Dieses Cottage bietet für jeden etwas. Ein glitzernder Pool (mit freiem Pool Wärme im Frühjahr und Herbst), ein Whirlpool, der das ganze Jahr geöffnet ist und viel Decking in der Nähe des Pools. Es gibt zwei Pavillons auf dem Grundstück. Einer beherbergt den Whirlpool, so dass er regen oder scheinen kann und der andere befindet sich im Poolbereich für zusätzlichen Schatten (und einen Snack zu genießen)! Es gibt Unmengen an Decks und Sonnendecks, um alles zu genießen, was die Outer Banks bieten. Der Poolbereich ist eingezäunt und somit sehr privat. Das Roundabout Resort verfügt über zwei voll ausgestattete Küchen mit 2 Herden / Öfen, 2 Mikrowellen, einer Keurig-Kaffeemaschine und einer Standard-Kaffeemaschine und ist perfekt für einen Zweifamilienurlaub geeignet!
Für diejenigen, die Volleyball spielen und ihr vierbeiniges Familienmitglied gehen möchten, ist der Hof sehr geräumig (beide Grundstücke auf beiden Seiten des Grundstücks sind Eigentum des Eigentümers und können genutzt werden). Der Zugang zum Strand ist nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Cottage entfernt und für diejenigen, die nicht laufen möchten, gibt es Parkplätze am Zugang zum Strand. Die Kinder werden es lieben, Boogie-Boards für den Strand zu Hause zu haben!

Everything worked out ok but the overall state of the place could be improved upon. The general cleanliness was ok, there were some stains on pillows etc and a lot of sand in the place but that's not unexpected. All together it worked out fine. Deck and pool area both need updated woodwork. Pool lights are on the fritz. Amenities in the kitchen, bathrooms, et were fine and there were no bugs inside.

It was not very good. The grass was never mowed like we called about. Went to use oven down stairs it still had oven cleaner in it. Pool lights did not work. Jet in the jacuzzi tub was dirty with black stuff. Curtains rod hanging out of the wall. Upstairs out side decking boards felt like we was going to fall threw them. The outside stairs to go up are loose.get rid of pool table and put couch downstairs.not enough room to play pool.

Requested grass to be cut on Monday so we could use the playground and volleyball net. Light in dining room had problems. I called again on Wed. to find out what was going on.They showed up Fri afternoon, and were told that the owners had to make arrangements for the grass to be cut. We were leaving the following morning. Mold and mildew in bathrooms.Previous experience here was wonderful in 2008. This time, it wasn't worth it. We couldn't fully use what we paid for. I could go on, but why bother.

The house has a great setup. There are 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen on each floor. The pool is a good size, but needs to be resurfaced. Deck boards and stairs have loose spots and all the boards should be replaced.
Gas grill was not usable due to burners rusted out. There are 2 charcoal grills on the property and only 1 was usable due to the grates being rusted. These items were reported to the property management company (Beach Realty) through the app that was recommended. There was no response or repair.
The location was great for us. Public Beach access is only a couple of blocks away and it is an easy walk. There are no hotels or public parking around, so the beach in this area was never crowded. The house is walking distance to Jimmy's Seafood, Shipwrecks, and Bad Bean Baja Grill. Be careful crossing the road to Shipwrecks and Bad Bean. I never had a problem, I just needed to be patient.
Booking process was deceptive. After filling out the VRBO application and paying deposits, accidental damage insurance, linen fee, and travel insurance, Beach Realty sent a separate link and application. This application mirrored VRBO and asked about travel insurance. Beach Realty did not notify that their travel insurance was separate from VRBO, so I bought 2 policies. Beach Realty advised that VRBO does not relay travel insurance information to them. Even if this is true, they should have a notice on their application that this is separate from VRBO

We had a nice time in OBX despite how bad the house was. A lot of my complaints are the same as other people that have stayed there. 1. trash in the yard 2. weeds and piles of leaves in and around the pool area 3.Upper deck unsafe-boards pop up when walked on and nails sticking up 4.Pool had patches of concrete missing 5. Tubs in house needed work and grout had mold 6. grass was knee high 7. HOUSE WAS DIRTY Not sure who cleaning company is but they do a terrible job. We've stayed in other houses and I've never given a bad review. I will not be staying here again.

