Please believe me that the pictures do not do this property justice! The property is perfect for all occasions. The amenities, decorations and attention to details are incredible. Although we weren’t able to enjoy the outside areas due to the bitter cold and heavy snowfall, the inside of the lodge is more than large enough keep everyone of all ages entertained. From the bar/game room to the large theatre room to the dream kitchen and all the seatings areas, everyone always had something to do and the space never felt small. Thank you Barb for opening your lovely home to our family and allowing us to create these amazing lifelong memories. Mahalo nui loa from the Ho’okala Ohana.

Our family just spent 4 amazing nights here! We loved everything about it. It is even more amazing than what you see in the photos. We took advantage of the hot tub, both outdoor fire pits, played pool, golf out front, the movie theater, the bar, etc. Kitchen was fully stocked. Every room was magically decorated for Christmas. Spent lots of time catching up as a family and relaxing by the fire place. River views were lovely! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us!!

It’s our fourth stay in this exquisite luxury home, and it always marks the beginning of the most wonderful time of the year for us. The attention to detail throughout the house is truly remarkable, making it a place of sheer beauty and comfort. Countless family memories have been created here, and we cherish each one. Barbara is an exceptional host, and we eagerly anticipate this trip every year.

Honestly words cannot express just how wonderful our week experience was. It was everything that we had hoped for and it was actually over the top. There was something for everyone to do and enjoy from a 2 year old and a5 and 9 year old as well as all of us older folks 😊. The hosts thought of anything and everything one would need while staying in their home.. This was definitely a holiday of a lifetime and just a fantastic way to celebrate our 50th anniversary.
This property is a 5star exceptional . We will cherish these memories forever .

The property is in a beautiful location right on the river. The lodge itself is gorgeous, full of character with an attention to detail that shows true pride of ownership. It was spotless, roomy, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay: extremely comfortable beds, plenty of dishes, glasses and barware of all types, cookware, and utensils, wine storage, multiple coffeemakers, lawn games, a heated back deck with an amazing view of the river, and much more.
The owners were always very quick to respond to questions and requests.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return sometime to this gem of a location. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!

5 couples and 2 singles - we’ve known each other for 45+ years and get together every year to celebrate friendship. This was the most amazing place to gather and share time together.
There are not really words to describe how amazing this home is. The owners have thought of every detail. It is absolutely a must stay for any group.

What a perfect place to gather our whole family! The lodge is beautiful and spacious and so much care has gone into all the details. The river is picturesque and the property is expansive with so many activities and places to gather. We had fun going into town, floating down the river, taking the kids horseback riding, and exploring the area, but the Grand River Lodge is what made this trip truly special. We hope to return.

The house was filled with many activities for the kids as well as the adults.... a game room with poker, scrabble, pool table, tv and bar was a great hit!, same with the awesome theater!
Never a dull moment in this beautiful log cabin home by the Wenatchee river.
Lots to do outside also.....with outdoor games included....and a seating area near the river we took avantage of :)
Hopefully, we will be back in the future:)

We had a family vacation here with ages 1-64 and everyone was comfortably accomodated.
We had no need to leave the property, there was so much to keep us entertained. The common areas were large enough for all to gather, yet there were lots of nooks and crannies for peaceful alone time. The area is beautiful and there is lots to do if you do leave the property. We all agreed it would be great to return.

There is so much to do on this property. Huge decks, right in the river, pitch and putt course… you almost can’t get to it all. The grounds were in immaculate condition and the interior is very well thought out and well stocked. Just about a 5 min drive to the Safeway and the edge of downtown. We had a great time.

Amazing cabin.There are many things to do on property and several places to go for a quiet spot alone. Lovely well maintained property and love the sounds of the river. They really thought of everything. Leavenworth is such a short drive away if you need to pop into town for anything. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Thank you so much!

We stayed at The Grand River Lodge for our work offsite meeting & team building mini retreat. This place did not disappoint and was beyond our expectations. It had every amenity we could have needed + more. The owners have definitely thought of everything! Barbara was a pleasure to work with and was very quick to respond to my messages. I would love to come back and bring my family next time!

