This property provides a nice view and is close to many good hotels and restaurants. Walking to the beach takes about 5 minutes. The property was very clean and it had everything we needed. The furnishings are a bit outdated, as well as the check in process. We usually receive instructions and a code. Overall, it’s a nice property in a good location. However, even with the 20% discount we received for not having a beach, the price was a bit steep for what you get now that the beach is pretty much gone in front of this property as well as the surrounding properties.

This was our first “big” vacation with our children, ages 8 and 11. Everything was perfect. The manager, Kathy, was so nice and accommodating. She even helped with our grocery deliveries! The owner maintains excellent communication. The property is clean, safe and beautiful. So much to do in Grand Cayman and this is a great location to stay.

Clean nice everything we needed for a great vacstion

We had a wonderful time! Every year we take our family on a trip for Christmas. Ages 53-20. The beach was not how it used to be but it did not change how much fun we had. We walked the beach and walls everyday. The area is very safe, we always felt safe, we could walk everywhere or hop the local bus for a couple bucks to take you all over. Kathy was wonderful with everything, the staff was also amazing, very friendly. Will definitely plan a trip back.

This property is very clean, quiet and centrally located. The condo was well stocked and had everything we needed. It was spacious and worked great for our group of five adults - we weren’t tripping over each other and could spread out. The host, property manager Kathy, and maintenance man Henry were so nice and responsive. There is no beach anymore due to erosion but the pool area was lovely. The Christmas lights on the palm trees and other landscaping were so fun! Honestly, the photos of this property do not do it justice!

We had a great time, the condo was fully equipped with everything we needed. Special thanks to manager Kathy for being so helpful, to owner Susan for always promptly responding, and to the Brazilian maintenance guy (sorry, forgot his name), who showed up right away when we requested to reset and reconnect the TV.

We came to Grand Cayman with 13/14 years olds to finish their PADI scuba certification. Tamarind Bay was close to restaurants and shopping and the kids loved swimming in the pool and the ocean!

The check in process was wonderful. The lady was very very pleasant and wonderful. She gave service with a smile, explained that she is available if needed. The apartment way wonder 3 bedroom 2 bathrooms with all the amenities and some. Anything you possibly need was there for us to use. The grounds staff were wonderful. They kept the property well. The only thing that was missing was another tv in the third bedroom. But all was wonderful I'm looking and hoping to stay there again. Thank you Susan, Kathy and Tammy. I appreciate you all.

Stayed here with dive buddies. Really couldn't ask for better accommodations. Being able to walk right out of the screened porch to the pool is amazing. Kitchen was nicely stocked with a variety of cookware, glassware, and utensils. Good hot water. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Really made staying here a delight. Thank you!

Susan, thank you for sharing your condo with us. My family had a wonderful time and your condo was very clean, comfortable and spacious for the 4 of us. We were able to walk to a few restaurants and take the public bus to downtown. Wish we could've stayed longer, but we hope to come back in the future. Thank you again!

Right on 7 mile beach and easy access to a lot of restaurants & shoppes but also very quiet.

There are lots of places to choose from on 7 Mile Beach, thankfully this one was in a perfect location for our needs. We were within walking distance to rent water sports, public beaches, and beach side food and drinks. Then on the road side we had even more shops, liquor stores and food options within walking distance. And if it's to far for you to walk there are public bus stops not far from the condo. It truly was the best location for our family. Never once did we feel uncomfortable to walk in the evening in small groups - always feeling safe and secure was a great comfort!

What a great condo & Susan was excellent in communicating with us. Ground floor was very convenient & only a few steps to ocean. Condo was fully stocked so just get some groceries & you are ready! We walked to eat dinner at restaurants each night of our week. Henry the groundskeeper is a treasurer & super friendly. We loved walking the beach outside our door multiple times a day! We enjoyed snorkeling right out front of condo. Love the condo & love it here!! Super relaxing condo & so nice & quiet compared to hotels down the beach. We’ll be back for sure!

