Tam Coc Holiday Hotel & Spa This hotel is very close to the bus station or where our Hanoi limousine dropped us. We e-hailed a taxi because we had luggage but if we’d known to contact the hotel beforehand, they provide a golf cart transfer service. When walking into the reception, the hotel felt like a boutique hotel in central Paris. There were obvious links to Vietnam but it had a very different feel to many other places we’d stayed at. Reception offered us drinks and lovely dried coconut snacks while we sorted the paperwork. We were then showed to a lovely, clean, modern room which was extremely comfortable for our 4 x nights in Ninh Binh. The hotel has a lovely pool and Koi pond and arranged a scooter hire for us in no time at all (there was a hire place almost next-door but it was so easy and quick asking at reception). The hotel is very close to all the restaurants, bars and the waterfront area where you can hire the rowed boats that take you to some of the caves, temples and sights in the area. We must also mention the breakfast – we were lucky to have breakfast included as part of our stay and Nuan in the restaurant made sure we wanted for nothing. He was so attentive, helpful and forward thinking, we never had to ask for anything twice and he made each morning a real pleasure. The chefs were also great, friendly and the food and options superseded any of our expectations. We had such a great time in Ninh Binh, it will be on our wish list for a return visit. If we are able to, we will certainly hope to book a longer stay with this hotel.

Great facilities, the rooms and common areas were very clean. It was a very modern building and the air conditioning was very good. We also enjoyed the swimming pool. The breakfast food was also very good and we enjoyed the views during breakfast. The staff were extremely kind and helpful during our stay. We were on our honeymoon and booked the day before we arrived. I didn't mention anything specific about the honeymoon in the booking. The staff overheard a conversation we had with another guest in the lobby during check in and went out of their way to set up a special honeymoon decoration for us.

It would be nice to have a coffee barista or staff member to make coffees during breakfast.

The service was exceptional and polite they made you feel incredibly welcome. Very good location and breakfast, love the pool, the room was very spacious the view was gorgeous they have every amenitie you will need from the hotel and was absolutely worth the price i would very much like to come back to this hotel

Everything! The Hotel, the breakfast, the location, and most of all the staff! As a business owner I highly recommend it.

If anything there was a yapping little dog that is one of the owners.
