The location was perfect for the horse show we were attending at the fairgrounds. It's a shout walk to the beach and close to several dining choices. The house is really nice and had everything we needed for our 8 day visit. We come to Del Mar once a year and plan to stay here every time.

House very comfortable and clean. Enjoyed a bottle of wine in the afternoons on back patio. Walked into Delmar for coffee each day. Close to the beach and easy access back to San Diego or beaches to the north. Loved it

We could not have asked for a better home. The property was lovely, clean and just steps from the beach. Any of the beach items we needed were provided and the host was wonderful. Will definitely stay again!

We brought so much more than we really had to because it's all there already. Easy communication and access. This place is a keeper.

We had a wonderful experience at turtle Retreat. The property management really thought of everything we could need. We didn’t need to contact them at all. Location was perfect access to beach. All the beach equipment was provided inc wagon. Very clean place. Private outdoor dining table was nice because we could buy food out and then enjoy the weather outside on the patio. I plan to contact the property managers the next time I want to book a place in San Diego.

Easy walk to the beach - very helpful to have beach toys and wagon readily available in the garage. Made everything very easy!!

This property was exactly as advertised and was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. The very close walk to the beach was fantastic and the house was stocked with anything and everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

This is our third time staying on this property and cannot say enough good things. The proximity to the beach, value, cleanliness and most importantly the superior customer service by Brenda and her team. We needed for nothing and response time and friendliness took any stress away. Recommend renting both cottages with another family.

We love how close it is to the beach and appreciate that it comes with a wagon and chairs for carting everything. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and we really like the backyard and patio.

This is a nice little beach house in a great location. Property management was very friendly and easy to work with. The house was very well appointed and came with all the beach equipment you would need! Just show up and start having fun! Would definitely stay here again.

We were staying with our 2 children (5 and 7) and were very satisfied. The bungalow is very nice; we found everything we needed including various beach articles …! The contact with Brenda was very nice and reliable; we found a personal welcome card when we arrived. Brenda offered several times personal contact if we needed anything special. On our last day we went with our rental car to LAX; Brenda suggested to calculate with 3 hours to get to the Airport. Her calculation was right since there were no severe traffic problems. We loved Del Mar very much because it is very quiet. As we went to Pacific Beach last year which is quite a party location we enjoyed our quiet and easy Holiday very much this year. Very close in Via de la Valle we found "Farmer's Market" - grocery store with everything we needed including very good coffee…. In the next Village Solana Beach were nice Restaurants ( our favorite "Bankok Bay": authentic Thai Cuisine with very friendly staff;also good but simple "Rubio's": Taco Restaurant) The beach is only a one-minute-walk away… great! Conclusion: we just loved it and want to come back!

I was my pleasure to find all clean. It was really easy to check in and start to enjoy the place right away. Everything that you may need is really close to the bungalow such as good restaurants, beach and walks. It is a quiete place that make easy to rest. Highly recommended. Ejoy!

The Turtles retreat was absolutely perfect for us. We had two adults and an infant. Brenda set us up with a portable crib for our little one. The location could not be better. We walked everywhere; to a nice dinner with a sunset view and to simple lunch in Del Mar. We have a lot of friends in San Diego County and they all chose to come meet us and go for walks and play on the beach because the location is so perfect. If you surf, it is easy to walk and check the waves before heading out. It is not the best break in the world, but 25th street is a pretty nice beach break. 15th Ave is an easy walk with your board if you want something a little better. The garage full of toys was awesome, our little one and some friends kids had a blast playing right on the lawn in front of the house. We cannot wait to come back.