Location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. We did rent a car from Andy's to make things easier. Condo was ideal. Condo was Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Wonderful staff! Henry was the highlight of the stay! Best groundskeeper on the planet. Beach is eroded, so rocky. Water shoes were essential, but loved the fact that no one was on the beach in front of the condo. This unit overlooks the pool, so it was easy to keep tabs on the kids. The pictures don't do it justice; this was gorgeous. We snorkeled off the beach at the condo and it was every bit as good as the snorkeling excursion we took (and so much easier!) Susan was great to deal with and Kathy in the office was wonderful, too. When we go back to GCI, we will try to stay in this unit again. All 7 of us agreed that everything was perfect.

Fantastic location on Seven Mile Beach. The complex is really nice, and not over crowded which we appreciated. Highlights: breathtaking sunsets, great pool area, wonderful snorkeling right in front of condo (bring water shoes as beach is eroded/rocky getting into water) and grounds are meticulous thanks to Henry who doesn’t miss a detail and works SO hard. Kathy is a great on site manager and very kind. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you need; very functional to grill outside or cook a great meal indoors. A quick 1 minute walk to Ambassador Dive Shop which is a phenomenal company to dive with. We did four days with them - ask for Tieghan. Plenty of walkable restaurants and bars - highly recommend Craft Food and Drinks, the Veranda at The Marriott and Peppers. The beds were comfortable and the screened lanai was great. We loved the easy access to the pool and snorkeling. While the furniture is a little tired there were plenty of beach and bath towels and the condo is a comfortable, spacious place to stay. We wanted for nothing and I highly recommended this property. Great for a family or group of friends. We left grateful and happy.

Susan's property was the perfect spot for our family vacation. Several restaurants are within walking distance. The condo was exactly as described, the screened in porch was perfect for taking a break from the sun. The snorkeling right off shore was perfect, we rented snorkeling gear for the week and used it every day - saw tons of fish, stingrays, turtles, and squid. The sunsets were perfect. We are a family of 5 with 3 children aged 7 to 11 and we all had such a great time, we are looking forward to arranging another visit. We chose this complex and the specific condo after many hours of internet time researching everything available on Seven Mile Beach and this appeared to tick all the boxes - the research paid off because we were delighted with the whole experience. The reality was even better than the photographs and description on the websites. Highlights are - the proximity, constant views and sound of the Caribbean Sea, the proximity to the pool, the third bedroom (billed as a converted den) was as good as the other 2 bedrooms, making this a proper 3 bedroom condo, in our opinion, the facilities (e.g. several sturdy gas BBQs, kept clean for guest use, beach chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, even a selection of buckets and spades for the kids), the service (eg daily maid service, the friendly caretaker sweeps and cleans the beach and looks after the grounds to a very good standard), central location near to town and loads of other facilities and I could go on and on with positives. The owner and the property manager were both friendly and very efficient during the booking and the stay. The value for money was spot on, which we really appreciated. We also had other family staying in the complex, which added to the whole experience - a great place for an extended family holiday/reunion.

We are a family of five, with three young adult children. We chose this unit based on price and proximity. We were not disappointed! The unit was even nicer than the pictures appeared and was extremely well stocked. The owner sent us information after booking that was spot on. A wonderful fruit/coffee basket welcomed us. We were on the first floor overlooking the pool and beach which was great for early morning coffee while the others slept in. Our daughter had to have knee surgery two weeks before we arrived, so the ground floor worked out well with her needs. There were two bedrooms which slept six, and a study with a pull-out sofa bed that gave our son the privacy he preferred. The furniture was not fancy but homey and clean. The kitchen had everything we could hope for and a grill is right outside both doors for any grilling you might want to do. The wi-fi was appreciated by all and the televisions were very nice. We used the local phone to make multiple reservations during the week and the information pamphlets that Manager, Kathy, put together for us was very helpful. She was able to make suggestions and answer any questions we had. The condo Assoc. had a party to celebrate her 20 years of service the night we got there, and invited us to join in. We were able to take part in the Resort Dive through Ambassador Dive, which was conveniently located right at the entrance to Tamarind Bay, and they shuttled us out to the marina for our dives. All equip needed was included. When we wished to rent snorkel equip for the week they suggested we purchase snorkel gear at Costuless (Governors Sq Mall), which is a big box store like sam's Club or Costco, without the membership. A set of snorkel/fins/mask were $50 US opposed to renting them for $16/day at Ambassador. Snorkeling was good right in front of our unit. We did take advantage of the buses and taxis while we were there. To hail a taxi or a bus was quite easy. Go to the main road and start walking in the direction you want to go, they will beep twice as they come by and you put your hand out to hail them. Careful though, the buses and taxis look alike. 12 passenger vans, and the taxis have a small sign that says taxi. The buses are $2.00 Caymanian/$2.50 US per person each way, which actually made it about the same for a family of five to take a taxi to a restaurant close by at $13.00 US. A taxi for the five of us from the airport to Tamarind Bay was $30US. Enjoy!

