We came into the cabin and right away the smoke detector was beeping We called the office and they sent someone out right away. They were so nice. Definitely will be back soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A nice place to stay. A few notes for improvement: as it had snowed prior to our visit, there were some roads that were impassible without 4WD/AWD. We had to help some folks who were stuck (front wheel drive VAN no enough traction). It would be prudent to not just recommend a route for traffic purposes, but specify mandatory vehicle requirements and best route for snow. The unit as well is best heated by only using the lower heating unit; close the mid floor vents and turn off the upstairs heat. Everything goes up from the lower floor. Otherwise, the bottom floor is freezing and the top is baking.

Host was excellent
