We couldn’t have asked for more of a picture perfect week for both weather and the cottage we stayed at this past week!
Charlevoix is a quaint town with lots to offer. We enjoyed hanging out in the backyard of the cottage, going for walks into town, enjoying the beaches of Lake Michigan and Mackinaw Island.
Sally is a very gracious host and present to your needs!

you can do anything and everything from this property on round lake and the views are exceptional! walk/bike to downtown for coffee, to depot beach or to lake michigan all in one day and put your paddle boards into round lake for a scenic easy paddle. and if you aren’t in the mood to do anything the view from the bluff is very satisfying. house linens were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all meals at the house. there are bikes for use and beach chairs/towels; which is one less thing to pack along. owners were very responsive to any of our needs/questions and made the check in/out process very simple. you won’t regret a vacation to this beautiful property.

Relaxing and living the simple life again.
This property is walking distance to the beach……walking distance to the town and restaurants. The yard and view are enjoyable every day. Many activities nearby for those that like short road trips.

Our Host Sally was wonderful. The house is incredible and only a short walk to downtown Charlevoix. From the elevated backyard you you have the most beautiful view of round lake, the Marina and downtown. We have no reservation recommending this property to anyone.

What a magical place this is!! The charming cottage, the landscaping, and of course the view. Details are tended to, it’s spotlessly clean, and the perfectly pressed bed linens are a pleasure. New Family Tradition
This is a beautiful quaint house perfectly located overlooking the harbor and within walking distance to downtown Charlevoix. The homeowner thought of everything, all the amenities necessary and included. Great communication with the homeowner and also very accommodating. Would stay here again!

Blissful vacation in Charlevoix the beautiful
This place has it all: location, beauty, hospitality, privacy, cleanliness, coziness, and cuteness! The setting is very picturesque, perched atop round lake with a beautiful backyard view of the harbor, as well as the downtown bridge. Yet step out the front door and you are in a friendly and well manicured neighborhood. On top of that, it is also within close walking distance to the drawbridge and downtown area. Both inside and outside the house is very clean and decorated as the quintessential cottage. This was the perfect setting for our family to truly unwind and enjoy togetherness. It felt a bit like a step back in time, in the best way (without giving up wifi :-)). We especially appreciated the small details, like cozy comforters and luscious bath towels. Oh and the deck off the second floor master bedroom is the perfect spot to relax! It was also unbelievable how there were no pesky bugs of any kind around, just nice fresh air and beautiful landscaping and flowers (gotta see Sally’s flowerbed next door)! As if that was not enough, Bob and Sally went above and beyond to offer unmatched hospitality, treating us like extended family rather than strangers! Spending time with them was a definite highlight of our visit! We are so honored to have been their guests! We have never had a vrbo/airbnb experience anywhere close to this. Can’t wait to come back!

Gem on Round Lake
Wonderful, Wonderful !! Harbor View lived up to its description to a tee; very clean and a location that can't be beat. Our Inn keeper Sally and daughter Kate where so gracious and inviting that our group hands down is ready to book again. The only problem is the last week in June is already booked for next year ;( Sally, our family shared a special time together; can't thank you enough for being part of it,

Amazing! Stuff of dreams!
This was one of the best experiences we have ever had! The house is just lovely and charming! Actually better than the pictures. The neighborhood was beautiful- it felt like a place you might have imagined living as a child. Sally, the owner, is so caring, attentive, and delightful. We were in need of a respite and this place was a gift from God. I could not say enough good things about the area, home, and owners! We truly hope to stay again!

Five Stars Without A Doubt
This is the fourth time our family has stayed at Harbor View, and as usual, our host , Sally, could not have been more accommodating. Her attention to detail is nothing short of amazing and every request is responded to with attendedness and care. As for Harbor View itself, the view overlooking Round Lake is like a photo out of National Geographic, and Harbor View House is the epitome of a classic lake cottage, warm and inviting, truly a northern Michigan adventure vacation.

We have stayed in this house three times. We like to think of this as our home away from home. Each year the owners make this stay even more perfect than the year before. Awesome location sitting in the backyard overlooking the town, sail boats and draw bridge. Everything in walking distance. Can’t wait to go back.

We can't say enough wonderful things about the Winter's lovely home in Charlevoix! Our family was there for my daughter's and her fiance's engagement party and bridal shower.
The house is darling, the view spectacular, and all the personal touches the owners added made this one of the best getaways our family has ever had.

Summer Cottage? This Is It
Look no further, just book it! HABOR VIEW is straight out of Cape Cod envisioned to be the laid back summer cottage we all remember as kids. This is a true cottage cottage with everything that you'll need for a magical getaway. Situated on a high bluff over looking the harbor, HV is relaxing as it is beautiful:
Wicker furniture, cozy fireplace, comfortable beds, (Even bikes) room for the whole family and situated on a beautiful tree lined street in the heart of Charlevoix, however, the thing that will bring you back time and time again are the priceless patio views of Round Lake Harbor. ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWING. The owners, Sally and Bob, are the best people you will ever meet and have quickly have become our friends from the north. Best of the best.

Like being at home the minute we walked in the door.
My entire family, from 4-year-old up, loved this property and the people who own it. If we didn't have anything planned, we immediately gravitated to the incredible yard with the best view in town. The owners were incredibly accommodating and had second guessed all our needs perfectly. Can't wait to get back.

Absolutely Wonderful!
We had the most amazing time in Charlevoix! The home is everything you could imagine and more. We took our 3 small children for a long weekend. There are parks at every beach and the home is walking distance to town. The home was fully baby proofed, complete with high chairs & a crib! Our kids loved the big swing in the backyard that overlooks gorgeous Round Lake. The owners could not be lovelier people!!! Highly recommended.
