The location. Admittedly, the weather helped, but we really enjoyed our stay. Everyone seemed personable, whether they were holidaymakers or staff.

Caravan: key safe and gas fire control located at ankle level; flushing the toilet creates an almighty banging noise; couldn't get the oven to work; duvets too big for very small single beds; a balcony without furniture is pointless; clusters of nettles and weeds outside the van ...

Caravan was lovely. Loved that there were no ornaments so little one could run around without having anything to break. Very clean. So spacious. Could have done with table & chairs on veranda.

Was pouring with rain when we got there so immediately noticed leak in roof in kitchen. The one seat we couldn't sit on because the wood underneath was broke (no problem lots more seating). Could do with lamps in bedroom as I had to sleep with light on to safely get into bed. Would have been nice if Club Tropicana passes had been included. We could not afford the daily rate for all of us & then the expensive price of there beer so never went in. No reflection on caravan. They did say that sometimes the owners pass there passes on to whoever is renting the van.

Caravan leaked when it rained

I liked the time slots for the swimming pool the only thing that was a bit of a shame was queuing for 15minutes then caravan owners having first priority which i fully understand and us not able to get into the swimming pool for that particular session.

The location was good , only a short drive away from Ingoldmells , Skegness etc , The facilities on site were good , very good choice of takeaway options , great shop with reasonable prices but Club Tropicana & Staff not so great & same for Reception staff.

On arrival , We were staying in a private caravan so no need to check in but went to Reception to get some info on site entertainment , swimming , bingo , music etc. but when I asked was told there are posters on the Reception wall showing daily club entertainment but no leaflets , ask in the club & told me nothing about bingo & just reeled off times for swimming really quickly & I was expected to remember. Looked at posters which didn't have times etc on , went into club & asked their staff which did point me to a leaflet for nightly entertainment , When asked , A yellow coat told me Bingo was played nightly at about 8.15. We purchased a Family w/end pass for club & went into club late on 1st night , 2nd night we went into club around 7pm & struggled to find a seat , waited for bingo booth to open to buy tickets but never did & then bingo started at 8.15 , we were most disgruntled , spoke to bar staff & told you had to be in & buy tickets at 6pm to play,NOT HAPPY! 3rd night we went to club at 5pm only to be turned away at the door because we were told we couldn't enter until after 8pm as there was a FOOTBALL PRESENTATION EVENT taking place & they had paid for use of the club & there was NO BINGO that night either. When we spoke to Club Tropicana staff in the foyer we were told : WELL , YOU HAVE HAD 2 NIGHTS USE OF YOUR PASS SO FOR WHAT YOU HAVE PAID YOU HAVE HAD YOUR MONEYS WORTH ANYWAY. I said what if all these people for the Football don't come back out at 8pm & stay in ,She said : "Most are checking out tonight" but that didn't mean they would leave club at 8pm & when I checked at 11pm, half of them were still in there.