The location is perfect. It is very close to the beach. The place is huge and fits all 14 of us. We were entertained. The pool table is great when it is raining. There is a tv in every room. . We love that the kitchen gadgets are complete.. However, bathrooms are dirty.

the owners of the house clearly don't believe in the motto less is more. Everyone said the exact same thing about the house. There is "stuff" everywhere. Not one bit of bit of wall space uncovered. There's a hutch upstairs that sticks out into the walkway to the bedrooms that turns it into a single lane road. I've read another review about the furniture being too big for the house, it is. And old, and worn out. The wife is 110lbs and even she sunk into it-not in a good way. Ooh! The beds. The listing on BeachRealty says queens, BIG FAT LIE. There are five doubles, not a queen size is sight. While likely the newest update to the house I hope that you and your partner are Lilliputians. You need too be if you want any space. In summary the house is convenient to where it's located, the pool is nice but it's like being at your grandmothers house with sooo much stuff everywhere.

Renting this cottage was easy, and it was available for check in on time. I do not think it is well maintained. The grass was high around the cottage with old grass clippings scattered throughout. Weeds have grown through the concrete around the pool. The front porch light along with multiple indoor lights were out upon arrival so I called and someone came out and ONLY changed the front porch light bulb. They also had to get us a new shower curtain because it was covered in mold, and they had to spray and knock down the 4 wasp nests that were covered with eggs. The upstairs deck is missing multiple wooden slats so we were not able to let our toddler out there. Overall the cottage did not look like it was cleaned very well. I did use the vacuum, which obviously had not been emptied in years

love the the shape of the house and the way the house was laid out the way it was taken care of i think maid service needs to be replaced as well as maintenance crew and lawn care grass had not been cut in forever and everyone around us had carpet in one room had to be shampooed 2 times in 1 day so we could sleep in it smelled so bad of pet urine pool furniture is broken and was all trowed in a corner grill was nasty inspection doesn't do their job broken umbrellas in the back yard with grass growned over them

The house is alot smaller than the pictures. It was very tight for all of us to have room. The house was very dirty, we cleaned it when we got there because we had a crawler and a toddler. Dog hair all over floors, dog food in closets, empty water bottles and a condom wrapper found. The house needs alot of work. The door on the outside shower fell off and we had a leak from the upstairs bath to the downstairs bath. We reported it on our first day but no-one came to fix it.

The house was great. The pool made the house, it made the days that were too hot to go to the beach bearable. The only draw back is the street the house is on does not go directly to the beach, you have to walk an extra block to get there, not a big deal overall, but it would have been more difficult if we'd had more children with us. Otherwise, it was a great house, very clean, check in and check out went quickly and smoothly.

We were pleasantly surprised with the space throughout the house. There is a lot of décor that takes up extra space but plenty of room for large groups. The pool and hot tub area is large with plenty of seating area around the deck and even more on the wrap around deck upstairs. The access to the beach was about a 10 minute walk, but if you have s lot to take with you there is a beach access with parking less than a half mile away to help you out. If there is one downside it would be the vehicle noise from bypass road, still not bad though and you do not notice it inside the house. This house is definitely worth the money and we have already talked about staying here again in the future.

Overall, this house was great for 2 families. Had a good amount of room. The pool was nicely heated and the Jacuzzi was great for cool evenings. The house was in the heart of Kitty Hawk which was great. Now to the down sides. The furniture was extremely dated. Mismatched and very uncomfortable. The rooms were small because there was so much HUGE dated furniture in them. The internet (wifi) only worked upstairs and by day three of our week, the cable was not working. The house is located right beside a busy section of highway (Croatan Hwy). Relaxing by the pool was nearly impossible during the day. We had to call maintenance to come and clean the pool halfway through the stay because birds sit on the power lines directly above the pool. No bird deterrence around. One side of the Jacuzzi did not have jets working. Therefore, we had to alternate sides to enjoy.

