Overall, the Polo Beach club provided the lux location and amenities. Our stay fulfilled our desired getaway checklist of items. The lux location, privacy, security, upscale beach access and overall quality. The private location, the superb access from car to unit to beach/pool and the pristine building condition and superb landscaped grounds. Now about the unit 109. On the shady side of the building, so the unit is always dark unless you turn on the lights. The condition, given the history of being constantly renter, was as clean and comfortable as possible. I agree with several of the prior renter comments, but at the right daily rental rate, the value would be worth repeating my experience in this unit 109. My sister paid a premium and rented unit 305 with an ocean front location and 180 degree views. Overall, I want to thank the KBM management company for their professional and on-demand helpfulness. Blessed with the joy of experiencing the joy of an extended vacation with this unit 109 as our base of operation. Five of five "Ono's" to the owner and KBM !!!!!

The check-in process was extremely easy, the unit is clean and the location right on Polo Beach cannot be beat. Sleeps 4 very comfortably and there is tons of space.
The only downside is that the unit needs to be renovated, there is broken mirror which needs to be replaced and there are some accessibility issues with the bath/shower in the master. There is no way an elderly person could access the shower in the master bath. It is actually a little dangerous for anyone.
Also, why do all of these older condos in Hawaii have carpet? It really doesn’t make sense with the humidity and sand ever present.
Overall, the unit is great but needs an update.

The unit however is very dated many things don’t work it’s dark and unappealing. The master bath and shower would be impossible to get into if you were older. Damage from prior leaks show and the bath smells badly. There are just to many repairs needed to list. We have stayed at polo beach at least 8 previous times this was the worst unit ever and not cheap at over 900 a night. Thankfully we only needed two nights because longer would have been to depressing! Sorry wish I could be more positive.

Exceeded our expectations. We will be back. The building layout is brilliant, providing each unit an ocean view. The kitchen and main living area made us feel at home. Staff on and off property were wonderful.

The Fairmont was right next door and my daughters went over there for a few lunches and we had dinner at the Ko Restaurant. (the dinner was amazing!) We had a private guide pick us up on Polo Beach for snorkeling and a canoe/sailboat ride. We rented a car and drove to several places. The Wailea area was in close proximity to many fabulous places. The check in and check out was very easy and the management team was always very helpful and responded quickly. I would definitely stay here again!

My family is already planning a return trip!!! The beach is private and amazing. The property is very clean and quiet.

Onsite property managers were super nice and helpful.

Great stay at Polo Beach Club
Great spot - good condos.. all the same... what I don’t like is that it seems like a partial retirement home. No playing catch on the sprawling lawn because one resident doesn’t want to see it? No. They need to decide if the want to be part of the rental pool and make money from their unused overpriced properties or be a place where old ladies come out and wave rule sheets in your face for having a sponge ball in the pool.
I get it - I’m not going to throw a bachelor partu there... but ease up a bit, or close the window if you don’t like to hear people having fun.

Nice location, but, Unit is a bit tired
First problem was that when we arrived, someone else was still there. The unit had been double booked for our first day. As it was totally the management company's error, they ended up paying for a night in a suite at the Fairmont Hotel. But that's water under the bridge as there was a change in management companies during the time we were there, which was definitely a good thing.
What I'd say about Unit 109 is the location was terrific. Quiet and farther away from others. We felt it was very private. Being on the ground floor also made it very convenient for beach access. With the old style Hawaiian furniture, the unit had a nice homey feel to it.
What we didn't like was that the unit felt "dirty." There was dirt and bugs in the sliding door tracks and window tracks and the sliding door to the lanai was difficult to close and couldn't be locked. We felt like the unit needed a "deep clean" including shampooing the rugs because wherever you looked, it was easy to find dirt and grime. Part of the reason we were there was for the views and the big living room windows were so filthy it was hard to see out. The unit obviously had been very poorly maintained and, hopefully, the new cleaning company (that goes with the new management company) will do a better job.
I will say this, the new management company was very responsive to the several issues we identified and sent cleaning crews back to clean windows, fix the living room fan, put new handle on the sliding doors and get the sliding door back on track so it would close. I can't blame them for the problems we had and it's a good sign for future renters.
What I would suggest is that the owner invest, not necessarily in a major remodel effort, but certainly in a thorough deep cleaning of the unit from top to bottom.

Perfect Vacation
What a wonderful site. The condo, the surrounding grounds, the pool and the ocean were all perfect. There were four of us plus our 2 year old grandson. We all had plenty of room and being on the first floor was great. We really enjoyed the gorgeous path leading to the huge hotels. We spent time in the pool, on the beach, took several drives, explored restaurants and the aquarium, enjoyed a luau, went scuba diving and paddle boarding. The condo, itself, had everything we needed. It was so nice to have sand toys, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards at our disposal. The condo was clean, nicely decorated and in excellent condition. We all loved it and hope to be able to return next year.

Wonderful for families
The unit is well maintained and stocked with amenities and beach equipment, and the beach is within sight! The location is great, with a wonderful waterfront walking path to several high end hotels with restaurants. Every sunset is amazing here. The unit is extra nice if you have kids, as it is on the first floor and there is plenty of space for the kids to roam and get to the beach.

Polo Beach Club was great!
We loved the Polo Beach Club property. The location was the best. We enjoyed the beach and the grounds so much. We especially liked that it wasn’t so crowded and noisy but we could stroll along the beach path up to the bigger resorts if we wanted more activity. Number 109 was nice and was well equipped with everything we needed. We appreciated having the beach chairs and umbrella to take to the beach and the kitchen had more than anything you would want or need. I think the condo could use a little TLC and some updating. The sliding glass door in the master suite wouldn’t open, that was an inconvenience and we couldn’t get any fresh air in the room. We missed feeling the soothing ocean breezes and we couldn’t hear the surf. The master bath shower jacuzzi tub was a little dicey for us seniors to get in and out of too!
All in all our vacation at the Polo Club was great and we hope to return! Aloha and mahalo for letting us stay with you!

If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet, beachfront vacation- this is the condo! The unit is in a secluded location tucked away from all the noise but just a short breathtaking boardwalk away from shopping and restaurants. What I liked most about this condo other than the beautiful decor and spacious two bedroom unit was that when you got home from shopping, /touring- you had a private beach (key entrance only), private pool and hot tub. It's a perfect romantic getaway. Full kitchen, Smart TV and large patio facing ocean. Could not have had a better time and the grill area by the pool was so convenient!

WOW! Truly incredible condo with breathtaking views
Beautiful condo right on the ocean with ocean views in an amazing location! I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The owner was extremely responsive, courteous, friendly, and helpful, and the place was very clean with all the essentials of a home. You can walk out to the pool, Jacuzzi, and BBQ area, and the beach just steps away. We loved walking along the resort path with stunning views of the ocean from the cliffs and gorgeous hotels with fantastic restaurants. And after a day of adventures on the road to Hana, it was the perfect place to unwind, grill out, and relax out on the patio watching the sun set. Great Beach Front Condo
This nicely remodeled condo has a lovely view of the ocean from the lanai. Attractive kitchen and decor throughout. Easy walk out the back lawn down to the ocean. Great pool if you need a break from the beach. Being on the ground floor - no elevator needed. End unit is very quiet. Location next to Kea Lani resort gives you the best of both worlds--quiet location but near everything. The owner was very helpful in providing instructions and helpful vacation hints.
