The unit is likely the best location on the island. Less than a block to the grocery, two drugstores, great coffee in the am, restaurants in the pm, late night bites and plenty of entertainment. The space was luxurious and the furnishings very comfortable. There is a second unit just as large or latger behind it so you can bring an army. So glad i stayed here

What a gem! This property is amazing. The location, the layout, the balconies overlooking Duval street, and the furnishing couldn’t have been more perfect. Added bonus is the shaded pool tucked in back yard to cool off and relax after a busy day touring around the island. Would stay here again for sure.

Great stay and the location could not be better. The pool was perfect and was actually a little larger than it appeared in the photos. Our host was very responsive to questions and was able to deliver a couple of things we needed promptly. We loved sitting out on the balcony and listening to live music from the venue next door. The only thing we would have liked better is direct access to Duval St. without having to walk around the block.

We had a great week but Willie T's next door was so loud with music and screaming, followed by the morning garbage cleanup on the sidewalk below. The upstairs back bedroom was a bit quieter but it was still loud most nights. The pictures accurately showed the property, the kitchen had everything we needed and the location was convenient.

Great stay, rental was all we could have hoped for. We had extra guests and the property owner went out of his way to accommodate. Relatively quiet section of Duval but action very close walking distance. Shops, restaurants, music all within a few minutes. Home was spacious for 10 guests to spread out and not be on top of each other. Many decks off to all sides to hang out. Prior reviews speak of noise from street but we found generally quiet by midnight on most nights but we thought the music from Willie Ts below was awesome to fall asleep to. The pool was a bonus coming back to on a hot afternoon or after partying late into the night I would definitely rent again. Ty Mark for a great first key west experience.

This is our second time at Mark's place. Mark was always super responsive in communication, and great to work with. We stayed for a week during our Spring break. The location is among the best you will find in Key West. The front of the property is right on Duval where you can people watch and take in the live music from next door; while the back with the pool feels like a secluded paradise. As other reviews have stated, the music at Willie T's can be loud late into the night, but ear plugs and a white noise machine easily take care of that, and if you have kids just put them in the back upstairs bedroom and they won't hear a thing. Overall, a great stay, and somewhere we will stay on our next Key West visit.

We had a great time staying here. The location was perfect to walk any which direction in Key West. The plunge pool was warm and refreshing after walking around all day. You can hear music from Willie T’s all day and it’s louder on Friday and Saturday nights. The property does have quality sound machines in each room to block out the sound. This wasn’t a problem for us because we were expecting it based on the property description. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. We had one problem while staying there and Mark responded immediately and had the problem addressed same day.

First… hands down an awesome location! Can walk everywhere and no need for a car or golf cart as long as you are able and mobile.
Yes, it is next door to Willy T’s and it is loud, so if you are a light sleeper this may not be for you. We used the supplied sound machine, box fan and ear plugs and slept very well through it all. The location was that good, it made up for the noise!!
We loved the balcony off the master bedroom, sat and people watched for hours and listened to all the sounds and sights Duval has to offer.
The pool was also a highlight. After walking around all day it was great to take a dip and relax. It was quite warm, which we enjoyed, but did ask the owner to turn down a few degrees, which was not an issue to have done.
The kitchen is beautiful and pretty well stocked. The condo has plenty of room for 3 couples to congregate and also have their own space when wanted, with the spacious living room and 3 other deck areas.
A couple minor maintenance issues that were addressed promptly with good communication.
Overall great stay, great location and we look forward to staying again!

Such a cool spot, we only wish we had more time to enjoy all the beautiful balcony’s and the pool! Great location, with the best pizza and coffee & breakfast spot right around the corner not mention being right on duval. We can’t wait to come back!!