We stayed at the Grand Lodge VRBO for our work staff retreat. This place did not disappoint, it was such a beautiful and peaceful property. We were trying to find a place that would accommodate 9 people and everyone have their own room. This place was perfect, from the time of inquiring about the property till the time we checked out, the owner Barbara was a great communicator and even left a sweet note and chocolates as a welcome gift for us. Her sister greeted me when I checked in to give a me a tour and answer any questions I had of the home. Barbara was also available via messaging or phone if needed.
I will definitely stay at this property again, but with my family next time around. The river behind the property is so relaxing and peaceful, my colleagues and I sat out in the back with the heated lamps on and drank our coffee and tea in the morning before we started our work retreat.

Our family has had the privilege of visiting this magical spot for many years now (perhaps 6/7 times). Year upon year, the Owners (who are wonderful BTW), find myriad ways to make their enchanted property even more spectacular!! A very warm and welcoming home. It was beautifully and elegantly decorated for Christmas which made even more special. This is an extra special place to come to if you have large group or family. You won’t regret staying here. Amazing views, great sports memorabilia to the reading nooks to the night lights flashing on the trees, etc.The property is situated right on the river with everything you could ever need for a relaxing getaway. Very close to downtown Leavenworth. As soon as you enter the house, you feel the warmth and attention to the details on making guests comfortable is incredible. Thank you to the homeowners for sharing your beautiful and exquisite home.

This place is magical! The owners have thought of everything. The lodge is beautiful and relaxing. Loved the Christmas decorations. Even though everyone tried to help, we had no heat in our bedroom.
The thermostat consistently read 61. Being cold will be my biggest memory. I must say that it was incredibly cold outside, too. We had to leave a day early to be sure we could get home, because of the weather. Our daughter’s family stayed until the end.

Our family stayed here to celebrate life milestones, reunion, and Christmas! I truly can't find anything I wish this property have that it doesn't as it has *everything*! We are very lucky to stay here during the holiday as Barbara put so much love and effort to decorate the home it truly comes alive and warmth is felt through the home and at every corner. There are dozens if not more Christmas trees inside the house and tons of twinkling lights and wreaths spread around. We were also well taken care of with prompt communication and accommodation by the owner. This is the ultimate dream vacation home, perfect in every way. Stay here and you will make memories that last a lifetime.

The Grand River Lodge exceeded our expectations. This was our third time here as a family of 20. This year was a winter wonderland which made it even more amazing. The holiday decor is a beautiful touch to an already phenomenal property. Everything was available for use so we didn’t need to bring any kitchen utensils. Plenty of towels available for all. Such a perfect location being so close to town but yet right in the river made it a serene location. One of our favorite things was turning on the heaters on the deck and enjoying our morning coffee in the calm of the river. The home is so beautiful we barely wanted to leave but did go on a sleigh ride and in to town one afternoon. We will continue to come to this property every year.

This is a one-of-a-kind special place. Location is amazing right on the river and 5 minutes from town. The interior is so warm and Christmasy. Barb is very responsive and accommodating. This was our 2nd time staying here. We increased our stay from 2 days last year to 6 days this year. We also invited our three best friends and their families so had 14 people total. It was a wonderful reunion. We’ll be returning in the future. Highly recommended!

Pictures don't do it justice. Felt like we had our own private resort for the weekend. Our group is already figuring out how many times we can come back next year lol. Attention to detail was incredible, and the amenities are overwhelming. 9,000sq feet had never felt so warm and cozy. Barb and Dennis are awesome, wonderful people. Can't wait till next time.

14 of us spent a wonderful week at the property for a private wedding. It is hard to express the beauty of this property. Right on the river, very private, with many outdoor and indoor activities. We especially enjoyed time in the fabulous game room, playing pool and board games and enjoying the fireplace and bar. (We purchased a sixtel from the Old Postal Saloon for the beer tap.) The kitchen was truly a chef's kitchen with plenty of trays, dishes, glassware and serving utensils. Loved the double oven and warming drawers as well. All of the rooms were so well designed and included so many nice touches. And we even had a visit from the resident bear, Cinnamon! I highly recommend The Grand Lodge.

This amazing property has something for everyone - a rushing river that is perfect for rafting from the small private beach, a small golf green, badminton, pool table, bicycles, cupboards full of toys and shelves full of books. Plus beautiful porches and indoor seating areas for quiet reading. The temps were over 100 several days during our stay and the indoors of this large, airy home was always cool and comfortable. Each bedroom has its own AC setting.
