Lovely stay at the Babajamas suite!! Bev and Bill are so accommodating and really go above and beyond to make your stay special, many small touches that were so thoughtful - including treats for our dog! Perfectly clean and inviting, we felt at home right away. Can’t wait to go back!

Certainly lived up to our expectations. Lovely hosts. Perfect little suite with all we needed. Great location for launching kayaks at the little marina just down the street. Dog was happy. We were happy. Couldn’t have done better.

We spent part of our honeymoon on the Sunshine Coast and had the most lovely time! Bev and Bill are fantastic, thoughtful hosts, and the treats and local recommendations they shared with us were much appreciated. They even had champagne for us on our arrival (and chocolate strawberries later in our stay) to help us celebrate our honeymoon. Such a sweet gesture! The suite is comfortable and well equipped, and the views from the various decks are gorgeous. We especially enjoyed drinking coffee on the lower deck and taking our paddle boards out in the inlet. Overall, we had a fantastic time! I highly recommend staying with Bev and Bill. We hope we can make another trip back sometime soon. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Bev and Bill have a lovely home on a steep slope overlooking Porpoise Bay. The outdoor space is fabulous. We were treated so well—don’t like to detail it—how can they do this for everyone! Yet the reviews are unanimous—they are the best of hosts.

Property was very clean, quiet, private, waterviews of the whole inlet and nature at your door best of all was the the friendly host Bev and her welcome scones. Plan on visiting this property again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Bill and Bev are excellent hosts with excellent recommendations. No details were missed in this suite and we loved all of the outside areas where we could relax, the special touches and the suite was an ideal layout for us to spend our time in. We were close to downtown Sechelt, Davis Bay, Sandy Hook and it was a beautiful drive to Ruby Lake from this location. We hope to be back again.

Wow what a place!! Bill was great, very helpful. It is a bit of a hike down stairs to the lower deck, but we’ll worth it. Spent a lot of time down there soaking up the sun and enjoying the view. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean an in perfect condition. We would not hesitate to go back!

We spent 3 days at Babajamas and were very impressed with the accommodations. Bev and Bill are great hosts and were very attentive. The bedroom is cozy and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we could need to prepare meals or enjoy takeout from the many local restaurants. We appreciated how clean and tidy the place was. We enjoyed spending time on the deck in the mornings and again after day hikes in the local forests. We feel very relaxed and we highly recommend Babajamas to anyone who wants to simply relax or enjoy a vast variety of outdoor recreational activities in beautiful B.C.

The property location is beautiful, serene, and makes you feel lucky to be there. Accommodation was cozy and comfortable. Sitting out on the deck and watching seals, seaplanes, eagles and other wildlife was amazing. A wonderful place to stay.

…we could wish for was waiting for us on arrival. Bev and Bill go out of their way to provide a welcoming atmosphere which might even include the baking of a carrot cake. Couldn’t be more friendly or respectful. Will return.

We have a wonderful 4 day stay here. The unit, which is the lower part of the house, has a great deck to calmly enjoy the sunshine, nature and an excellent view of the bay. The interior of the unit is well appointed and nicely furnished. Bev and Bill were great hosts with good advice when needed.

A private well appointed paradise to relax in. Many great trails and restaurants in the area. Hosts were wonderful.

Bev and Bill have every detail figured out for an absolutely beautiful and relaxing stay! From the complementary homemade scones and jam to the coffee kit to take down to the lower deck to enjoy spectacular Sechelt Inlet views … everything is perfect. The views are amazing. The place was immaculate. There was so many little added special touches (popcorn scones jam and granola) that it really felt like home. Very relaxing. We loved our stay

What a peaceful and relaxing getaway! The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. The homemade scones were delicious! The property itself offered more tranquility and peaceful spots than any place we've ever been. We will most definitely be staying again. This was my second time staying at this suite. And it won’t be my last. The serene location, and Bev’s scones, have made it a special place to go when I need a quick get away from the bustle of Vancouver or when I want to take time for a writing retreat. Bev is so kind and thoughtful that I always feel at ease knowing she is close by if I need her for anything. And the 4 decks on the property allow for a variety of views and settings to enjoy the natural environment. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and nature walks.

We had a quick little 4 day getaway and chose this beautiful one bedroom because of it's location! The views are amazing, Bev and Bill are amazing, it was relazing, just what we needed. We were greeted with a full set up for our puppy and baked treats for us. We will be back, thank you!

Beautiful property. Close to golf and beaches and a very nice town. Highlight of my trip was kayaking. Accommodations were super clean and well equipped. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. I would like to stay again sometime. Perfect place for a romantic retreat or a personal get away for peace and serenity.

My husband and I are from the central United States and wanted to experience the Vancouver area for our honeymoon. We searched for quite a while and looked at many properties all over the area, but when we saw this property on West Porpoise Bay, we knew this was where we wanted to begin our honeymoon. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We stayed here from September 24 to September 28, 2022. The suite offers all you need, a clean and comfortable mini-kitchen, living area with quite a view from a large picture window, comfortable bed and bedroom, and bathroom. We even enjoyed a game of foosball. I lost. :-) We were able to cook our meals in the kitchen or drive the short distance into town for delicious meals. Bev and Bill have thought of everything to make your stay special. The best part of this property, though, is the view. There are at leave five different "decks" from which you can sit and relax, taking in breathtaking views of the Sechelt Inlet, and you can walk down to the water as well. We enjoyed coffee from the lowest deck every morning, and I sat and journaled from the deck with stools and the top deck picnic table. We saw seals in the water, which was fun. We counted 99 stairs from the top deck to the water's edge, and the path is beautifully laid out and easy to maneuver. We saw lots of little hidden decorations along the path to each of the decks. It's just perfectly landscaped, quiet, peaceful, and offered everything we wanted.

We really enjoyed our stay at Babajamas. The cottage was SO clean. The views were spectacular. The host Bev is so nice. Sechelt is such a beautiful little town filled with shops. I really loved our stay and hope to return again in the near future.

We absolutely loved our week on the Sunshine Coast and included was this beautiful ocean front home. Bev and Bill were wonderful hosts always guiding us with great places to explore, and friendly conversation. Can't say enough nice things about them. We were greeted with homemade goodies, the suite was immaculately clean, and fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. And the location was so lovely, with many seating spots to take in the gorgeous ocean views. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

I arranged for my mother to stay at West Porpoise Bay while she was in Sechelt for a family wedding. Everything about the stay was ideal including the beautiful home, the spacious suite, the decks with views, the generous hosts, and the great communication. My mother was so thrilled with the treat of having her own place. We could not have possibly selected a better stay to impress her on the Sunshine Coast. My heartfelt thanks to the hosts.

Warmly welcomed by both Bill and Bev. Beautiful place with flowers and trees surrounding the deck, facing the inlet. Cool breeze from the water cooling you off. Comfy bed and fully stocked kitchen.