The Duval Penthouse was "as advertised". Music from Willie T's next door typically finished between 12 midnight and 1 am. So overall, out stay was good. What wasn't as anticipated (and this was primarily for the master suite which is right along Duval) every morning between 4 am and 5 am, delivery trucks, trash trucks and street sweepers created almost constant noise. It was actually much worse than the Willie T ratings in my opinion.
Many might consider this next comment to be nit-picky, but there were several things that I expected to be better:
- Several light bulbs were burned out and we replaced them
- During one rain the ceiling in the kitchen started dripping on the floor - we contacted Mark, but got no response
- Master toilet is extremely difficult to flush
- Electrical switches are extremely difficult to figure out and would suggest labels of some sort
That's it. Overall, we had a great time and I'm sure you will too!

If you want to be in the middle of the action in Key West, this is the perfect place. You are right in the middle of Duval and a short walk to so many great spots off of Duval. We endured Hurricane Ian, but Mark and his staff were really responsive. Willy T’s right next door was so much fun. The house itself was terrific…the pictures didn’t disappoint. We enjoyed the pool and the roof deck. Gas stove was huge while the power was out during the storm. We miss it already…we will definitely be back!

Listing wasn’t accurate with parking. Car should be parked at 522 IN FRONT OF THE GARAGE. Both spots in front t of the garage were already taken for 4 days. Unit is above a dispensary….if you don’t like the smell of weed, don’t stay here. Also, bar with a band is next door. Music is blasting (you can’t hear the television in the master bedroom😂)….if you want to stay awake till 1:40-2:00 am, stay here, if not…don’t do it Overall, not a place to stay if your chill, stay by the pier or one of the side streets far away from Duval.

Great Location
We really enjoyed our trip to Key West. The penthouse was closed to everything. The pool was relaxing and the home had everything we needed for our stay. The bar next door wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porches and listening to the live music. Mark was very easy to contact and took care of things quickly. I would definitely go back again.

Location Location Location! Penthouse in Paradise!
Check in process was fast & efficient - Mark is easy going and very responsive. The condo is huge - larger than expected - and the furnishings are all well taken care of and updated. Kitchen was a dream - as was the front balcony. We felt like Duval came to us! One of our issues was the sliding doors - none of them opened & shut easily - and some did not shut at all. During the early stages of the storm we could hear wind whistling thru the doors that would not latch. All the blinds facing the back of the house, the pulls are taped together - but still functioning. The photos online show much different outdoor furniture than what was there when we arrived. Three chairs on the front porch for a party of 4. The seating set on the side porch was replaced with an outdoor sofa with cushions that were covered in mold and useless during our stay. Minor issues, however, wanted to mention them so the next renter isn't as surprised as we were. Security wise - we always felt safe during our stay - these small issues did not in anyway take away from our amazing stay at the Duval Penthouse. Wait - did I mention the amazing pool?? just a cherry on top!

Great location right in the heart of Key West right on Duval Street. Grocery half block away with everything. Music is loud at night but we knew that going in. You can walk almost everywhere from this place making it an ideal spot if you are on the go. We had a great time!

Great property, great location! We traveled with a group of friends and this rental became the central meeting place. We enjoyed group meals, pool time and hanging out watching the action on Duval. Front bedroom was loud but we planned ahead with earplugs and slept fine in the comfortable king sized bed. Would rent here again!

Perfect location
What’s great week! You could not ask for a more perfect location. We did not rent a car and never needed one. We thought we might rent a golf cart but didn’t even need that. We walked everywhere. Beaches, shops, restaurants, bakeries, bars, museums,…..everything was wishing a 10 minute walk. Oh, the the grocery store was right across the street!!
The penthouse Lived up to the pictures. Rooftop deck was the Only one within sight. Every bedroom with its own outdoor space. Just Perfect!!! And Marc was a gracious and attentive host!! 5 Stars!! Thanks Marc!!!

Parties most of the night on Duval st. We expected it so we were not bothered by it, ear plugs or buds are nice. The accommodations were very nice, we truly enjoyed the patio and the pool. My only complaint is the sliding doors are very hard to open and close. Beautifully decorated and welcoming.

Its a stay in paradise.
This is our third stay at this property, we love it. We love being next to Willie T's, we sit on the front balconey and listen to music and watch people. We love being on Duval. There were 5 of us and we have alot of room to spread out. The front bedroom can be noisy but my husband and I stay there it doesn't bother us. Will be back.
