We visited Turks with our two small children and had an amazing time.
This villa is beautiful. Most of it is “open air” meaning you walk into the front entry way which is technically outside. The living spaces and bedrooms are closed areas but have tons of windows with screens so it’s amazing to feel fresh air everywhere you go. (Don’t worry, there’s also A/C if you choose to use it).
The view is spectacular no matter where you are—living room, hammock, infinity pool, bedroom. Even the landscaping around the house is tropical and fun.
The check in process was easy. Hosts are responsive to your needs. We found all the amenities we could need for our trip from linens, toiletries, to fully stocked kitchen, beach toys and chairs etc.
It’s easy to drive places from the Villa. There’s a beautiful beach 2mins away and honestly we drove to a new beach most days to explore. So much to see and do but nothing beats coming home to this place.
Our kids enjoyed the books, puzzles, games, wooden train track and pool toys, a nice little bonus to keep them entertained. They also loved to feed the fish in the indoor pond every morning.
We cooked a few times at the house and the kitchen is very nice. We also grilled fresh fish on the outside grill which is top notch as well.
Make sure you pack bug spray then enjoy the outdoors! It’s spectacular! I highly recommend this property.

Great house with a million dollar view. Well equipped kitchen and pool are fantastic. I was worried about AC and water usage but we only needed the AC at night. My only knock is not on the property itself. We found it difficult to know where public beach access was to all the beaches. Maybe provide a map or listing of where the public can access all the beautiful beaches on the island. Towards our last of 8 days there we had found access to most of them but it was a bit of a hunt. I would also recommend the other 2 smaller studio and cottage houses on the property if you have a smaller group

We stayed here for 7 days. Absolutely beautiful home! It was like our own little resort. Everything you need to feel right at home. We cooked lovely meals, enjoyed the pool & the amazing view. It truly was a dream trip.

We just spent 9 days here. Big shout out to Alison, the manager. She responds to texts instantly and was always very pleasant and helpful.
The house is pretty much as advertised. It has an interesting open-air design which is both a plus and a minus. When there are sufficient breezes, the living space feels very comfortable. However, when it’s humid and there’s no air movement the living room and kitchen area become quite unpleasant with no air conditioning. Bugs were not an issue though.
The house itself is extremely clean, however the living room sofa and chair have a lot of stains and are tired looking. The patio furniture is also discolored and in need of replacement. The pool area has a large shaded section which is perfect for those who don’t want direct sun. It’s a fantastic layout.
The location is excellent on Turtle Tail, our favorite area of the island. The property is quiet for the most part, however it’s possible to hear the conversations of the neighbors at the adjacent guest house on the property as the pool areas are not far apart.
Based on all this, probably would not stay here again.

We loved our stay at Sunrise Ridge. The view is as advertised…just breathtaking. The pool was just the right temp, the outdoor areas are great. Lots of time lounging in the hammock. Great kitchen, and outdoor cooking area too. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Alison and Teri were very attentive and helpful too.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house and the view were just as beautiful as pictured. The kitchen was well appointed. Allison was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. The only downside to this property was the lack of water pressure in the shower, but we quickly adjusted given how great everything else was.

The setting of this home is exceptional! We woke up with the sun, swimming laps in the pool. We visited several beaches, snorkeled, and enjoyed home cooked meals in the incredible kitchen. I still miss the stove/oven.
Our favorite beach was Smith’s Beach. The fish fry on Thursdays was all the rave but we thought it was just okay 😂
The house is incredible. We loved the open breezeways and never got hot at night. You are near satellite guest houses so if you have a loud family, keep it down a notch!

