I currently live in Maine and sought a brief winter escape to Pacific Grove a place I used to know and love. The Lover's Point townhouse was the perfect location with an incredible view of the ocean and proximity to the fantastic walking trail all along Monterey Bay. I spent many hours walking these trails and appreciating nature and the beauty and fury of the ocean. Huge storm while I was there kicked up very large surf and watching them crash along the rocky cliffs was mesmerizing. Walking first alone, then with my brother and his wife and finally with a woman introduced by a family friend. After 5 years alone as a widow I found love at Lover's Point. Wen Z was an amazing host very communicative and supportive throughout my stay. I highly recommend this Lover's Point Condo.

What a wonderful place!!! So homey and comfortable. Location was perfect and within walking distance to Monterey Aquarium, Cannery Row, numerous tide pools, and amazing beaches along the coast. Great neighborhood with so man shops and restaurants ! Would definitely stay here again! Extremely clean and easy check-in and check-out.

What a wonderful place!!! So homey and comfortable. Location was perfect and within walking distance to Monterey Aquarium, Cannery Row, numerous tide pools, and amazing beaches along the coast. It is hard to beat staying in a condo where you sit on the living room couch and watch whales and otters at the same time. This condo is directly across from Lover's Point with incredible views of the bay. The condo itself is clean, well-appointed, and spacious. Alex and Wen are great hosts as well!

My husband and I spent a month in Pacific Grove at Wen & Alex's place. We loved everything about our accommodations. Two bedrooms, two baths - gorgeous living room area & balcony overlooking Lover's Point on Monterey Bay. Washer and dryer in unit - a real bonus! You can not get better than this location!! Everything was walkable for us, whether it was up to the Pacific Grove downtown area chocked full of great restaurants & stores, to the Point Pinos lighthouse or to Cannery Row in Monterey.
Alex and Wen were incredible. So accommodating and always quick to respond to any of our inquiries.
The weather we had during the stay was very unusual for central California with rain (atmospheric rivers!), wind and unseasonably cold. The crazy weather did not dampen our time at all, as we hiked, visited and shopped all over the region. Alex would always check in to make sure everything was going well.
We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend anyone and everyone to stay at Wen and Alex's place!

This was the perfect place to stay in Pacific Grove, overlooking Lovers Point, a few blocks from quaint downtown Pacific Grove, and one mile from the Pacific Grove Golf Course (the poor man’s Pebble Beach). The apartment is very clean, well-appointed, safe, and comfortable. The view is spectacular. Highly recommended!!

Alex and Wen's condo was just the right size for my husband and me. The kitchen was well-stocked for basic meal prep, and it was very helpful to have the laundry facilities. The location across from Lovers Point Park provided beautiful views and a great place for casual walks and otter viewing! The park gets a lot of visitors and is full of activity, so it can be noisy during the day and evening but it does quiet down at night. It was easy to do a lot of day trips to Carmel by the Sea, Big Sur, Monterrey. Pacific Grove has a ton of great restaurants and shopping within walking distance. As other reviews have mentioned, this rental is not for those who have mobility issues as there are a lot of stairs, but this was not a concern for us. Wen was very easy to contact, but we did not encounter any problems during our stay! We would definitely stay here again.

I liked the convenience of staying across from Lover’s Point and enjoyed the beautiful views from our vrbo rental! The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed relaxing in the large living room with it spectacular view!
The property would be perfect except the mattress in the master bedroom was an uncomfortable soft foam. The second bedroom had a better firm mattress. I think the hosts need to upgrade the master bedroom mattress.
The property was clean and well decorated but the bathroom shower needed an upgrade.
I appreciated the electric space heater to use in the bedroom as it was quite a bit colder in the downstairs bedrooms at night than the upstairs and the main thermostat needed to be set too high if it was to go on.
We had a wonderful week in Pacific Grove and are looking forward to returning again.