This was our first visit to Tamarind Bay and I was a bit apprehensive about the size of the unit since there were 7 adults: grandparents, our adult children and our two year old granddaughter. The unit was larger and better than I expected. It is well laid out, kitchen well stocked, screened porch a plus and first floor location was perfect. We were steps from the pool and beach. The beach was beautiful with snorkeling directly in front. It was also nice being close to the Marriot as we arrived on Super Bowl Sunday (when grocery stores are closed) and were able to walk up the beach, have some drinks and dinner on the terrace and be back in time for the Super Bowl sad as that was. Kathy and the staff are outstanding. Grounds, pool and beach area are well maintained. A welcome basket with fruit and staples was in the unit for our arrival. Loved the mattress in the master bedroom - suggest updating bedding in that room. Would rate 4.5 stars but don't know how to do that.

A party of eight girlfriends stayed here for New Years 2014. It was a much needed vacation and the owner, Susan, was very nice & accommodating. The location on seven mile beach was fabulous! Thanks!

We stayed at Tamarind Bay condo, and were very pleased. We are a family of four, and the floor plan of our unit included a bonus room with a fold out sofa that was perfect for our son, giving everyone the comfort and privacy that you want on a vacation. The location, the view, and the beach were all fantastic. Staff was also pleasant and accommodating. We would choose it again!

This condo and complex is wonderful. The pictures don't give it justice. My friends and I were so impressed with how spacious and nice this condo was. Great family vacation. Proximity to the pool and beach was amazing and perfect for our family of five. We all snorkled right from our part of the beach! Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a car rental across the street on the days you want to navigate the island. Would go back tomorrow!

This was our first stay in the Cayman islands. This condo is perfectly located on 7MB, 10 min from the airport, and close to nice restaurants (walking distance). Right accross the street is a car rental that we used to rent a car one day to visit Rhum Point and West Bay. Grocery is not far, though if you want to buy heavy items (water) you probably want to take a bus or a car. Also for divers, a diving center (also offering stingray trips) is right at the corner.The condo is beautiful, first floor which is great with young kids, right at the pool with also ocean view. The bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you need, and upon our arrival we even had a welcome basket of fruits! Shampoo, soaps, dish detergent, linens, towels and beach towels are provided, which is so convenient! The maid is really nice and accomodates your schedule. Henry who is in charge of the building is such a sweet guy! The owner was also very easy to communicate with. The only weak point for us was that we would have prefered a stronger mattress on the king size bed, but we would definitely recommend this unit to anyone staying on 7MB! This week is considered low season, and really there was barely anyone in the pool except from our family! Loved it! If you are looking for a place to stay, don't hesitate!!!

Location is great. Enjoyed the peaceful environment on our beach and at times, joined in the festivities and activities (wave runner, snorkel safari) in front of the Marriott 100 yds down the beach. Unlike other resorts, especially the hotels, we never had a problem getting chairs at the pool or on the beach despite being there during one of the busiest weeks of the year. The condo unit itself was also ideal -- clean and nicely laid out, with patio view of pool and ocean. Service was outstanding and helpful, from Kathy (manager) to Henry (the groundskeeper) and Rose (housekeeper).

We had a great time in Cayman and absolutely loved this condo. The Taramind Bay condos are located in a perfect spot close to a few fast food places and convenient gas shops. The ocean is only a few feet from the pool. The pool is awesome with a supply of beach and pool toys for guests to use. The grocery store is about 3/4 mile down the road. The bus service was very convenient for $2.50 US per person to take you anywhere on 7 Mile Beach - to Turtle Farm and to Georgetown. The condos are very well kept and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice place. We only stayed for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The Beach was clean, the water was clear and warm and the people were nice. Pool was a great addition for the kids!
