocean], great location to restaurants, the boardwalk, downtown etc. King bed is fabulous [other beds we are told are so-so]. Furniture comfortable, especially for the extended stay that we did.

While the location of this house is great (close to beach, close to bike bath), for the price you pay to stay here, it feels like you are staying at a cheap motel. First, the television options are very limited. There is a cable box for watching whatever might be on, and a Netflix account but you can't access anything but children's shows (you need a PIN which isn't included). There was a tv downstairs that didn't work. The entire AV system had multiple remotes and handwritten instructions for use that didn't even explain how to use things, and the sound quality of the main living room was poor. The silverware and dishes were dirty (gross anytime, but even worse in a pandemic). The beds are hard as a rock. There were Ants, yes Ants, everywhere. There were multiple light bulbs burned out. The master bedroom upstairs doesn't have any heat (very cold). The whole place feels like it was cobbled together from a thrift store. There are plenty other rentals in the neighborhood that offer the same ideal location, at a much lower price, and in better shape. This owner and property manager should invest some money & energy into improving this house. All of these issues were reported to property management, so this review should be no surprise.

Our 2nd stay at this expansive home just 3 homes to the beach. Well maintained beach house that isn’t stuffy or pretentious. Mother in law suite is perfect for families and the stairs above divide the living space. Nice open feeling and 2 car garage gives you room for toys or cars. Outdoor washer and dryer and lots of outside spaces to relax in the well treed backyard. We loved th beach access and the fact they have allowed pets is the main reason we have continued to return at a premium - even though we had the benefit of a house full of people we liked the additional space and plenty of options for relaxing, working or just hanging out. A few maintenance issues that were resolved within a reasonable
time. The owners did a nice job of remodeling and making sure they do what they can to keep the home fresh.

We are long term [3 months] renters in California and have fallen in love with Ventura. This property is wonderful, very comfortable and well appointed, great location to the beach, park, marina and downtown. The management company is terrific to work with. The only things I would suggest from a long term rental standpoint is to change the double bed in the downstairs bedroom to a queen size bed, and change the couch in the downstairs familyroom to a sleeper couch.

The kitchen was well equipped, although not all of the items were in the logical places, ie) microwave in cupboard, bowls on trinket shelf, laundry on outside deck. Home was very comfortable and well equipped. It's open 2 story floor plan and furnishings very comfortable for our family, good quality bed's, bedding, toiletries, linens, and kitchen accessories. However, the cleaning fees are excessive considering you must do all dishes, strip beds, take out trash and start laundry or jeopardize the large deposit. I would have done a portion of those anyway.
