This was exactly what we needed for a week with our family to help a parent battling cancer. I'm very grateful for the house & space. However, we communicated why we were coming into town & we messaged that we would be arriving into the wee hours. @ 130a.m. the home was not cleaned at all. We contacted the number at the house and thru vrbo. We ended up finding a hotel to go to. We lugged all of our suitcases, cooler, and 3 kids into a hotel at 230am. We were lucky to find one. We had to unload our car because everything was strapped to a luggage carrier. We had to load and strap all of this back up by check out next day with nowhere to go. Some of our stuff got wet in the rain. They did get back with us that morning to tell us that there was a death in the cleaning lady's family & she missed the house, & it would be ready by 4pm that day. Luckily we had family we could hang out with until that time. They did apologize and paid for our night in the hotel, but for the hassle i think more should have been done w/out asking.The home needs maintenance & a deep cleaning. The kitchen cabinet insides needed cleaned, sagging door, and soured towels. The dryer is on its last leg. Beds were ok, but cheap linens. Mouse poop on the counter at end of week. Not much room to put groceries into cabinets because they are so stocked & the only ones free were on bottom w/ broken shelf & above micro. We were very busy & stressed & did not have time to message host with these issues.

This house is funtastic! Cedric is the perfect host, the location is unbeatable! Description is exact as said. We had a great time here for our daughter’s graduation, we are a big family living in different locations so to be able to be together was priceless. A big thank you for Cedric’s baker kiddos, they made the most delicious cakeWe highly recommend this place. Thanks again for our stay!

The property was great. There was a moldy smell in the kitchen/ dining area, other than that it was comfortable. Would recommend blankets for the master bedroom as the comforter on the bed is very thin and not warm enough.

We stayed at this Vrbo during a very difficult time as we were in town for a funeral. The hosts truly went above and beyond. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our stay. What touched us the most was the thoughtful gesture of leaving us a delicious, homemade cake made by their children- it meant more than they will ever know and brought a bit of comfort when our family really needed it. While the home and location were perfect for our needs, the kindness shown from this host family during an extremely difficult time, is something we treasured and will never forget.Cedric and family - Thank you for your kindness and hospitality from the depths of my heart.