Fantastic location just across the street from Lovers Point with a beautiful view from the balcony. Easy walking distance to downtown Pacific Grove (just a couple blocks up a hill), with many great bakeries, cafes, restaurants, and a local grocery store. Nice Pacific Grove farmer's market on Mondays. We brought our bikes and so had easy bike rides (10-15 minutes) into Monterey downtown, the Aquarium, Cannery Row, etc.
The property is well-kept, clean and spacious; each of the two bedrooms is a good size. We had two teenagers share one of the bedrooms and there was plenty of space for the both of them. Kitchen and kitchen appliances are all excellent for whatever you might like to cook.
Property owners are super-communicative and extremely organized. They met us upon check-in to show us around and were really flexible upon checking out. They had wine and chocolates for us upon arrival. And when any issue arose, they were extremely responsive. For example, the property management office put a lock on the garbage area because of dumping worries, and the property owners texted me right away.
The only small issue for us was that the property does not have a great place to store and lock up bikes. But there are ways to make do. Very easy in and out for the car, so we took the car out for multiple trips down to Big Sur without any issues.

So easy to live here. Comfortable and well stocked - we had everything we needed for the month. Location was perfect for us. But best of all is the view! - the constantly changing bay with an amazing variety of sea life. The hosts are great as well.

The property was great! We were there to see our son who is going to school at the Defensive Language Institute. He is in the Navy. He was on break and was able to stay with us. The property is in a great location. I would highly recommend.

The front bedroom facing Ocean View Blvd. was noisy, but we quickly adjusted and had no problem sleeping. May was a great time to visit as the flowers along the shore trails were beautiful! The location was very convenient for walking along the water and for getting to restaurants and shops. The front bedroom facing Ocean View Blvd. was noisy, but we quickly adjusted and had no problem sleeping. May was a great time to visit as the flowers along the shore trails were beautiful! Enjoyed the beautiful sunrises & sunsets. The coco has all the comforts of home and is nicely appointed. We were able to cook & enjoy the beautiful bay view & take a walk around Lovers Point. The condo is close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a great location and condo. Managers were easy to work with and very responsive. Had everything you could ask for. Living room and balcony overlook lovers point park and ocean. The bedrooms are located down stairs with very comfy beds. Would highly recommend and will be staying there again.

Out from the cold !
Apartment is part of a condo..... location is wonderful...... owners are responsive and welcoming...... we will return for sure.......
But, know that
The building is noisy due to lack of sound insulation and plumbing configuration.
If you are looking for a gated community...... the Forest Street gate lock may not to working.
The unit could use some minor maintenance and TLC.

beautiful view
Unit was very clean and had most of the amenities you'd find in a household. We're all in our late 60's and the stairs were a bit much on move in day, but we stayed a week so wasn't bad the rest of the stay. The view was amazing of lovers Point and the ocean and the unit is less than a block away. Owners were very helpful during the rental process as this was our first VRBO attempt. They set the standard.

Lovely spot
We enjoyed the ocean views and lovely home, and having the sea bluff trail right across the street. It felt very welcoming to arrive to a table set with nice linens, and similar thoughtful touches throughout the apartment. One minor annoyance was the lack of outdoor water for rinsing off all the inevitable sand and salt from Lovers Cove (there were lots of hose bibs that did not emit water, and no hoses; there was a small blue bucket in the entry closet which we used to ferry water from the kitchen sink, through the apartment, outside and downstairs to a drain in the pavement to rinse dive gear). The hosts quickly and cheerfully resolved any small questions or troubles we had over the phone.

Beautiful location!
This condo is in an awesome location. You can walk into Pacific Grove to shop, eat, grab some ice cream..... You can walk to the aquarium, wharf more restaurants and shops. Or you can sit on the balcony and watch the people, dogs, snorkelers and waves roll in. Take a drive along Big Sur and 17 Mile Drive. It's all right there. Perfect stay and perfect hosts.

Amazing Condo & Experience for My Family

Lover’s Point Pacific Grove
The location is perfect. I loved the view, and it was nice to hear the seagulls. I enjoyed my stay there. I will share that it is a small townhouse with steep stairs. (The bedrooms are located downstairs). So if you have knee problems, you may want to find something else. The unit comes with its own parking stall, but it’s tight getting into it especially if there is another car in the other space. I chose to park on the street, and discovered access to room #5 easier from the street parking. Across the street, there is a beach with kayaks to rent. Plus a large lawn area with statues. Great for a picnic or flying a kites. People were friendly and the atmosphere was upper class. There was a gorgeous coffee shop, and a lovely restaurant at that location. It was a great experience, and I would recommend staying there.
