It was close to the train station and very convenient getting to the bus or metro for transportation. The apartment was lovely and a fun Japanese experience with tatami floors and futons in one room. It had a well equipped kitchen and overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Good location -- right on the river, super close to Keihan line, walkable to Kyoto train station, longer walk but doable to Kiyomizu temple (which we could actually see from the window in the distance) and also Shijo shopping area. Clean and comfortable. Shower/wooden bath a nice touch. Appreciated having a hanging rack to dry clothes (laundry machine in the apt) and a foldout dining table. The foldout couch was comfortable as a couch and as a bed which is kind of amazing.