The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful!! The only problem we really had was that there were fleas. I have many bites on my legs and saw them in my room. Unfortunately brought at least one home with me too. They need to bug bomb the place. Location isn't great because it's right on the road. Traffic was so loud and seemed to go on all night. There was also dog poop found in at least one room. If they fix the cleanliness issues it would be a really good place for a big group. Plenty of seating and beds. Would recommend if those issues were resolved.

Overall we were very happy with this rental but it had a few minor issues. The pump to the pool kept breaking so the pools levels would change and the temp would not stay consistent. Also there were nails and screws found outside but the pool area. The two primary showers were very small. We were traveling in a large group and the space was really nice. The kitchen was large and able to hold us all. The house was close to the beach but you did have to walk further than we initially thought and the house was right next to a very busy road. You could hear traffic all night long.

Overall the house was nice. Eating area is not near big enough for the amount of people that can stay at the house. We chose not to use the bar seating because the chairs were unsafe. Bedrooms are way to crowed with dressers. The house is being sold and we had realtors show up twice during our stay to show the house. (communication issues between people for sure) Upstairs refrigerator needs replaced bad. Called 1st day for maintenance issue, they came Thursday to look at it. Outside area is nice. The pictures are definitely deceiving on sizes. Hopefully the new owners will put some work into it and make it better. We used the app however messages would not show up for hours after they were sent. (ex. we got notification of trash day the day after it was picked up. Check out process needs updated. We received information on how to check out hours after we left and only minutes before checkout time.

The property has had many updates since we stayed 22 years ago. The inside however, has not had that luxury. The fridge upstairs looks as though it is the same one...rusty on the outside...very old. The bathroom tub upstairs need replaced and everything looks really dated.

Overall we had a great vacation BUT this property is in serious need of updating and a deep clean. Here are some key points in regards to the needed updates and overall cleanliness;
1) upstairs refrigerator was rusty on the outside and looked corroded in certain spots.
2) downstairs tub with jets was FILTHY. Several kids in our group were excited about the tub but we had to clean each individual jet before letting them use it due to the gunk that was built up in each jet.
3) the inside stairs looked as if they had not been vacuumed in months.
4) the tub/shower in the upstairs bedroom has peeling enamel.
5) pool was clean but the bottom had spots where it was discolored and peeling.
6) outside pool area had weeds growing all around and random debris laying all over the place.
7) the deck around the top floor has wilted boards and nails sticking up. Certain boards seemed as if they would break in half if they were stepped on.
We will definitely return to OBX but we don’t anticipate renting out this property in the future.

The house could of been more spacious without all the random furnishings tucked in every open space. The kitchen sink upstairs had a constant drip. The gate to the pool was broke. The screen door to the main entrance upstairs was broke. We had several random visitors such as a friend of the owners to pick up items from a shed. A roofing guy shows up. So it was uneasy for us to leave our young teenage girls alone at the house. We could of been notified of these appearances. Some of the decking boards where dangerous and needs repair. The grass was never mowed and about 3 feet tall. Nothing was more disappointing than the cleanliness of the home. Candy wrappers and other trash was left in almost every room. Tubs still had hair from previous tenants. Under the couch downstairs was a pile of sand and a pair of adult men's underwear. Hands down we left the house cleaner than the condition we arrived to.

The experience was just ok. It is an extremely loud location because of the highway traffic. It needs better cleaning as mold was evident in bathrooms and some things not dusted. Didn't feel like complaining at the time because of the pandemic. The two kitchens could not function separately due to the lack of enough utensils, plates and cookware. We were constantly hunting enough items to produce a meal in one kitchen. Great idea but impractical. The hot tub was the highlight. The property management text message system was handled well and customer service provided quick response. LOVED the keyless lock system and checkout by text message.

In major need of updating and a deep clean.
Overall we had a great vacation BUT this property is in serious need of updating and a deep clean. Here are some key points in regards to the needed updates and overall cleanliness;
1) upstairs refrigerator was rusty on the outside and looked corroded in certain spots.
2) downstairs tub with jets was FILTHY. Several kids in our group were excited about the tub but we had to clean each individual jet before letting them use it due to the gunk that was built up in each jet.
3) the inside stairs looked as if they had not been vacuumed in months.
4) the tub/shower in the upstairs bedroom has peeling enamel.
5) pool was clean but the bottom had spots where it was discolored and peeling.
6) outside pool area had weeds growing all around and random debris laying all over the place.
7) the deck around the top floor has wilted boards and nails sticking up. Certain boards seemed as if they would break in half if they were stepped on.
We will definitely return to OBX but we don’t anticipate renting out this property in the future.