This is a case of: trust the photos. This place was terrific.
Is the view really that good? It is: 180-degree views of the south coast from one of the higher ridges on the island, with water shifting from stunning turquoise to deeper shades of blue. You're not looking at high-rise hotels or tourists competing for beach space: just a few lovely villas and greenery in the foreground, then all those miles of ocean beyond.
Is the pool as refreshing as it looks? Definitely: it's a good-sized infinity-edge pool with a large 3-4ft area friendly to your smaller family members, and a deeper 6ft section that lends itself easily to lap swimming (or, if you're like us, floating).
Is the house comfortable? Absolutely. The deck offers tons of sunshine, 4 deck chairs, a large dining table and chairs, and a shaded area w/outdoor couch and hammock. The main living area has a well-appointed kitchen and a living room w/comfy couches and a large smart TV (no cable, but apps are accessible). The sleeping space includes 2 smaller downstairs bedrooms w/baths, and 1 larger master bedroom/bath upstairs.
The location? A super-safe neighborhood of villas, 10 mins from a great US-style grocery store, 20ish mins from the airport or Grace Bay.
Is it perfect? Of course not. Like everywhere in the Caribbean, water scarcity is real—so get ready to think long and hard about every flush, shower, and washed dish. Shower water pressure isn't great, either.
But is it a great choice? 100% yes. No regrets.

We thoroughly enjoyed this home. The views are breathtaking. We loved the kitchen as well as the outdoor grill and space to enjoy our morning coffee and grill our fresh fish caught on our charter. We loved stopping by Bob’s on our way home. This home is located on a road with beautiful properties. We loved the private beach which we drove to below the home. Hope to be back soon!!!

Great home for a family vacation! The views were spectacular and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. This was a great spot for our family vacation. We rented a car and this was very central to many of the local beaches, grocery store and restaurants. We enjoyed the outdoor space and the open air feel that the property has to give you a true Caribbean experience! Highly recommended for families and friends. They provided many amenities that we enjoyed; outdoor grill, snorkel equipment and some chairs for the beach. Bob's Bar is right down the road and was a fun spot to hang out in the evenings. We'll definitely be back to T&C!

The views from this house are amazing. It offers elevated views that are just beautiful. Bedrooms were situated well, with master upstairs and 2BR 2 bath (can be attached) downstairs. We absolutely loved it, would return to this house, and would recommend anyone to stay here.

The property is extremely beautiful. The views are unbeatable. Allison was phenomenal at communicating with me before and during our time at her property. We were there with our 5 kids ranging in ages from 10 months to 23 years. For our older kids it was great because they had their own space. With the younger ones I was worried about the open layout and pool area, but all was fine.
Note that the living area is completely separate from the bedrooms. This would have been a more enjoyable experience for us if there was air conditioning in the living room/kitchen. At night we wanted to have family time because the pool was cold and bugs were out, but it was nearly impossible due to needing to leave doors open for air flow/battling heat/bugs. But, we still had great time! The wind was more significant on our trip which made it chilly on the ridge, but was not a deterrent from enjoying our time, just made the pool chilly.
The small beach Allison told us about MADE OUR TRIP. We had the whole beach to ourselves and we LOVED IT. Super great for our 2 year old who could walk out into the water and not be crushed by waves.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and that small beach will forever hold a special place in my family's heart! Thank you, Allison!

Our family stayed at this amazing home and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The views were absolutely incredible (even better than the pictures), the house was perfect and the location was exactly what we were looking for. We're SO glad we didn't choose a resort! The drive to Grace Bay was very easy and we enjoyed visiting but we were always happy to come back to our own private villa.

This is a beautiful and well managed property. Communication with the property manager was superb. Taking in sublime views, while in the luxurious pool is indescribable. Another amazing feature is just how well stocked and equipped the property is. This will not disappoint you at all.

We loved our stay at the Sunset Ridge and would highly recommend. The set up of the villa was perfect for our family of 5. The views were amazing and the pool was refreshing. You will need to rent a car and we had no issues with Grace Bay Rentals. The bout tour with Captain Josh was also recommended by the Hosts and we had a great time. You will need to drive to the beach with Grace Bay and Leeward as our favorites. There is also a small beach about a mile down the road that was nice with very calm and warm waters. The IGA grocery is about a 12 minute drive and is well stocked but expensive. We brought our own frozen meat in a carry on cooler and that worked out well.

Truly magical
Spectacular views will leave you speechless. The villa was so lovely but also felt very comfortable- just really good energy and vibes filling the space. We enjoyed the private beach every evening before dinner to swim and catch the sunset. Just breathtaking. We cooked breakfast and a few dinners in the kitchen and on the grill. The villa had everything you could want. We did add some extras to the spice rack for others to enjoy. :)
We will be back that’s for certain!

