We headed from flatlands Indiana to visit college son during his Montana State University spring break with our daughter knowing a buddy or two would visit. This home is located just minutes outside Livingston in a secluded lil neighborhood with mule deer and horses as neighbors. The home was immaculate and filled with warm and comfortable touches - wood burning stove prepped for a fire, coffee & beverage bar, throw blankets, books and very comfortable beds, bedding and a soaker tub (came in handy for us non-college age aft day hikes). We made several home cooked meals for our group and could have hosted Thanksgiving only having to bring the turkey as the kitchen was so well stocked with every imaginable pot, pan, serving dishes and utensils. The bedrooms are located on either side of the house so when someone needed to relax or nap they had space. The loft turned into movie theater with seating for our group. Best friendly host who made the trip feel like we were staying at a friend’s home - checking to ensure all was well with quick responses and was able to adjust check out time so we could squeeze every minute out of the mountains. We have stayed at rental homes many times in Europe, Arizona and Wisconsin and this home and host exceeded in all categories!

The host was wonderful and considerate. There were treats left out when we arrived and she was constantly checking in with us as the weather dropped to -40 F and there were power outages nearby. The whole house was clean, well supplied with cooking tools, and very comfortable!

We were all very impressed with this property. It is a lovely home with incredible views. The house was very clean and comfortable. There were so many extra things to make our stay easy. It was just like being at home.

This house was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Everything you need to make a great meal in the kitchen. Huge fenced in yard that our dog loved. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful views off the big covered porch where we had our morning coffee with our dog. We loved this place and would definitely rent this beautiful place again. We stayed for a week and enjoyed Livingston and even made the drive to the West Entrance, the house was a great place to come back to after adventuring around. Fully stocked, very spacious, and Angie was the most communicative host we’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend staying here for families and large groups. Five stars all the way!

This house is spectacular. It was so clean and well stocked with everything you might need. The view is amazing. The owner was so gracious and responsive. We would definitely rent again.

Our Daughter got married in Paradise valley last weekend and we loved the Rennells house. It was a fantastic place, better than advertised, with stunning views of the Absaroka mountains on the back deck. We had my wife's family over for dinner and there was a bunch of kids who loved playing games in the back yard. The house is beautiful inside and out and fully equipped for a perfect vacation stay. Even with the flooding taking place the day after we arrived.lOur trip and family time was enjoyable. The mountain view from the homes back porch was outstanding anytime of the day, rain or shine.

Property was close enough to food and supplies yet still out of town a bit with deer having a browse through the yard. vistas were breathtaking.

An amazing place with lots of space inside and out, and amazing views. I hope to be here again!

Our family gathered at the Rennells House so we could go with our daughter and her family to cut their Christmas Tree. If you’ve never experienced walking through the Montana forest to find the perfect Christmas tree, then you have missed a magical experience. Coming home to the wood fire, and the ability to make dinner in a well equipped kitchen, made the experience even better. We highly recommend this home to anyone. The beautiful sunrises from the kitchen windows are worth waking up for. We will definitely be back!!!

I was blown away by the overall greatness of this home and property. The beds were comfortable, linens were high quality, lay out was ideal for spending quality time with family. Every room and surgace was spotless. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need. We sat in the living room around the fire every evening. The views of the mountains are breathtaking, location was conveniently close to town….I could go on and on. Top notch. Thank you!

This is a great home to enjoy the southern Montana. Everything you need can be found within the house including dishware, cooking utensils, laundry and most importantly awesome views, piece and quiet. Our dogs loved the large backyard, and playing through the fence with the neighbors dogs. We have rented many houses at the beach and in the mountains in other areas of the country, and the Rennells House ranks with the best.
