The place was very nice we had no problems at all. Was very easy to contact the owner. We actually met her on one of our last days she was very nice. I would definitely stay there again. It was so close to everything very good location.

Great location, but no real view. Well, if your on the garage you can kinda see a touch of the ocean. We stayed in the back apt, upstairs. Place was fine other than the day we came home to hundreds of bugs by the laundry room! Termines. Owner was very laxed about the gross situation. If they had AC, and no bugs may consider saying again.

Centrally located for the area. Clean and comfortable assuming it doesn’t get hot (ceiling fans help). Nice to have the washer and dryer but the garage access is the huge plus. Communication with the host is excellent.

The location is fantastic. Unfortunately, we arrived at night and none of the motion sensor lights were working. Thank goodness for the phone flashlight. Inside...well... there's no airconditioning. Having grown up in California, I assumed there would be. The unit was very warm, but worse than that--bugs. It has a termite infestation. The owner immediately offered a full refund, which we accepted and scrambled to find somewhere else to stay at 11 pm.

Great Mom/daughter getaway. Everything close by that we needed. We did drive to paddle board and whale watching. Door dash found us pretty easily. Beach a block away, tons of restaurants and shopping so close. Enjoyed alley balcony and big kitchen. Would rent again, everything smooth.

This property is as described, and if you want to be near the beach and Huntington Beach’s Main Street (shops, restaurants, etc) and do it on a budget, this place is worth considering.
There is shared garage parking (which is a bit tight, but we parked a mid-sized SUV carefully and without issue). Having parking is a huge bonus when you are near the beach in SoCal.
The access to the apartment is from a set of stairs toward the back of the property. You can either access from the alley, or through the garage. If accessing from the garage you walk right past the lower unit’s patio doors…looking into the lower apartments kitchen and living room…which feels a bit awkward.
The apartment itself is rather modest in terms of fixtures, furnishing and amenities, but it was clean and served the purpose. There are ceiling fans and portable fans, which will come in handy in the summer time, as the upper unit does get hot in the afternoons.
We met the owner briefly as she was dropping off some supplies and she was very nice, and even provided a blender upon request, which I was very grateful for. I would consider staying here again, as the location is perfect for me, and the price was right.

Great property. Wish it had a keypad on the door instead of an actual key to unlock. Stressed about losing the key and making sure we could all get into the house.

Property was very clean, 1 block from Main Street and a block and a half from the beach! Property owner was easily accessible for any questions and provided a great deal of information prior to arrival. I would highly recommend!

Stayed here with my two kids, I loved the fact that we had a parking spot didn't have to try and find one at the beach. The beach was a quick 5 minute walk. Loved it!

Had a great time at this property. Was close enough to walk to the beach. Did have one garage parking spot, but very tight getting in and out. Owner was very nice and great at communicating.

Owner has split up the property to perfectly accommodate those in town for nearby work event or beachside activities. As duly noted in listing, there is no central cooling, but not a big deal with cool ocean air, fans through the rooms and big windows for air circulation. The big windows are also awesome for listening to the ocean at night. Natural sleep aide!

The house is in a great location. The owner was very accommodating and available anytime we needed her for anything. The condo is in the back of a 3 bedroom house above the garage. It’s not really a house. The condo itself could use some fixing up of a few things. The shower faucet needs replaced, the 3 blinds need replaced in the living room and hall, only 2 of the 4 floor fans worked and the house could really use some paint. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

This is a retro-fitted "back house" that has its own entrance from the alley. We had four people staying there with only one full bathroom and a powder room. It works well with conscientious adults or a single family. The surprise was the full bed with a twin bunk bed above. It actually worked out for us, since two of us were not a couple. We could get to PCH in a flash. The balcony patio was great.

This apartment is so well stocked with essentials- cooking equipment, towels, paper goods,etc. The location cannot be beat. I and my family was very comfortable here. Will definitely book this place again!!

The property was a short walk from dining, shopping, and the beach. Bicycles were provided and we rode for miles along the beach. Bianca the owner was polite, easy to work with and prompt in answering our questions. I was a bargain for the price. We will be staying here again.

We really enjoyed out stay here. We loved the location. No AC but it was great having the windows open and the breeze in the evenings. We had no issues with being too hot. Kitchen has all you need to cook up nice meals. We walked a block to the beach every day and it was perfect. Close to restaurants too.

No AC, it has a heater but you don't control and the only vent is in the front room. I did find a small space heater that helped. The bathroom with the shower is very small. Towels all different kinds and probably could be refreshed. Internet is terrible. My son takes his xbox but couldn't pay because the internet is not powerful enough. The property stocks the apartment and has everything you can think of. The location is walking distance to everything and that is well worth it. Well worth it.

Great location
We really enjoyed our stay. This property is perfectly located near the beach & shopping but still in a quiet block. It was the perfect space for us with a large kitchen and every amenity we needed. The most convenient bonus was the garage parking. We also loved having bikes and rode them along the beach every day. Owner was very responsive & legit. Thanks!

Enjoy the beach life in this cozy place with quick access to all Beach amenities. HB Main St is a 5 minute walk or use available bikes to ride the beach boardwalk. Bianca was extremely fast to answer any questions & easy to work with. Would stay here again!