The outdoor covered seating area is a nice place to hang out to stay out if the sun. There is a water cooler for drinking water . You can fill the 5 gallon water at various places for $2 much cheaper than bottled water in the grocery store . We went to Bob’s bar twice and highly recommend it especially on Wednesdays for the live music. You will not be disappointed staying here .

This villa is better than the pictures portray. The property had plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out. We enjoyed plenty of time at the pool and cooked a few meals in that fantastic kitchen. They did think of everything. We can't thank you enough for sharing your home with us. The views truly are breathtaking. We miss it already!

Our first time in Turks & Caicos
This villa is even better in person if you can imagine! The views are spectacular! Allison was such a great host by answering all my questions promptly and was there to greet us when we arrived. Since the villa is on top of a hill the breezes were perfect and allowed us to not use the air conditioner. The location is perfect because it’s kind of in the middle of everything and far enough away to feel less hectic. I would definitely recommend a rental car. Since the villa is open air, we did see some critters but that was to be expected and we didn’t mind. We actually miss hearing the sounds of the frogs from the pond now that we are home. This villa was perfect for our family and we loved our first trip to beautiful Turks & Caicos!

The pictures don’t come close to the breathtaking views from the outdoor area. BREATH TAKING. Hanging out in the infinity pool and soaking up the sun and view. Take advantage of the gourmet kitchen. Our boys loved congregating at the kitchen island. We brought food for the outside grill. We also went to the local IGA to pick up more groceries. Super convenient and close by. Tons of spices for cooking, we added to collection too :) There is W&D so we went home with all clean clothes. Everything else was an easy 15-20min drive, Grace Bay, Conch Shack, Sapodilla Bay. You can’t beat being a central point!
Note, the sleeping quarters and bathrooms are separate from living room & kitchen. But it didn’t hinder our stay! There are 2 bedrooms on main flr that were adjoining so it was perfect for us and the kids. AC did it’s job on less windy days. Did I mention the infinity pool, and the slide?! Our kids were super bummed about leaving and asked when we would return!

Best Property We've Every Stayed In
Better than advertised. We woke up for the stunning sunrise view every day. There's a private beach less than a mile away. Take advantage of the gourmet kitchen and grill. Allison is incredibly responsive and helpful. Beach towels, floats, beach chairs, Netflix, everything is provided! Thanks to Sunrise Ridge, we had a PERFECT vacation. We cannot recommend this property highly enough.

A+ vacation for my 40th bday
This was an idyllic setting for my husband and I, as well as my sister and cousin and their spouses. Hacienda style home felt open/airy yet safe and private. Manager was friendly and responsive. Very few downsides that were no big deal (water temp/pressure, grouchy guests at neighboring property) . The positives were endless— Super fun pool/slide, beautiful breeze, great kitchen with a lot of different spices, Plush beach towels and extra sunscreen provided, easy to operate TV. My suggestion would be to bring your own Bluetooth speaker which we did and enjoyed poolside tunes. Also thought the Guest manual provided before check-in was super helpful and detailed. Highly recommend!

Only suggestion is updated mattresses (the queens) for both of the main house downstairs bedrooms- pool was clean and refreshing-water slide. Close the screens at dusk and there are no bugs in the living spaces Alison is down to earth and very accommodating. Boat trip with her son Josh with wake boarding in Donna’s cut was a great time!

This property is incredible. The views are even better than they are in the photos. The house is beautiful and being set on a ridge gives way for a great look.
The house is centrally located on the island which makes for ease of travel. We were no more than 15 minutes from anything we wanted to do. The grocery store is just down the road as is The Wine Cellar for more reasonable prices on alcohol.
Alison was very responsive. She was full of tips and suggestions of places to go, companies to use, and more.
I highly recommend booking this property for your next visit, I promise you won’t regret it! We can’t wait to go back!

The house was wonderful. It easily fit our group of seven adults. The property was everything as described in the listing. The property manager was very helpful and flexible. Highly recommend staying here.
