Nice friendly host

The location is very convenient for the city of Es Cana. Two minutes from buses, cabs (necessary to cross the island without rental) and the beach. The exterior facade may be a bit surprising but the layout is cozy inside. We enjoyed swimming in the pool in the evening and the staff was very pleasant.

The cleaning was approximate, there were stains on the floor when we arrived, two cigarette butts on the balcony and it was very hot in the room (more than outside where it was already 30 degrees) until 10pm. Air conditioning would have been more than welcome. Our stay lasted 4 nights, the cleaning lady came only once and only to change our towels and give us a new plastic bag for the kitchen.

A bit boring to stay indoors mostly with the fact there was no TV and any form of media presence. The WiFi connection was diabolical and frustrating. Kept cutting intermittently. Would be a good accommodation if some little basics are put place. For example just TV or music system. I don’t think with the way it is right now I would ever come back to stay in future. Anyway, I am not writing this review to dissuade people from coming to this hotel but just a personal feedback for an improvement. If basic stuff like Tv and WiFi does not bother then it might be your thing. The air conditioner really worked for us and also the space of the apartment was great. Be informed there’s no parking with the apartment. The off street parking was a nightmare with no spaces however, there is a car park about 3 minutes work away from the apartment. The car park is cheap and safe.
