This is a great property! Perfect location, right across from beach access, and easy in and out to everything Gulf Shores has to offer! The location of the key to the property was slightly different than what the instructions said, but after a couple of seconds we found it. Would definitely stay again!

Great family friendly location. Beach is located across the street. Easy fast access to the beach. The house is away from all the condos so you don’t have to fight for the “perfect” beach spot. Also, away from all the hustle and bustle from the sight seeing, but still only a few minutes away. Perfect location for family quality time!

We had 2 families share this unit- no little ones. Great location, easy access to beach and not crowded at all even with holiday weekend. We cooked most of our meals and found all essentials. We would definitely stay again!

Great house in the best location, West Beach. No high rises nearby = less people = better vacay! Owner was very responsive, easy in and out, good value. Spring break success!

Absolutely loved the location. Very clean. It was close to everything but not directly in hub. This made it easier to cross back & forth to the beach. Less traffic. Plenty of beach toys for kids. 5 ⭐️

I would recommend the location for anybody with young children and teenagers. Easy walk to the beach. Nice location not too close but not too far away to restaurants and shopping.

The property is in a great location with private beach right across the street. However, it is not worth the money to stay. If I was in a hotel I would have requested my money back. The entire home needs a massive deep cleaning. The ceiling fans are black with dirt. There are fans in each room and they were so caked in dirt and other peoples hair it was nasty. All of the air conditioning vents have dirt coming out of them and the ceiling is stained. The upstairs shower has zero water pressure. The hand rail to the upstairs has what looks like chocolate hand print smears all over it. The kitchen chairs look like they will fall apart if you sit incorrectly, and one of them has a screw sticking out of the seat, my child got stabbed by it. The listing says there are beach chairs, but there are none. Also the ex-husband lives next door and there were so many people coming in and out , tons of cars, not peaceful at all.

This unit is in a fantastic location for families that enjoy a not so busy beach but want to still be close to everything. The beach access is across a street, but it's a relatively short distance, which is fantastic for littles. We did bring a wagon, but the sand was extremely soft. Either way, still a VERY nice beach. As far as the unit, it does have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom is very much in need of repairs/ updating as is the downstairs bathroom, as well as some parts of the ceiling and walls that have holes, or separation between. There is also a slight moldy smell upon entering the unit, so anyone with allergies should be aware. The beds were all fairly comfortable and the a/c unit worked VERY well despite the heat wave of summer months. The previous comment about the cleaning crew was somewhat correct, the floor was covered in sand when we got there. I know it's a beach house, I know there is going to be sand tracked in, but we definitely couldn't be bare foot. Also, the cleaning company stuck the bath towels under the sink drain and next to paint buckets, paint rollers, and some other supplies that were under the counter. For some, that may be ok, but for us it wasn't 'clean' so we did wash the towels that were provided. I should also make note that the grill provided is older, and shared with the neighbor. Now, the next door neighbor is a home owner as opposed to a renter, so his family was over quite a bit to enjoy the beach also. They weren't disrespectful or anything, they were polite and parking was not an issue for us while we were there. It is a shared driveway, however the neighbor and his family definitely did not block anything, even with 3-4 vehicles at times. There are stairs that lead up to the unit, as are almost all houses that close to the beach. The stars are sturdy and do look like a nice hardyplank. The porch is nice also, and has several chairs for enjoying a nice sea breeze. You can also currently view the ocean from the porch, and that was nice as opposed to having massive condos blocking the view. Everyone in the units across the way were also renting and completely a pleasure to spend the week around. Overall, the area itself is fantastic for families. The unit definitely could use some updates, some tlc for needed repairs, and possibly a new cleaning company. Aside from those things, we did enjoy the beach and look forward to returning to the area in a year or so.

Tried three times before getting the contact person on the phone. Theh did fix the air but it was not clean. The chair cushions outside have stains aren’t the same as in pics. The couch in the house has stains. The beds had sand in them. The comforter in the upstairs had stains. There was crumbs and nasty looking stuff in fridge. The porch railing is a safety hazard. It’s rotting and broken and several of the bars swing around. The neighbor uses almost on the underneath space and allows people to park at the end of the driveway making it difficult to back out. Even the fence that is suppose to be white is half brown/rust colored. Bathtubs were not clean. The table chair cushions look like they haven’t been cleaned in ages. Needs a lot of repair and major deep clean.

The property needs some repairs/updates. Really no usable space underneath because other side of duplex is utilizing it. Neighbor doesn't seem happy about it being rented. First interaction was him telling us to pull our two cars up closer just to make it more convenient for him to get out because he had company who parked in the middle on his side.

The outside picture of the front of this house is very misleading. It shows 5 steps going up to the front porch. There are 15. There's another whole set of 10 steps you can't see. When we drove up, my mouth just dropped open. I thought at first we were at the wrong house. My husband had had a knee replacement and we had our two little dogs with us. Going up and down all those stairs every time one of them needed to go out was a total chore. The inside was what I'd call clean I guess, but you could tell the cleaning service does the minimum. I would not recommend this house if you have dogs or have any kind of hip or knee issue. We came home a day early.

This was our 1st beach trip as a family (5yr old & 2yr old boys) and it will not be our last. We arrived just before hurricane Ida and beat the storm, so our prayers are for everyone in the Gulf right now. The house is just as advertised, clean, cozy, great location to shops and restaurants. The check-in and check-out process was seamless.
