Nice location on Lake Huron. It is an interesting old building. The room had a blue jay theme.

Upon arrival, the door to our room would not latch or lock. The host said it would be OK because the outside doors lock. I didn't feel entirely comfortable with this. The bed in the Blue Jay room was quite hard and uncomfortable. The sink was ridiculously small, making it difficult to use without getting water on the floor. There was also no lighting over the sink--just bare wires. A larger sink was in the shower room, but it wasn't hooked up yet. The shower had a padded mat on the floor, which seemed odd. The ceiling fan (no air conditioning) made an annoying ticking noise on its lower setting. We could easily hear the guests talking in the room next door. Overall, it was an unpleasant place to stay, and we left a day early so we could get home and get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was good, though.

The breakfasts were different from what we usually have but very good.

We weren’t sure why we were scheduled to stay in that very small room in the first place but relieved when we were moved to the nicer bigger room.

Breakfast was one of the highlights. Anne was a tremendous cook.

The breakfast was awesome--thanks Candy! The location was great with the beach right there and a path/trail. The room was very comfortable and we look forward to staying again sometime. Thanks Cindy for being such a gracious host!

Great staff! They made us feel welcome and part of the family. You had a chance to socialize with all the other guests if you desire.

Rooms very small and not insulated. You can hear everything from the room next to you.

The location is unbeatable! Great place to enjoy Lake Huron, the beach and surrounding trails. The place is so cool and charming, highly due to the great hosts! Breakfast is also a great treat.
