Cecils Hütte ist ein charmantes Haus mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 1 Bad, das Platz für bis zu 5 Personen bietet. Es liegt an der weniger besiedelten Südseite des Merced River, wo Sie die friedliche Schönheit und Abgeschiedenheit genießen können. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und verfügt über einen Geschirrspüler. Eine Waschmaschine und ein Trockner sorgen dafür, dass Sie sich im Urlaub wie zu Hause fühlen! Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen Holzofen (in der Saison Brennholz), Sat-TV und WLAN. Diese Kabine verfügt über zwei Decks. Das Oberdeck bietet einen unglaublichen freien Blick auf die Wälder von Yosemite und das Unterdeck ist perfekt für diejenigen wärmeren Sommertage, an denen Sie den Schatten bevorzugen, um sich auszuruhen, zu lesen oder den Kindern beim Spielen im Freien zuzusehen. Dieses Haus befindet sich nur 1,6 km hinter der historischen Big Trees Lodge, dem Geschichtszentrum, dem Golfplatz und dem Markt und weniger als 30 Minuten vom Ski- und Snowboardgebiet Yosemite entfernt! Es ist eine wunderbare Ausgangsbasis, wenn Sie Yosemite erkunden und spielen.

Our family stayed a week at Cecil’s cabin. It is right inside the national park so no need to go through the entrance each day. It’s somewhat deep in the woods, a few min drive off the main road, so recommend arriving in daylight. No WiFi but we had a signal with Verizon, and there was a great little radio inside for old music. It was spacious and comfortable, with one bedroom upstairs and an huge basement type room with multiple beds and a second half bathroom downstairs. Each had its own heat. Cleanliness was above average which I really appreciated. It was well stocked for cooking and essentials, and we didn’t need to request or purchase any extra items. Heating worked great, and the wood stove was so cozy. There was plenty of firewood available. Beds were comfortable. There is a small creek with a bridge a short walk down the hill from your front door. We could hear the creek water from the porch, and my daughter loved playing there each morning. We drove into Yosemite 4 of 6 days, which I think took just under 1 hour of winding mountain driving, and there is also a beautiful swinging bridge area to explore and picnic at right in Wawona, so that’s nice for days you don’t want to drive. There is a general store a few min drive from the cabin as well, expensive like most stores in the area. Just remember to drive to pick up your key at the office building about 10 min away (in an envelope if you arrive after hours) b4 driving to the cabin, and take it back at checkout time.

Very nice secluded cabin. Great family get together location. Would recomend, main office a little hard to find had to ask at store.

Check in was delayed due to cabin not ready . We had to wait for over one hour for the cabin to be cleaned before we could check in. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cabin was nice with plenty of room. The cabin is in desperate need of a good deep cleaning, it was dirty. The furniture needs updating.The TV did not work. The maintenance people fixed the tv promptly after our call. This cabin has a lot of potential. It has been neglected for years. It could be a great cabin if it was fixed up. Beautiful location and very peaceful. We would not stay there again. I could not recommend anyone to stay there until they clean it up and fix it up. Thanks!
