Beautiful condo close to the bay, and not far from the beach. We loved the huge patio, and the “extras” included by the hosts. We were able to go boogie boarding and kayaking without renting any equipment, as it was provided at the house. Very happy with our stay, and considering staying again next year.

We absolutely loved our stay. The location in San Diego is amazing - so close to the beach and at the perfect point of the beach. The house was larger than the pictures show and the 2 bathrooms were a big win. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean and welcoming. I will absolutely stay here again. This is one of my favorite house rentals and I have rented many in my travel life (I am 40!). Funny story - the first night around 9pm I heard some strange noises outside. When I stepped out to investigate, it was large FIREWORKS from Sea World! So amazing. Each night we walked 1 block to the bay and had a private firework viewing. Was an awesome surprise.

Awesome house just blocks to the bay and beach! Super clean and quiet. Very well stocked kitchen items and super comfy beds. Candis was on top of everything and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend staying here. You’ll love it! We did!

Just one block to bay & 2 blocks to ocean. Large master ensuite with ample drawers & closets. Other bedroom has 2 full size beds. Shower is large as it is a triangle shape. Fun bikes for riding & a wagon for beach gear. The only drawbacks to this property is the wifi & the approaching airplanes starting at 6:30 am until 10:30 pm.

My parents visited for spring break and they had a great first experience with SD in the almost perfectly located beach cottage. I say almost because it is in SAN airport runway axis. If you naturally wake up before the end of night takeoff curfew, you'll be just fine!
Amenities were as described. We very much enjoyed the cruiser bikes, in particular.
I would come back if the opportunity arises.

This was such a great house and location for our trip to San Diego. We wanted something really close to the beach and this was perfect for us. The house was in really great condition, was really clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would totally recommend this place to friends and family!

The house worked out well for us. The location to the beach was convenient; the kitchen had ample tools to create our own meals, as well as a microwave and dishwasher; the patio had a sitting area and a barbeque (although we didn't have a chance to use this due to the rain). The two bathrooms made mornings wonderful.
The cottage had enough room for family fun and also made one feel one had one's own area for a book or a bit of privacy too!
The only drawback was the air traffic but reminded us of living near an airport with fond memories!

My family of 5 recently stayed in this adorable cottage conveniently located close to both the Bay and the Ocean in Mission Bay. The cottage was incredibly clean, well decorated and stocked with all the essentials we needed for the week. We had a minor issue with the lock to the cottage, which Candis responded to immediately after I called her. The cottage also had bikes and a kayak as well as beach chairs we had access to. I would (and have already) highly recommended this property to friends and family who want to vacation in San Diego.

This property is one of the best VRBO places we have stayed. The owner was helpful, friendly, and easy to contact. The house was very well stocked, clean, and comfortable. We were most impressed with the luxurious beds. The location cannot be beat. When walking out the front door, 1/2 block to the bay with parks and a walking trail and 2 blocks to the ocean (also with a walking trail). We used both the bay and ocean walking trails to head to Belmont Park. Loved it. Can't wait to stay at this property again!

My wife and I were very pleased with the Beach House. The location is perfect as it is nestled between Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The house was perfect for our needs and included everything as listed by VRBO. We had to deal with the owner on a few things and found she was always super responsive.

They really didn’t kid when they say you’re steps from the Bay and the ocean. Made for an excellent walking route.
Owners also communicated well and responded to our questions.
Neighborhood was nice and mellow even considering it’s close to heart of Mission Beach. Highly recommend.

This house was perfect for our family of 5! It’s walking distance to both the bay and the beach, with easy access to the boardwalk, shopping, and all that the beach offers, and it’s a short drive away from downtown San Diego and many tourist attractions. Candis was wonderful to work with and the additional amenities (bikes, kayak, well-stocked kitchen) make staying here a no-brainer.

Very close to the bay beach and the ocean beach. The parking space is tight but we had no problem with it.
Plenty of kitchen utensils and tablewares. A decent vacation house. Highly recommend.

Home has everything you could need for a stay at Mission Bay. The bedding and sheets were softer and better than at home! Would love to buy the same set of sheets for at home. Great area between the bay and the ocean. Parking at the house fit our vehicle just fine. Only reason for 4 star versus 5 star is the number of planes that go directly over the house. Home is 5 star but I found it hard to ignore the many planes. Thankfully the planes stop over night so a good night’s rest is totally possible. Candis was quick to response to any questions and very accommodating.

The house is conveniently located between the bay and the beach with easy access to the boardwalks on the either side, very spacious, with plenty room, excellent fast internet connection for those who want to work away from home, short walk to the restaurants and Belmont park, cozy and big patio (I enjoyed my morning coffee every day on the patio), grill, sand chairs but probably the best thing was beach bikes!

The home looks exactly like the pictures shown on the VRBO website. Kitchen had lots of utensils, pots, pans, Keurig coffee maker and everything else you would expect in a kitchen. The two bathrooms were a plus. Bed was comfortable. We didn't have a car so had to Uber to places we wished to sight-see. The only negative point I will make is the fact that planes from San Diego Airport fly overhead from 6:30 am to 11:00 pm. Other than that, it was a really lovely spot. Beach 5 minutes away, bay even closer! Would recommend this VRBO.

We really enjoyed our stay. Within minutes we could walk on the beach or swim in the Bay. The house had all the needed amenities. The designated parking spot was very helpful as parking was always packed. Candis was responsive.

Candis' house between the bay and the ocean beach is amazing. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities we could want and more. The location is great - quiet/chill aside from the jet noise from the airport (this seems to be common everywhere in San Diego with the central location of the airport), and super short walk to a sandy beach with a view of the SeaWorld fire works on the weekends. Also convenient to town, Belmont Park, food, and shops by car or electric scooter. We would love to be able to stay here again in the future.

Perfect beach cottage. 2 spacious bedrooms and 2 baths. Good size dining room. Comfortable seating in living room. Well stocked kitchen. Very clean. Beach chairs, boogie boards etc. However if you want to ride bikes I would bring your own :)

All the reviews are true this is a perfect place to stay. So close to the bay and the beach and has everything you need to have a great time. Very well stocked with all the essentials and very clean. The only negative as others have said is all the airplanes going by, but you get used to it. The neighborhood itself is very quiet. Perfect for a family with kids. We would definitely stay again.
