The location and property was great! Just what we needed for a 3 night stay!

The location was perfect, my family and I really enjoyed ourselfs.

This property owner really cares about her guest. The property is perfect for families however it is on the strip so it can get loud. We loved hearing the music and opened our windows. She went out of her way to make sure my teens could reheat there food and got us a microwave ❤️. She is 100 percent the best host we have food.

So glad we could all be together! Really enjoyed staying in the cottage & will stay there again!

Karen’s house was perfect for our family vacation with friends. We stayed for a week mid-August with four adults and four kids ranging from 18 months to 13 years old. The house was in the best location: walk down the road to the private beach (shared with the neighboring houses) or to the strip (the length of a long driveway, not far at all). It was so nice to not have to pack everyone up in the cars to enjoy the lake or the strip. The beach is located down a kind of steep hill so if people in your party have mobility limitations, that is something to consider. The house was super clean when we arrived and the linens were also fresh and clean. The bedrooms were on the small side but the common areas were spacious enough for all 8 of us. Just note that the houses are close together here so if you’re looking for privacy this might not be the rental for you. There weren’t that many people around on the weekdays though, and everyone we ran into was super nice. We were comfortable and felt safe in the location. We had a great vacation here! If we come back to GOTL we would have no problem choosing Karen’s house again.

Karen was an excellent host. She was always available to answer questions and contacted me days in advance to confirm the trip. The property is a great location for all the strip activities. The small, private beach access was perfect for enjoying the lake. The weekend nights were a bit loud with the live music from the strip, but it did not bother us.

Very cute. The online description was on point. The cottage was just steps away from the lake and the strip. It was a peaceful location, within walking distance of cute shops and cafés. We really enjoyed our vacation here.

Cute cottage with a great location on the strip. The little beach was nice, we walked to the playground on the strip many times and did all the strip stuff! You can hear the bands very well, and we knew that going in so we took sound machines for the little ones to sleep with, which worked out great! We enjoyed the dining area for family meals, watching the Indians (going to take me a minute to get on board with Guardians) relaxing in the living room and board games in the front porch! Kitchen had everything needed (maybe a new set of cookie sheets), bedrooms and bathrooms were all ample size. Karen was very easy to work with! We enjoyed it and would recommend and stay again!

The only thing that could have been better would be to have had two showers instead of one shower and one bathtub. My dad hit his head off the cape cod ceiling getting out of it. You just have to be careful.

So dirty! Dried feces in toilets, urine everywhere, dead bugs by the hundreds on every windowsill, filthy refrigerator, dirty linens! CROOKED FLOORS! It goes on & on! We left after 1 night & still did not receive all of our money back. BUYER BEWARE

My family has been staying in GOTL for 15 years for holiday weekends but not near the strip. Wow how I feel we’ve missed out. This property was perfect! Location perfect! Impeccably clean and the process was so simple. 10/10 would recommend!!

We rented this property with my sister-in-law and her family. We really enjoyed being so close to the strip. It was great to be able to walk out the door, as opposed to fighting traffic and worrying about parking. We loved the sunporch. The kitchen was a bit cramped for two families with kids, but our stay wasn’t long so it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience. I would absolutely stay here again.

The front sunroom was a bright area for morning coffee. Just a few steps away is the lake one way and the strip another. Would definitely recommend this property!

Everything worked, air conditioning, grill, hot water tank and etc. It was close to everything and the accommodations were in good condition.
