Dieser 1965 von Barry Berkus entworfene architektonische Schatz der Rancho Mirage Midcentury Modern ist der Inbegriff des Lebens in Kalifornien in den 60er Jahren. Es wurde frisch restauriert und mit allen modernen Annehmlichkeiten und Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet und liegt herrlich am Fuße der Berge im angesehenen Rancho Mirage. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Rancho Mirage gem. The property is well maintained, nicely equipped with everything you could wish for and owner was very responsive when we needed to communicate with her. Complex is charming, quiet, clean & centrally located. We loved walking our dog every morning through the very safe mid-century neighborhood behind this property.

Excellent location
We loved the location. The condo s a good representation of mid century and life in the 50's 60's. We had everything one would need including lots of snacks, drinks & food items. Comfy bed. Mia takes good care of her guests. Lovely pool. Early morning walks in a great neighborhood. Walking distance to shops & restaurants at The River. Bonus we found a hummingbird nest in a bush on the property. Got to watch "baby hummer" grow and fledge the nest. A great 2 month stay. Had we not bought a condo while there we would come back! Thanks Mia!

We THIROUGHLY enjoyed our stay at Mia’s fun property! We’ve been coming to the area for 15 years but this was our first time staying in Rancho Mirage and it’s now our favourite. This property was perfectly located for shopping, restaurants, movie and theatre, park, playground, walking, biking and hiking. While centrally located Chalet Palms felt secluded and private. The property met all our needs and was fully stocked—even with a couple of easy meals, snacks and a variety of beverages to start off our stay with ease. As well as plenty of nice linens, lovely soaps and candles. Mia even provided thoughtful touches such as pillow spray to enhance s great nights sleep in a very comfy king size bed. Mia was delightful and communicated efficiently and promptly. We’re already looking forward to next year’s visit

Great location, convenient for walking, beautiful pool area
The property and owner was as advertised in photos and reviews, though I would disagree with the reviewer who said that the furniture was uncomfortable. The condo has a cheery vibe and there's plenty of room for clothing storage. The owner provided me with lots of goodies when I arrived and she was an excellent communicator. I loved taking walks in the area and it was convenient for driving also. The coffee shop nearby is excellent and there were some great restaurants nearby also. I walked to Koffi daily and went to eat at Norma's Italian Kitchen a couple of times. Be sure to check out the Blixten Mountain Park up the hill near the elementary school.

Perfect
Felt like we were coming home! Mia was a MOST amazing hostess. From slippers at the front door, breakfast makings, drinks in the wine fridge....wow.
The location is perfect for walking to the River. Quick easy drive to downtown PS.
It was a nice quiet complex. The heated pool was great and kept very clean.
We had to cut our vacation in half due to the sad state of the world right now. Mia contacted us to let us know we have a generous credit with her!!!

Once again, we so enjoyed our stay in Mia's place. The location is perfect for us, Mia has everything there that we need in a very nice, clean apartment where there is also a good pool and hot tub in a pretty garden. Mia herself, a lovely lady who is so easy to work with. It has been such a pleasure for us to visit her place once again.

quiet, peaceful
Peaceful enclave. Clean, quiet, secure. I loved the piano. Within walking distance to rancho mirage library, the River, bump & grind hiking trail. We really appreciated Mia stocking the pantry with food and drinks as we arrived on New Year's Eve. Thank you!

It is such a nice place. We stayed there for nearly two months while looking to purchase a property in this area. We enjoyed the very warm welcome and relaxing atmosphere... The pool is fabulous and we had it to ourselves most of the time. A very nice home when away from home....

Perfect location, close to all amenities, nice and quiet at night
Mia was an incredibly gracious host. We stayed here for an extended stay and didn’t want to leave! Short walk to great restaurants, movie theater, and many other amenities. We’ve stayed in many rentals but Mia was the best host of all, always ready to answer questions and provide necessary advice/fixes. You can’t pick a better host/location than this getaway!!

Exactly what we were looking for
We were so happy here, a perfect sized unit for our 2 month visit, exactly in the location we prefer. A clean, comfortable place with all that we needed.

This was our first extended "snowbird" experience. We were very pleased. The property was exactly as described. Mia responded to any questions/communications in a timely, clear manner. Great property;fabulous location

good value and good location
We picked the unit based mostly on price. We felt that the value was great and the the location was also above average. You are walking distance to lots of restaurants and very close to the "grind" hiking access. The unit was clean and the king bed very comfortable.

A hidden treasure in Rancho Mirage
If you are looking for a party place with loads of guests and noise this is not the place. This is a very quiet, private beautiful home away from home. It was located a couple of blocks from Highway 111 with quick access to whatever you would want. Mia was always available if one had any issues or questions. The home is beautiful. We were there for a month. Went swimming in the pool about 20 times. Only had one other couple twice and the rest visits the pool and hot tub we all ours. We would recommend this rental to anyone and hope to come back another year.
