Friendly place with nice cabins. The host is an asset. Cheerful, relaxed and great service. Fluent in French. 😊

I had a wonderful stay at PROKLETIJE Eko Katun while hiking the Peaks of the Balkans. Although it is about 1.7 km off the trail, the hosts kindly picked me up and brought me back to the trail, so the location was not an issue at all. This was by far the best food I had during the entire trek. The meals were delicious, the portions were very generous, and I especially appreciated the fresh vegetables, which are not always easy to find on the trail. The hosts were incredibly warm, caring, and attentive. They regularly checked whether I needed anything and made me feel genuinely welcome. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, making this an ideal place for a rest day. I highly recommend staying here. The hospitality, outstanding food, and transfer to and from the trail made it one of the best places on the whole route.

Best location!! Best people!! Cosy!! Clean!! Good food!!

In the middle of September, the nights were very cold, and the apartment had no heating. The indoor temperature could be almost the same as outside.
