very nice place, well maintained and well equipped apartment, owner and the staff take care of many details, so the guests really feel the holiday and relaxing mood 😊

Apartment was new, clean and host was amazing

there is no facility to store surfboards or wetsuites. very uncomfortable to bring the board on SEB one flow with tons of send.

The apartment is in an amazing location and is a good size for a family of 4. It was very well equipped. Silvia was extremely helpful and recommended great restaurants and things to do with young children.

The only disappointment was that thé swimming pool was freezing and impossible to use with young kids (or even ourselves).

Spacious

Not enough pillows. Needed a smart tv. Had no control of the heating.

The communication with the property owners and their rep, Maja, was excellent. The meet and handover at the property was professional with plenty of useful info imparted to make settling into the property and knowing what was where in the locale that bit easier. The finish is very modern and so you feel like you need to keep it that way; clear and clean which isn’t always easy with a family with 3 teenagers on a surfing holiday. The balcony to the property faces southish so you catch the sun in the morning and up to lunchtime. The pool is round the other side of the apartment block (one minute) and is ideal for laying out at the end of the day. And in between times there’s what you have come for, with two beaches both less than 5 minutes easy walk away. There is a garage below ground which we did use. The ramp down is quite excitingly steep but it does the job and has space for boards as well. Nearby you have a vegan cafe and a supermarket with bakery and bar. Baleal and Peniche have plenty to do and if you want to go a bit more Portuguese go into Ferrel and try Cantinho do Saloio. Within 20 minutes there is Obidos and Buddha Eden Garden. Great apartment ideally placed.

It’s in an area that is being developed and so the building works opposite weren’t a surprise. I’m writing this in August 2019 so if you are coming in 2020 they’ll be finished. It would be nice if a microwave could be squeezed in!
