We enjoyed our stay at the Playa Azul condominiums. The location is very nice as it’s basically right on the beach and the view is amazing. The water is a little rough at this part of the beach but we enjoyed lounging in the sand. The condominium grounds are very nice. It being gated and always a security guard around was nice plus. We would definitely recommend this property and area.

Had an amazing experience! Great communication, perfect location, fabulous view! Definitely made the trip feel like a home away from home (in Paradise). Close to restaurants, grocery store, kiosks, that the rainforest! Thank you Alvy, can't wait to visit again!

The 1 bedroom apartment was perfect for my wife and I for our week in Puerto Rico. Luquillo is wonderful with good restaurants & shops in the area, a couple on the beach. The building is secure overly so, we walked the beach & streets at night with no problems. The apartment is fully furnished, could use some updating but is in good shape and clean. The air conditioner is quiet and works well, the bed is reasonably hard. there are 2 futons in the living room for kids. It was windy while we were there, and the wind blows through the apartment, not oppressive, but it's there, the Internet was sketchy sometimes, I think it was upstream from the apartment 'cuz we always has a good wifi signal. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Great location. Million dollar view. It’s safe 24hr security, clean and comfortable has everything you need. Everyone was friendly in Condo complex. Will definitely book again!!

Withon 15 minute radius we went horseback riding, Luquillo beach, Paylas natural water slide and jet skiing. Ran out of time but plenty more to do and only approximately 40 minutes from airport. Safe secure family bldg. Very pleasant stay.

Me, hubby and 3 children were very comfortable in the apartment, it felt like home to us! We went to Old San Juan and park in the parking lot for $4 which suggest getting there around 12 noon or so as they get pack for quick. We also visited Farjardo beach call seven seas it about 20 minutes from the apartment and we also did the local sight seeing too, Luquillo beach, the food, (Walgreens, Wendy and supermarket is right up the street from the apartment) we had a great time!! Alvy again thank you!!! We will definitely be staying there again! Oh let me not forget the ocean view was fantastic to wake up every morning to!!!

Beachfront with a million dollar view!! Close to the keosks, rainforest, and shopping... Great Hosts!! Will be back!!

This place by far was the best Home away from Home I rented. Everything We needed was provided. Convenient the supermarket, drug store, laundromat, best coffee place ever, food and not to mention great beach and terrific warm high wave ocean, spectacular view, amazing breeze, the kitchen had every amenity....I can go on and on....Great Place.

Alvy condo is awesome, everything you need is there including beach chairs,umbrella and a small cooler.The view from this 17th floor condo balcony is out of this world. Very secured place with 24 hours security guard at the gate. The beach across the street is beautiful and clean. Also there is a lot of places to eat close to the condo. Thank You Alvy for your hospitality. Will be back!!!

Alvy's condo is Awesome. It was beautiful, clean, and ready to go with everything we needed and even extras including beach chairs and boogie boards for the kids. We loved that our balcony had an ocean view. We kept our balcony doors open day and night our whole stay. Alvy is very caring and considerate and always available for any questions you may have. I highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying at this flat. It was totally worth it to go a bit north (Luquillo) and get an ocean front view. Below listed are our experiences at the flat. Pros: the owner is very responsive and communicative. The flat is truly an ocean view property and the views are gorgeous. The balcony is a tremendous asset. We enjoyed having our breakfast on the balcony listening to the sound of the waves. We never had to use the air conditioning - just opened the windows at night and let the ocean breezes keep us cool. The kitchen is nicely fitted out with just about everything you need to prepare food. There are some items (salt/pepper, coffee, sugar) that are super helpful when you first come in. There is a Walmart "Amigos" across the street for groceries. Luquillo itself is a sleepy, friendly small cove. We highly recommend the ocean front restaurant Pasta and Pueblos. There is a large galley of restaurants within a short drive "kiosks". We highly recommend #20 Tennura. The food was absolutely amazing. Cons: There is a pool on the property and it is large and beautiful. However, when we were there, there were only 4 lounge chairs and a handful of regular chairs. So if you want to lay out by the pool, you may not be able to do so unless you wait for a lounge chair to become available. The changing room by the pool is extremely sketchy, change in the flat. The bed in the flat is small (a double in reality) and we did not find it comfortable. We slept on the futon in the living room which was more than adequate. The shower water does not get very hot - more like luke warm. The little things did not in any way take away from out stay. It was a tremendous value for the money to get an ocean view flat. We loved staying there and would definitely book again upon return to Puerto Rico.

The view from this apartment was beautiful. The apartment was immaculate. It didn't have any scent of cigarette smoke. It had everything possibly needed to enjoy staying there and enjoying the beach. Parking was easy. Security was plenty. People were friendly, too. The apartment's furnishings, including the bed's mattress, was nice and comfortable. There was plenty of closet space and dresser space. The shower's water pressure was more than adequate. The breeze from the ocean was nice. It was even better when keeping the balcony door open and the apartment's door open. Alvy, the unit owner, explained everything needed to know in order to gain access into the apartment. I will definitely stay at this apartment when I visit Luquillo next. This was my girlfriend's and I third visit to Luquillo, but our first stay in Alvy's apartment. I wish I had known about Alvy's apartment the previous two visits.

We had an absolutely fantastic time. Alvy was responsive to all of our questions. This was our second trip to Luquillo but our first time at Alvy's condo. There was no comparison. This condo had everything we needed including beach chairs, great beach access, pool, and wonderful ocean front balcony where we ate breakfast every day. We will definitely be back. The Queen mattress is also very comfortable. Cheers!