All in all we loved this vacation rental, it was unique and very spacious. We came towards the end of the season and there was a renter right before us so I can understand some of the issues. We had a few maintenance visits for lighting concerns, which was fine since both gentlemen were awesome, but it did make it very treacherous to see at night: numerous lightbulbs out inside and outside around pool area, outside lamppost doesn’t work, deck lights were broken. Inside we had several leaky faucets but like I said, that’s routine maintenance. The Keurig was broken but it was quickly replaced with a brand new one, YAY! The downstairs couches were peeling so hopefully they replace those. Also, the yard area had a lot of tall weeds and could have used a mowing.
Now the positives which there were MANY! Rooms were all big with very comfortable beds. One bathroom downstairs has a walk-in shower so good for older folks or someone that has a handicap. The kitchens were well equipped, and the common areas had plenty of seating. Short drive to public beach access and parking that also had a bath house so that was wonderful. Pool and jacuzzi were clean and well maintained. I could not get over how clean the house was for us, we ordered the linen package and it was certainly worth the money. Plenty of parking and privacy with a big outdoor space to have fun in. Dog friendly as well which was a huge positive for us.
Note that this house, although there is a barrier, is right next to a busy 4 lane road that has lots of traffic noise when you are outside. We live in the country so this was very noticeable to us.

Location was very nice, beach within walking distance, close to restaurants , my complain was it wasn't as clean as it should have been, there was candy wrappers in drawers,clothes left in dressers, the high chair was very nasty, I had to bleach it before puttig my granddaughter in it, there was sand in the carpet, the pool area was cluttered , the pool and hot tub itself was nice and clean, , lawn was not maintained, if these issues can be resolved I would give all 5's

Cons: If you’re the family that stays downstairs, good luck! Water bugs two inches long crawl up the walls, it smells like straight mildew no matter how much spray you put, the beds are hard as rock, I personally got destroyed by mosquitos (or possibly bed bugs) during my sleep and we had the windows closed

Called about possible bed bugs and no one came to check, the doors would not shut the whole way, mirror in master bedroom looked like it had never been cleaned (I could write my name in the mess.), and we cleaned upon arrival and it was very dirty on the stoves, on the grill there was a sticky from the hospital used for heart patients.

Thought this would be a great house for a mini-family reunion. Terrible. House wasn't clean (during pandemic), used limes on floor, clothes behind dressers, upstairs dishwasher not emptied, downstairs dishwasher loaded with dirty dishes, broom broken, food/drinks left in fridge, sand/dirt all over carpet/floors, beach toys/drinks on deck, cigarette butts all over lawn (non-smoking rental), toilet seat loose upstairs, WHOLE toilet loose downstairs, bunk bed railing loose, top dishwasher rack fell to lower rack bc some piece was missing, dresser w/o a bottom, steps loose on outside stairwell, wood loose on benches by the pool, nails on grass/driveway, new hot tub put in on our 2nd to last day but not complete until last day so no use for 1 day & when finally fixed, it was leaking & also, think a bed had bed bugs bc my SIL has bites that appeared the day after we left. Been home for 3 days now & still no resolution from property mngr/owner. A ton of pictures could be posted on this POORLY maintained & UNCLEAN home! Worst stay in over 13 yrs at OBX.

House was pretty good. Spacious for 3-4 families. We liked the private pool, 5-10 minute walk to the beach and 2 kitchen. House was kept clean and well maintained. Its pretty much right off of the highway & across ACE hardware and couple of stores. Could be taken as a positive or negative thing. As suggestion to landlord - The grill area badly needs some cleaning (grill works perfectly fine), multiple lights near pool have gone fuse and the hot tub controls have almost gone. But nothing of a major concern. We loved the house and location.
