This house was a perfect choice for a group of close friends to enjoy Chincoteague life for a week. It was roomy, clean, well appointed, and every convenience I could think of was available. Two fridges made it nice and easy to keep food on hand and lots of bevs cold. We were very appreciative to have deluxe beach chairs and fun toys to play with. The vibe is soothing and cozy and the open layout made it smooth to socialize and relax together after a long day beachin'. A gem.

All of us had an amazing time. 3 of my group have never been on a vacation and this was their first. They left with a very positive impression. Thank you. The home was super clean and conveniently in the right place to visit the island. Melany was always quick to respond with questions and requests. Looking forward to another vacation at this location. Neighbors were very friendly and kind!!

We had a nice weekend at this home. The layout was great and it had what youd need for a pleasant stay. However, when we arrived the place was not very clean. We picked up trash inside the screened-in porch, around the living room and even found a pill lying on the floor. We had a toddler and a dog with us so we thankfully found it before they did! The house is lovely, I just think it could use a little more careful cleaning.

This was the best furnished, nicest house that I have rented in Chincoteague. Everything you could want is provided. It’s on a peaceful street near the center of town. I got the optional linen service and was pleased.

My family and I have been coming to Chincoteague for 40 years. The house we normally rent for our group of 10 was not available. This house was an amazing substitute! It was absolutely beautiful. It was exactly as described. The layout of the house was open and bright. We had one small hiccup with the linens upon arrival, but i reached out to the owner and she was immediately responsive and resolved the issue. We will definitely stay here again.

The house was nice. Lots of mosquitoes. Property manager was extremely nice and responsive. Grass was tall but they came out right away and cut it. Cleaning people were after 4 finishing when we arrived and were rude about it. Overall a very nice vacation with family. I’d definitely come again. Horses were awesome. Restaurants good.

House was fine, needs some checking into..the sawn rugs in table area inside and picnic table outside can never be cleaned properly for dropped food...the stairs going up to second floor very slippery and at top there is nothing stopping a small child from falling..need step pads.. The backyard has dog dirt because neighbors (2 Trailers) allow their dog to wander into the yard. Beware !! If you bring a dog watch out for tics...There is a sign off Church Street on Willow that says "Tic Town' and they are not kidding..Again house was fine, TV even had HBO...Within walking to Towns Main Street..Take Captain Dans tours around the island and see lots of ponies..

The house was perfect! It was well appointed and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was very well stocked (pots, pans, spices, coffee filters, dish soap, and paper towels). The beds were comfortable with nice linens. The bathrooms were modern and the laundry room was equipped with new washer/dryer and ample laundry detergent. Overall, the house felt fresh and was immaculately cleaned.

Cute as a button with well stocked kitchen, comfy couch, quiet low traffic area with decor and nice finishes. We'll be back next year to craft and cook and go on nature walks.

The property is a new home in Chincoteague, and is accurately described in the listing. It was just the two of us, so we had plenty of room to spread out. It was comfortable, clean, and well located in the middle of the island, a couple of blocks from the pony penning.

This home is very clean and decorated nicely. Bed was comfy. We enjoyed the screened in porch. The house was stocked with a few essentials like spices and such. Close enough to walk into town.

This cottage was perfect for our family of 5 and our dogs! Everything that you could possibly need was furnished and then some . We appreciated the beach chairs and umbrellas . The kitchen was big enough to move around in and plenty of counter space . The endless hot water was a bonus ! We will stay here again on our next trip to the Island 😊

Great house and location in town
My family of 4 stayed for a week Chincoteague. The house fit our needs and I was happy with the amount of space we had. I loved the front screened in patio/deck. The weather was great, so there were may mosquitos and flies, so this space let us be outside yet bug free. We took advantage of a pet friendly house and brought our dog. I wished there was a fenced in area for him, but he was fine on the leash and we took him for 2-3 walks a day.
I loved that we could walk to the grocery store and to the shops and restaurants on Main St. It was a short drive to the Chincoteague wildlife area and beach.
Tips: Island Creamery is yummy and the line moves quickly! Surfside Golf is fun. If you want a less crowded beach area, get there early and park to the left, then walk north. We avoided the big crowded area and enjoyed the crabs in the sand and the dolphins swimming. Lots of shells found as we walked north. Salt Water Ponies was a great company to go out on a boat and see the ponies. We even saw a mom with her baby!
Would look to stay here again if we visit Chincoteague in the future!

I highly recommend staying here. Our host was professional and friendly and made the entire experience easy and comfortable. The home is new and very lovely. Extremely clean, all the conveniences you'd want, the beds, mattresses, and linens were luxurious and comfortable. The screened in porch was our favorite area where we would relax in the morning, drinking coffee or in the evening having dinner, while watching the residence ducks that frequented the yard. The location is within biking distance of the busy, waterfront, downtown area, yet tucked away where it was peaceful and quiet. I have no doubt we will reserve this home again when we visit the incredible eastern shore of Virginia!

Beautiful home with everything you could need to cook, explore Chincotegaue or stay in. Each room was well equipped, comfortable and updated. The appliances are good quality and amazing tankless water heater provided unlimited hot showers for our group. We would absolutely stay here again.

This is a beautifully decorated and maintained home. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were spacious and the open floor plan provided more than enough room for our group of 5 and 3 pets. The location is perfect. Just a short walk to the carnival grounds and Main Street. We look forward to visiting this lovely home again.

Everything I wanted for my Women's Retreat. Comfy beds, assorted places to sit n gather, a place to paint our craft on picnic table and convenient to stores and trails.

The house was amazing, clean and very comfortable. The beds and pillows were great as well as the couch to relax and lounge. The town was nice but a lot of Stuff was still closed. No dogs allowed on assateague, but the house itself was amazing.

Overall it was great. I think it’s a little odd that you have to pay extra for towels and sheets.... for the price we pay, I don’t know why the extra fee. I liked that we could bring our dog!
