I am here for summer skiing. The flat is not so far from the main cable station, but there is a slope and it's tiring to walk down the slope with the ski boots! We put all the equipment (skis, boots, poles, jackets) in the car and everyday we drive to the cable station. It should be much easier to get to the slope in winter. As for the summer skiing, it just opened a few draglifts on the glacier and all of them are over 3400m, so there is less oxygen and we felt tired even if we just did some light movement. Anyway, skiing forward Matterhorn in the summer was a magic experience! The flat was spacious and the price was good. Looking forward to coming here again this winter!

Excellent place to stay for skiing in Cervinia. The flat was well-equipped, clean, spacious and convenient for the pistes. It's only a 5 minute walk to the shops too. Everything was well-organised and straightforward. This is a charming flat - the photos don't do it justice!

Spacious apartment, perfect for couple, good also for up to 4 people. Friendly custodian is available almost the whole day in case of any questions. Bare in mind preferable check-in time: not later than 20:00. Walking distance to main ski lifts. Hint: it’s possible and legal to leave your car on the parking next to the ski lifts - no need to carry your skis back home and you can leave your shoes in the car for change after skiing. Hint 2: Ristorante Pousset on the slope in Cervinia on the way home is simply amazing for incredibly low prices (in menu among others fondue, polenta, pizza, bombardino (5 euro), aperol spritz (7 euro)). We ate there 3 times in 5 days. Ristorante Sotto Zerro in Cervinia is also highly recommended for great pizza in fair prices.

The apartment is in the highest section of the Giomein condominium complex which snakes up the hill along the road. You access it via a private road with a barrier. It's a 10min/600m walk along the road downhill to the lift station via the car park (and across a stream between you and the piste). You have views of the mountain and lift station. The area is very quiet - just the piste bashers going out in the evening. The apartment was warm, clean and comfortable for 2 adults & 2 kids. Good 4G mobile signal (60Mbps+). You can drive right up to the entrance to unload and then park further down along the private access road (if there is space - otherwise further away in the lift station car park). There are 2 separate bedrooms which is good for the price, There's a small elevator. The owner was helpful and usually responded quickly when messaged via booking.com

We couldn't get the keys when we arrived until the custodian - who lives in another apartment on the same floor - was there (she's unavailable 12pm-3pm). The magnetic fob to open the barrier to the road didn't work - eventually replaced at the end of our stay. You only get one set of keys which makes it difficult if you're not all leaving/returning together. It's a 20min walk down into the town for ski hire/shops/restaurants - there's not much available closer to the the apartment. It's not ski in/out - you can walk 300m down to the main road and then ski down from there to the Cretaz lifts if there's enough snow cover. To avoid the hike up with all our skis we chose to drive down to the gondola station car park and then back up at the end of the day. The private road up to the apartment was icy and difficult to negotiate - we saw cars getting stuck when it snowed - and snow tires/4WD are essential in my opinion. When the main road was cleared of snow they created a 1m pile of snow at the barrier that we had to remove ourselves to get the car out. The apartment is compact and decorated in a dated/rustic fashion - we didn't mind it though - and the bathroom needs refurbishment but was functional. Basic kitchen (small fridge with a little freezer compartment, 4 X electric hobs and a table top oven/grill) but that's not unusual for ski accommodation at this price. There is no wifi. The smaller room with bunk beds has little storage (cupboard locked - presumably kept for owner's storage). The AC plugs use the recessed rectangular L type found in Italy and your european plugs/adapters will not fit into them - there were some L type splitters which we were able to move about to plug in our devices (by disconnecting some of the lights etc).

Furnishings were tired and uncomfortable. Kitchen facilities very limited.
