Homy Residence

The suite that we had was much more spacious than a hotel room, some of the decor and units in the kitchen and shower room were a bit dated but everything was perfectly functional. The bed was big and really comfortable, the shower was really good, the single ring hob in the kitchen was very good and it heated very quickly, we didn't use the combination microwave oven much. Homy were happy for us to invite visitors for lunch that we cooked for and so it was very social, something you can't do with a hotel room. We plan to go back in a few months and will ask if we can have the same room that we had before.

The range of utensils and cookware was a bit limited, only two of everything like plates, bowls, knives, forks and spoons, one pot and one frying pan where the base was warped and so it didn't sit flat on the hob, there was no can opener. I bought a large wok and a can opener as well as a sharp knife to make cooking a bit easier, these are pretty cheap in some of the array of shops just down the road where the number selling cookware etc is vast and prices are better than I'm used to at home. The sofa isn't that comfortable and the table is a little on the high side for when sitting on the sofa for eating, A couple of folding chairs would have made it perfect especially when we had guests for lunch.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Above and beyond.

Lage war OK

Ich war mit meiner 14-jährigen Tochter und meinem 18-jährigen Sohn zusammen. Wir dachten, wir bekommen ein Suite mit separaten Zimmern, aber im Prinzip war das ein großes Zimmer mit einer Unterteilung. Also es gab keine gewisse Privatsphäre und auch die Küche war nur notdürftig ausgestattet und die Sauberkeit war auch nicht so. Hongkong ist natürlich teuer, aber ich fand das eher teuer insgesamt im Verhältnis zu dem, was wir an Leistung hatten. Wir waren natürlich auch geprägt von den Hotels, die wir vorher in China gesehen haben und die waren einfach vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis einfach besser als das, was wir hier in Hongkong gesehen haben. Ich würde nur noch bedingt hierher kommen
