Nach dem Eintritt durch das private Tor Eisen Holz, werden Sie durch Glas Französisch Türen zum Wohnbereich passieren. Hier finden Sie eine Gourmet-Küche, komplett mit Edelstahl-Geräte finden, die einen Gasherd, Weinkühlschrank enthält, und eine Spülmaschine und schöne Betonplatten mit Meerglaseinlagen. Es gibt eine formale Esstisch für 8 und 3 Zähler nach oben Barhockern. Aus der Küche das große Zimmer mit hohen Decken ist, Holzböden und gemauerten Wänden, ist dies der perfekte Ort, um Lounge und beobachten die Brandung kommen oder sich entspannen und einen Film auf dem großen Flachbild-Fernseher zu sehen. Neben den vielen Stühlen und Sofas, gibt es auch einen großen Tagesbett, ideal für ein Nickerchen oder als zusätzlicher Schlafbereich dienen. Es gibt eine Auswahl an Bücher und Spiele, die Sie zu helfen, die Zeit als auch passieren. Das Esszimmer hat Glas bi-Falttüren, die auf die überdachte Veranda und epische Blick auf das Meer eröffnen. Chad was outstanding. He immediately answered text and great overview of the property.
Our large family stayed for 8 nights in mid-october ‘22. All bedrooms were occupied and we cooked atleast 6/8 night. Ill start with the negatives.
The parking and accessibility of the property. Each time you pull into the drive someone has to get out of the vehicle, manually open and close the gate. Then you must attempt an 11 point turn to somehow back into the small slab of concrete assigned to the rental- without hitting the neighbors jeep parked purposely in the middle of the driveway, and without taking out the automatic gate that encloses the rental property. We had 2 vans, so getting them both parked (and closing the gate, was not going to happen!)
The pics on vrbo are not recent. There is no fireplace in the MB. You get to stare at a slab of particle board instead.
There are visible tears in the carpet & the blankets were old, thin, and had holes in them.
The outdoor furniture was in pretty bad shape & a chair snapped off from the base it was so rusted.
There is only 1 bathroom on the main level to be shared by 5 beds. The shower curtain and shower head do not contain water at all.
The AC is not what you would expect. There are small units in each bdr & take a while to cool, but are much better than the 1 single unit in the main living area ( used to cool living room, kitchen, and dining room) a much larger unit is needed to really be able to say the entire house has AC.
This house is better listed as water front -not beach front. There is NO sitting on this beach and I most certainly would NEVER let inexperienced swimmers or young children play on the beach, much less get in the water. The current is VERY strong and the burritos and sandbags used to inhibit erosion are EXTREMELY slippery. Be very careful.
Positives- the lanai and the views are breathtaking. The kitchen is nice and has most everything u need to cook (spices are outdated). There is enough seating and the outdoor shower has hot water. 2 refrigerators make it nice for storing extra food and drinks. Plenty of towels and beach equipment. (No coolers though!) it’s quiet and neighbors are nice and like to talk. Overall we probably wouldn’t rent again because of the very limited beach access. 22k is too high to drive to another beach everyday. But it is a lovely home and if you arent beach people its the perfect spot for you!

Maybe I read the description wrong, but, it would have been nice to state at times there would be no beach to take the stairs down to due to high tide and rocks with little sand at low tide. We are used to staying at houses where there is an actual beach area outside the door. The picture was deceiving as we all thought this was what we would step out to. Other than that we had a nice stay at this house. Good family time.

The property is beautiful, and well-maintained. The caretaker is outstanding and resolved any issues immediately. He was there to welcome us, and show us around. The beach shown in picture #2 does not exist! We stayed in mid-August, and there is no safe way to access the beach; there must have been damage to the rocks and concrete, so you must walk over dangerous rubble to get access to the ocean. once you get down there, its rocky, and extremely slippery, with waves that make it dangerous. You have to get on the street, and walk ten minutes to a sandy beach. Also, the driveway to the property was too narrow for the family van; we had to park it in the street. The gate to the property breaks down often, and needs to be fixed for safety of occupants. Otherwise, the house was great, and well-equipped. ARM

The only issue we had was the wi-fi, it wasn't working and since we had international family with us, it was a problem. They eventually got it working on the next to last day of our stay. Other than that, it was a great house and I would stay again.