Very comfortable accommodations. All you need for a fabulous vacation, beach chairs, beach towels is provided. Condo is easy to find with secure restricted access. Stunning view of the beach from apartment. Close by to many activities. Lots of local places to eat, things to see. We loved our time here. Looking forward to rent the property again.

It was a pleasure doing business with the owners of this apartment. They always responded promptly to any questions I had and were extremely attentive. Playa Azul is a glorious place and this apartment makes your stay even better. The apartment was clean, well furnished and had everything we needed to feel like we were staying at home. And you cannot beat the price! I'm looking forward to renting from Alvy again.

Alvy's condo is perfect for a get-away on a beautiful beach, in a beautiful town. Everything we needed was in the condo and Alvy was accessible for anything, although we needed nothing. The beach is amazing and was not crowded at all. There are several good restaurants within walking distance, we particularly liked The Brass Cactus. Thanks Alvy for a great vacation!

Super quite building. The beach was perfect. I have never seen a beach so beautiful. Loved the cross breeze during the day. Open the balcony doors and louvers in back and smell the sea. Great host, she had every thing we could want for our stay. The property was clean and well maintained. Alvy was a sweetheart to deal with. Location was great. Plenty of attractions and shopping for supplies.

My husband and I just got back from a 5 day (Monday - Friday) visit to Luguillo. Alvy's condo was just perfect for the two of us. Extremely affordable. While it is an older condo, it was clean and everything we needed was provided. Alvy was a gem and was just a text away if we had questions. The kiosks were very close as was the Brass Cactus and BoardRiders Surf and Grill. Fajardo was a lot closer than we thought and we had a great time with Pure Adventure Puerto Rico and their bio bay tour. We were also happy El Yunque National Park was only a short drive away as was Old San Juan and the airport. It really is in a perfect location for these things. Amigos grocery store along with a Walgreens are just across the main highway. We felt very safe. The beach could not really have been any closer and the views are amazing. There are two A/C wall units that did a nice job at night keeping us cool and the breeze during the day was just right. It is extremely humid there but that was to be expected. If you are wanting a 5 star resort this condo is not for you. If you are wanting to be off the beaten path with a beach mostly to yourself and want to relax then this condo is perfect. My only complaint and this is no fault of Alvys or the condo.....the traffic to San Juan is horrible and people drive crazy and wreckless. We definitely had a few white knuckled moments. Puerto Rico is absolutely beautiful and we definitely want to visit again. Could not have asked for a better first visit. Hats off to Alvy for being a great host.

the property was great! Nice and clean. I really like that there was a full kitchen. The property owner was extremely nice and made herself available at anytime if you needed to call. I liked the gated parking. The view was amazing! You are right on the beach. The property owner has items you can use at the beach which was an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay!! Thank you!

This was my family's first time to Puerto Rico and so glad we stayed at this condo! There are 3 towers located in the Playa Azul complex and this condo was in the tower that is right on the beach on the 17th floor! Perfect views of the ocean from the balcony and perfect views of the rain forest from the front door! Alvy has just about everything you need to enjoy the endless sunny days at the beach! The condo was very clean and ready to be moved in for our week long stay. It has been very well maintained and Alvy is just a phone call away. The condo is a decent size and the 2 futons plus an air mattress plus the queen bed in its own bedroom has a place for all to sleep. The one bathroom is small. The galley sized full kitchen came in very handy so we could prepare and eat meals in the condo - eating out on the balcony overlooking the ocean of course! This complex is very secure having a guarded entrance into the parking lot and guarded entrances to the tower itself. Gates everywhere made us all feel safe and secure. The internet and TV service was fairly reliable. There were a few times the TV would freeze and the internet would be very slow. So we would turn off the tv and go sit outside! The breeze is constant and does a great job keeping the condo comfortable, a bit humid though. Then again, you are on an island in the middle of the ocean! We ventured to San Juan to tour the Forts - very cool! Tried to find a place to park with no success to walk around San Juan so we drove around looking at the cool architecture buildings! The Bacardi Rum Distillery tour was also very cool! My 3 kids went horse back riding on an hour tour at the Carabali Park where they also have ATV trails, and go karts! We also drove through the rain forest for several miles which was absolutely beautiful!!! There are many restaurants, souvenir shops, jet ski rentals, etc at the Kioscos just the next exit down from the condo. We also went to the Nature Preserve to go on a tour of the awesome bio-luminescent bay located in the next town over called Fajardo. Its much cheaper than doing the kayak tour which none of us felt comfortable doing in the dark. The people at the Nature Reserve are so nice, friendly, and passionate about what they do! The only downfall would be the roads in Puerto Rico. Many potholes, most secondary roads do not have any lines so its very hard to distinguish how many lanes there are at times. Just keep right and take your time! And watch out for lane divers!

This is a very nice place. Was very clean and organize. Very safe place. People are friendly. It is a blessing to hear the ocean from your bed and feel the wind. Will to return.

Just came back from a week at Alvy's apartment. It was everything our family of four needed. Eating breakfast on the balcony overlooking Playa Costa Azul was a great way to start each morning. Close to Luquillo, the kiosks restaurants, El Yunque, the Fajardo marinas and the Reserva Natural Las Cabezas. Close enough to take a day trip to San Juan as well. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Alvy was very available to field any questions.
