We love four stay here! Close to everything. The place and bed were super comfortable. It has everything you need. Couldn’t ask for a better place. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed at this property at the start and end of our California vacation. The property was suitable for 2 adults and was well located for Santa Monica and the beach. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at Devon’s one bedroom, one bath spot for 10 days and it was just right for us. Devon has packed everything one could want into this little get away which is super close to Main Street. The bed was comfy, the closet had ample hangers, the AC unit was lovely, the stacked washer/dryer unit in the bathroom came in handy, the tiny kitchen area had everything even a two burner cooktop, dishes, pans, silverware, glasses, cups, coffee pot, etc. This is a small but mighty place to stay and we would love to stay here again. Devon is a delight to work with, very helpful and kind.

This very well located and equipped apartment made for a very enjoyable 2 day/night stay that made it easy to explore Santa Monica and Venice by foot. It was also a short drive to other greater LA attractions. Devon was a great communicator prior to and during our visit. Thanks!

Very nice place that is close to the beach and restaurants but is peaceful and quiet.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay in Devon’s well equipped and efficient apartment. Located in a pretty Garden District a few blocks inland, we walked to Main Street shops and restaurants. A short car ride to the Pier, Venice Beach and other Santa Monica shopping districts and attractions. Reasonably priced, clean and quiet. Highly recommended.

If I'm being critical, the photos of the property don't do it justice and the location is understated. This was perfect! A lovely bolthole for your short stay and the location in Santa Monica is absolutely perfect. Finally found the part of LA that really is worth coming back to. ❤️

Very convenient for a short stay in Santa Monica and Venice.

The unit was very complete. Had everything I looked for for my privacy, and to prep and store my own food. Felt like I was at home.

We loved this rental. Amazing location, quick walk to the beach and nearby restaurants both in Venice Beach and Santa Monica. The rental is super clean, and the bed was very comfy. I was a little worried about it not having AC (we’re from Texas, where that’s not feasible), but it was totally fine. Ceiling fans and cool night temps kept it very comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again next time we’re in Los Angeles.

Nice neighborhood and walking distance to shops and restaurants

Easy to find in a great location Quiet neighbourhood. Clean flat with fabulous shower and full laundry facilities. All you need. ( lots of leaflets and info however a paper map would’ve been helpful. We walked straight into Venice Beach which was initially a shock to the system 😂. Wondered where the hell we’d come!! Soon got used to it though. Everything easy to get to on foot. Thank you for your hospitality

I stayed three nights, it is close enough to walk to Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier. Stopped at a great little breakfast place on the way to Venice called Venice Flake, great food and coffee. The cottage is comfortable and has all you need. Devin is responsive and helpful. It was cuter than the pictures.

I was so pleased with this location. So quiet and peaceful in the middle of the city. Easy access to everything LA. Parking was plentiful. The bed was comfortable and the place was really well stocked for flying travelers, which I appreciated very much!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. Place was clean and conveniently located. We had good communication with the host.

Devon’s place was lovely, accurately described in thee listing. The location was perfect, very walkable to the beach, restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed the beautiful landscaping too! Perfect place for two.

This was our first time staying in VRBO basement apt attached to the homeowners. It was wonderful! Easy access, did not have to bother the owner or his family. The apt was clean, had everything we needed and did not hear homeowners above us nor the couple renting the apt next door to our unit. The street parking was easy and did not have any issues - we walked everywhere - the Santa Monica Beach, Venice Beach and Main street for meals and drinks. It was an experience to stay in an old historic neighborhood - will stay again for sure!

Lovely one bedroom with very comfortable bed, charming living room/kitchen space, and perfect location close to the beach and many restaurants. Parking pass makes the stay even easier. Devon is an excellent host. Highly recommend her property!

My daughter and I travelled to Santa Monica from the East Coast and had a great time in the area! This place was the perfect size for the 2 of us & Devon was very helpful with any questions we had. At first we were concerned about the lack of AC but we had a nice cross breeze after opening the windows. Looking forward to returning to Santa Monica & staying in another one of her properties!

The house was just a few blocks from the main drag full of restaurants and shops and a 10 minute walk from Santa Monica Beach. Pretty much don't need a car at all.

Very clean, organized and has everything one needs for a getaway near the beach. We enjoyed our stay and will come back again. Great location!

This place was perfect for my daughter and myself. We had a little get-away close to the beach. Devon was a terrific host. I texted her with a question and she called me back within a few minutes. (she is a teacher though so you might have a short wait if she is in school.) The size is small but still has a separate bedroom, which was important as we had slightly differing sleeping schedules. We didn't use the stove, microwave, or coffee pot. There is a nice sized TV that we attached our laptop to with HDMI to watch Netflix in the evening. The only minus was flat pillows. They could stand to be replaced. As advertised, it was very close to the beach. Maybe a five minute walk. AND very close to public transportation. Check out the Big Blue Bus and the Metro. We went everywhere using those two. All over Santa Monica and LA. We were not into hanging out in restaurants or clubs but there were several within walking distance also. We grabbed dinner and walked back to the apartment. Thankfully there is a small fridge to store leftovers. For Texas and other southern states travelers....There is NO air-conditioning. In the description it didn't mention that there was AC but it didn't occur to me to check (because, Texas, you know..). HOWEVER once we opened the windows it was very pleasant. So no big deal. A fan would have been nice in the bedroom as we were reluctant to sleep with the window open. Over all a WONDERFUL stay. HIGHLY recommend.

The property was perfectly sized for two people looking to get away to the beach for a few days. Short 5 minute walk to the beach and multiple great restaurants and stores. What a great spot and the Host was incredible. Crystal clear instructions with spot on description of the property and its whereabouts. The gardens on the property are also very well kept!