House on the Ocean
We loved the property and closeness to the ocean and very near all our activities! The house was spacious and I loved hearing the ocean. There was plenty of everything like boogie boards and bicycles and plenty of space for our 11 people. There were plenty of beach towels but not enough regular bath towels and that was the only thing wrong and easily fixed. We loved the place and would suggest any family go there and enjoy! So spacious and beautiful!

The property was as advertised. The drive from the street was very narrow. We were in a full sized suv and a 4 door jeep pickup. I would say if you want a city atmosphere this not for you. It is a beach area and is a great location for all the world renowned beaches ( sunset beach banzai pipeline and Waimea bay with the great jumping rock ) no complaints in our group of 11. Great for beach goers. Great rear deck for relaxing and watching awesome sunsets

This was a trip of a lifetime for my family. We live in Southern California so are used to the beach but nothing compared to the North Shore. We surfed and snorkeled in front of the house as well as other local beaches. The house was fantastic and accommodated our large group. Everyone said they wanted to stay longer and no one wanted to leave. Our host Chad gave us a tour and explained all the details of the house. We went on adventures daily but the best was star gazing on the deck at night. Perfect vacation spot. We would definitely book again

The house has a beautiful deck overlooking the ocean, a stairway down to the beach and all the chairs and toys you need to enjoy yourself. Kids used the bikes to go to Ted’s and the Sunrise Shack for breakfast. Property is close to Haleiwa, Waimea and Kuhuku and all the beautiful beaches. Nice central location. Chad, our property manager, was a dream to work with. We would definitely rent here again. Don’t miss this gem!

The house has a beautiful deck overlooking the ocean, a stairway down to the beach and all the chairs and toys you need to enjoy yourself. Kids used the bikes to go to Ted’s and the Sunrise Shack for breakfast. Property is close to Haleiwa, Waimea and Kuhuku and all the beautiful beaches. Nice central location.

Family Paradise on Sunset Beach
The Blue Mahina was everything we had hoped for as a Family (9 Adults and 2 young Grandchildren) to celebrate my 60th Birthday. The property came fully decked out staple foods, beach towels and beach toys and cruiser bikes, etc, etc, and felt like a real Home away from Home. An absolutely amazing location coupled with a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ and fridge made catering and entertaining a delight. Would stay here again in the blink of an eye. We wish to convey our personal thanks to the Property Owners for sharing their Home with us and Property Managers for contributing to a Very Special Holiday. Loved it. Cheers. Mick

Amazing Property...Highly Recommend!!
I rented this house for an executive meeting retreat. Despite the professional nature of the trip, this property was exceptional. The layout of the house is conducive to the incredible view. 180 degree view from sunset to rocky point. Beautiful. The house had an authentic homely warmth to it and the privacy we were looking for. Additionally the property managers were extremely easy to deal with and responsive to all requests and questions.

This rental was right on the beach. Beach access was NOT as the photographs suggested. Very Streep and dangerous. On the lanai looking at the ocean you could smell sewage everyday. House was large and accommodating but it was not cleaned properly before we came. Screens were filthy dirty, and the windows had not been touched in weeks. Cleaner came back and vacuumed the screen, but that did very little to clean them properly. It would have made the house way cooler.

A wonderful find! We had a lovely relaxing stay away from crowds and noise. We were a group of seven adults and one baby and we were all quite comfortable with the accommodations. The house had a warm and inviting feel to it. Like a home away from home. Very welcoming with everything you would need. The beach was great, The sunsets fabulous. Food trucks near by. Bikes and bike path were fun. It was warm in July but plenty of fans were provided. Only thing I would recommend is an umbrella for the deck and new beach chairs. A beautiful part of Oahu to visit. Property management was friendly and helpful from the beginning of the process to the end. Thank you!

