The apartment was indeed well-furnished and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, offering easy access to various attractions. The interior design of the apartment added a touch of elegance and made me feel right at home.

I recently rented an apartment through Booking.com, and while the apartment itself was well-furnished, well-equipped, and nicely designed, there were some significant inconveniences that were not mentioned on the website. Firstly, there was no mention of the absence of a lift or the presence of stairs, which made it extremely difficult to carry our luggage during check-in and check-out. Additionally, the location on George street proved to be quite noisy, with disturbances from drunk people fighting and loud yelling until the early hours of the morning, making it challenging to get a restful night's sleep. Moreover, the booking process itself was quite frustrating. After booking the apartment, the owner of the company contacted me via email, demanding copies of our documents and selfies before confirming the booking. Furthermore, they required a deposit, and without it, they refused to confirm our reservation. This additional process made the overall booking experience exhausting and unnecessarily lengthy. I believe that it is crucial for Booking.com to ensure that all necessary details about the property, including any potential inconveniences or additional requirements from the property owner, are clearly communicated on the website. Transparency and accurate information are essential for guests to make informed decisions and have a hassle-free experience. I hope that this feedback will be taken into consideration to improve the booking process and the overall user experience for future guests. P.S. I kindly request that the deposit be refunded as soon as possible. Before leaving the apartment, I made a video of all the rooms to ensure there is proof that everything was left in its original condition. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

Within easy walking distance to all the main attractions in Oxford. Room was large and the bed was comfortable. Good amenities too.

It was above a cafe and a pub with a large restaurant across the road. Exceptionally noisy at night but particularly in the early hours of the morning when the bins were emptied or food and alcohol was delivered …. All before 6:30am! The apartment was hot but leaving the windows open at night meant even more noise. They also asked for a £250 refundable bond 3 days before arrival which came out of my account immediately but took 3 weeks to be reimbursed….and I had to call after two weeks and ask where it was! I didn’t think that was very good!

It was fantastic to be in a rental appartement where all the equipment just worked as it should and everything you expect to be there is actually present. Great central location, although that also comes with all the noises you expect from a central location of course.

If I really have to comment on something than they might want to clean the outside of the windows a bit more often.

The apartment was grubby and over priced.

The main bed was large and very comfortable. And that's about it.

It was central. But it was neither modern nor a gem. Front door opened to a vestibule with paint peeling (tacky but understandable with suitcase traffic). Outside noise through to the early hours from the bar downstairs. There was no soundproofing from street noise or from other residents walking / stamping up and down the stairs the front door of the building slamming. The double bed in the second room was very small, and not all that comfortable.

There was no parking and we got a ticket just with loading the car, while in the loading bay outside the building, at the end of the visit! It was very difficult to find the apartment as the flat number given on their description didn't match the reality. Fortunately the next door restaurant were able to help as so many previous visitors had had the same problem. It was noisy as there was no double glazing and students talking as they walk outside right into the early hours.

We stayed on the morning of rubbish collection day, so was woken up extremely early by the trucks. No double glazing in the bedrooms.
