The property is great for a large crowd gathering. We really enjoyed our time down at the river and hanging out outside. Plenty of rooms and restrooms. Plenty of activities to do while on property. A con that it was dated as far as bathrooms go and there was no extra bedding. It's exactly what to expect from a rental that hosts large crowds. We also were told check in was at 4:30 and we did not have a code to the house until 4:45ish. That wasn't a huge deal but be prepared if you're coming from out of town to call the host vs sending a message. The host was apologetic when he realized we had tried to contact him prior to check in and called us to give us the code.

This property was great! There is plenty to do on the property itself! Especially if you are there when it’s warm. Only feedback would be the deodorizer they used is very strong.

we hosted a bachelorette party here with a “camp” theme and this was the perfect location!! the vibes were great and it was perfect for a large group seating and space wise!

Great river location We utilized the outdoor fireplace in the evening and it was perfect I love that it was minimal furniture and excess decor to enable a cleanliness feel and not cluttered Great great spot

Wonderful location

We enjoyed our stay. It’s definitely something we would again do. Our family had an amazing time. There was little issues but Clayton is such an amazing host, he would fix it right away. Unfortunately due to to the cold weather we weren’t able to get in the river but will consider re-booking in a warmer season.

We really enjoyed staying here. Clay was a great host and easy to contact. He even came out to the house to bring something that was missing. The docks were awesome. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a large group gathering for Thanksgiving and had a fabulous time! Our only regret is that we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space as it was raining. But, the space was great for a group of 16 to spend the night. I appreciated the ability for kids and adults to have their own eating area with plenty of room to spread out. We would love to come back when the weather is warmer. Thanks to Clay for being so responsive to our needs. We hope to be back next year.

we went as four families and had a great time. it’s not a new/modern property and has an old charm with great outdoor space and activities. it’s right by the river and has its own set of kayaks/tubes to use. a sand volley ball court in the front, fire pit are great additions to outside acitivities. Seguin is a sleepy town so the main focus here was enjoying the great weather by the river and have kids spend time outdoors. this property served that purpose perfectly.

Nice ambiance. Our entire group had a blast in the river. Jumping off the dock using the rope swing, Kayaks and tubes. And jumping of that slanted tree was a highlight. The outdoor grill area was great for our gathering. We plan to go back to this place next year too. Grill and the deck could use some maintenance, but overall we loved this place.

Clay was very easy to contact & made sure we had everything we needed. We loved everything about this home & all the home came with. Such a perfect place to bring friends & family. We will definitely be back!!

The house was well stocked with toiletries and cool wear/spices and the location is hard to beat with the water being right in the backyard. Fantastic outdoor areas for grilling, volleyball, fire pit. Having the kayaks and tubes on site was clutch.

Our group of 12 loved our stay! Clay is an amazing host. The house is perfect for gathering and making memories. Rope swing, tree jump, volleyball, and an incredible patio for hanging out. Can’t wait to stay again!

Pictures don't do this property justice. Everything went really smooth and the property owner was very helpful. We spent most of the time down by the river doing the rope swing and jumping off the tree. We will be coming back soon.

Place was great. We had a great time. Plenty to do. Stores and eating places convenient.

The whole family created great memories! Swinging out into the water, jumping out of a tree, paddling down the the river, swimming, volleyball, grilling, spending quality time out on the porch. We enjoyed it all!

Weirdly laid out house with no big room inside to gather. Everyone of the blinds were broken. Only half the outside lights worked. The outside space and river was greatness though

The house is a great location. Our favorite part was swimming on the river for half the day! They have a rope swing, tubes, and kayaks to use which was awesome. The back part of the house does not get enough AC though, the unit had a hard time keeping up with the Texas heat. Overall great experience.

Awesome outdoor fun, right on the river, Quiet neighborhood. House had amble sleeping spaces. Bottom floor bedrooms were a little warm. (100* outside). Big living room, but Only 1 couch for seating. We had a group of 12. Overall it was a great family vacation👍

This was not our first time staying at this house and it didn't disappoint. Always a great experience.

All other reviews were spot-on! Home was very spacious for our large family and actually over spacious since some were not able to come so easily accommodates 20😊. As stated, it is an old home, but we truly appreciate the touches Clay made to make it nice for the holiday season. For us, this was an impromptu family gathering after a very hard year of loss and have yo be honest, you won't find anything at this price point any better. I Live in the San Antonio Area so a lot of gathering gs happened at my home and then we went to this spot at night for the amazing outdoor space and enjoyed smores and fellowship😊. Again, expectations were clear so literally only issue we had was no wifi; however, Clay was very responsive and even offered to come out and fix but it was Christmas and not something that kept us from totally enjoying ourselves! Would be amazing to stay here in the spring and actually get out on the water! And the home was sooo lovely, I hope they will renovate it sometime in the future to really make it the show place it can be...I say this eventhough it would likely be out of my budget to rent then😅😅😅. Calm with great golf course views right by the river. Nice out door fire pit for the s’mores, basic pantry essentials, plenty of parking and comfortable in home amenities made our stay memorable. Will come back in the future. Thanks!