Thanks so much to the concierge service that Rachel provided. She had excellent recommendations and made arrangements with Windy who stocked the kitchen with her shopper services. Chad the property manager was there to greet us with lights and fans on! These things made our arrival especially welcoming. The property was exactly as shown and expected. The parking was a bit tricky for our van, but Chad showed us the trick and it was smooth sailing after that. We had a jammed packed week from whale watching from the patio deck, seeing a monk seal resting directly on our beach. Quick drives to Turtle Bay resort for a round of spectacular golf, kayaking with the turtles, snorkeling, and surf lessons. Then down the road to the Polynesian Cultural Center for a wonderful luau and beautiful theater show (we did these things over a period of 3 days). A 30 minute drive from the Blue Mahina home we toured Pearl Harbor. The film and tours were enjoyed and discussed many times since. Wait we didn't stop there to finish out our trip we visited Foodland the Grocery store purchased supplies for steak dinner barbecue on the deck including grilled pineapple from the Dole Plantation! The Blue Mahina is centrally located so we could jam pack so much into our one weeks stay and still have plenty of down time on the deck watching not only the ocean but also the stars at night! The Blue Mahina was perfect for 2 families! Beach is right out the back door, patio is an amazing place to tan and hang out, and the waves can be heard from every bedroom! Highly recommend!

The location was wonderful but the interior was dirty. The futon that was in the living area was stained and dirty with a large white spot on the cover. A call was placed on arrival day ( Friday) to the rental company( Chad) and they came over that Saturday and tried to spot clean the area but the white spot the size of soft ball was still visible. We requested that the cover to be taken off and clean and the company refused to do this. Instead they brought over a sheet and placed it over the futon. This happen while we where gone so a returned phone call was placed and it was explained that this was the area that we where playing with and hanging with a 6 month old child. On Sunday the following day and they came over took off the sheet and the futon cover and placed a sheet with a blanket over the pad. Also on arrive day ( Friday ) the tub in the downstairs bathroom was not draining and could not be used to take showers in. A call was placed to the rental company and they came and used draino to try and unclog the drain. Late Saturday evening the drain was clogged again and phone call was placed the the rental company. They stated that a plumber would come on Sunday afternoon to fix the drain. Plummer did not come by on Sunday at stated time and when we spoke with the rental company they stated he had canceled and suggested the we start using the outdoor shower. I replied we rented the property with 3 indoor full bathrooms and that is what is expected. A apology was given and we where told that a plumber might be out late Monday due to the holiday. He came on Monday afternoon so we where without full use of the shower for 3 1/2 days, We paid more than $1000 day for this property expected it to be in top shaped to have our concerns to be treated with respect and prompt service. I would like to talk with somebody about a partial refund due to not have the shower/dirty futon not working properly as paid for.

The Blue Mahina exceeded all expectations. We had 3 generations together for a major birthday and Thanksgiving celebration, and everyone, from 7 to 70, had the vacation of a lifetime. The house and location were ideal as a relaxing getaway, the view and beachfront were breathtaking, and the property manager was very helpful and responsive.

My family and three guests (8 adults) had a wonderful vacation at Blue Mahina. The pictures truly represent what the house looks like. It's gracious, well-appointed and the view from the deck is fabulous. The sunsets are the stuff of picture post cards. The kitchen has all the amenities. It's a short walk to Sunset Beach and there's a safe entry into the ocean at the public access point a couple of houses up. You can walk down to the beach from the steps in front of the house, but it's safer to swim away from the rocky bottom. We rode the bikes to Ted's Bakery (fabulous!) and it's a quick drive to Shark's Cove for snorkeling and amazing food trucks. It was about 45-50 minute drive from the airport - easy driving access to lots of things to see - The Dole Plantation, coffee plantation, snorkeling, beach walking and an easy trip to Honolulu for the war museum experience. Chad was extremely helpful during our stay and made sure that all of our needs were well taken care of. It was a bucket list trip for me - but if I had a chance, I would definitely return.

The house was perfect for our party of 8. Plenty of open space, nicely decorated with a beautiful view of sunset beach. The check in/out was very easy and the property manager was very helpful and accommodating with a couple of small requests that we had. Anyone planning to stay on the north shore should take look at this house. We all had an excellent time staying there.

The house is beautiful, just like the photos. Beach and views are amazing too. Chad was on hand to meet us and totally available when we had questions. We stayed there with our extended family...6 adults and 4 kids. The house was perfect and we will go back again.

We loved the house! It was insanely beautiful. The views are unbeatable and there is nothing like hearing the ocean lull you to sleep! The gates were a bit of an issue but everyone was very helpful and the location is absolutely amazing as welL!
