It was clean but smelled vintage. We enjoyed our stay. Keyless entry would have been phenomenal. Fun room/community rec room had games--you had to pay for with quarters--FYI. If you visit that place, bring quarters. Overall, it was good.

Well maintained and well equipped. You name it they have it. Very well organized keeping all needs of the vacationers on mind. Time your showers during non peak hours or hot water can run out when other units are also using like in the mornings.

Location is only 5 minutes from Eagle, near walking distance to restaurants. The 2nd floor space plus loft was great. It's not recently renovated, but works great for a weekend with friends. Would stay again.

This condo is located about 5 miles away from the slopes. It's pretty nice to have vons nearby. The condition of the condo was rather "less than decent". The pictures look amazing on the website but it does look old and outdated in reality. It seems to me that they don't really do a good job in cleaning and maintenance. the floor was dirty and even had used paper towels in living room. The rooms are nice and filled with ALOT of pillows everywhere which I think is nice. ( I just don't know how clean were they). One of the bathroom ran out of hot water in the middle of shower so of course I had to finish my shower ice cold. I could not find any wine opener anywhere or maybe its just really hidden somewhere prompting me to go to vons to get one. the fireplace was dirty. The electrical stove sucks and the pans to use for cooking suck. Nice location. Peaceful neighborhood. Id stay somewhere else next time

The rental was clean and enough room for 8 of us. Location was ideal...close to shopping and dining. Shower door in one bath was wobbly and tub stopper didn't work in other bathroom. I wish there were 2.5 baths instead of just 2.

Perfect Condo for our family vacationProblem with the front door lock. We were trapped in the condo due to a faulty Front door lock. Need to provide some basic tools After hours maintenance worker was not helpful And possibly intoxicated . My family and I had a great time in Mammoth Lakes and we definitely made the right choice by renting this condo. It was clean, well kept, provides a lot more than I expected when it comes to dishware and kitchen tools. It was great for the 8 of us! Conveniently located where the fun is in town! Would definitely rent it again next year if available!

Very nicely set up condo near the center of things with easy access to the bus line. Lots of room to spread out. The place was clean and well kept. Very nice entertainment and sound system. Internet was a little spotty but not bad. A suggestion for the first night is to turn up the heat early upon arrival. Since we got there later in the day it took a while to warm up.

We have been coming to Mammoth annually for the last 30 years. This is our 3rd stay at Horizons 4. Each time we have stayed in a different unit. We were at almost max capacity with a family group of 9. With 7 females in our group, we could have used one more bathroom! The unit was clean and in excellent condition. The kitchen had everything we needed. Parking was available just outside our unit and the big trash receptacles were close as well. Several of our friends also stay at Horizons 4 and we all get together at the picnic/bbq area for a potluck dinner. We're already looking forward to next year.

We choose this property, which was at the higher end of available options, because it looked roomy and had good ratings. The property was fine, however, the available photos made it look much larger than it is in person. And overall, it fell well short of other 5-star VRBOs where we have stayed. The main issues were that the property is aging and needs better upkeep and remodeling. For example, the showers and tub featured worn tile and outdated fixtures. In addition, some furniture like the king-size bed in the master bedroom was old, creaky, and uncomfortable--it's definitely time to purchase a new mattress! The other negatives were we could not readily use some of the amenities such as the TV, which included four separate remotes and no instructions, or the fireplace, which said to use the firestarter disks, but none were provided. In addition, I was expecting a quiet mountain experience, but on our first night, the neighbors next door and below us were both throwing loud parties that lasted until 2:00 am. On the plus side, check-in was simple and the location is convenient, but for the amount we paid each night, I would not stay here again.

great location that's walking distance to town. The unit was nicely furnished and clean, the only down side (a it's a big one) is that the jacuzzi was drained and under repair. We were not made aware of this prior to our stay and we would have considered changing properties because of it.

We had a great stay in Mammoth. Very good location. The layout of the unit was one of the best we've had. My only complaint/suggestion would be to provide a fan for the upstairs loft. The weather got hot (89 deg) when we were there and the loft never cooled down much even with windows open. I know not many units use AC, and it got warm in unit, but the draft from open windows helped downstairs. But not much good upstairs.
Beyond that, the unit provided everything we needed and was comfortable. The rooms were big. And we all had a good time. Thanks.

Mammoth Reservations has terrible customer service! There was no hot water and the TVs didn't work, and when we complained they basically told us, "Well, that stinks for you". They also accused us of lying about the problems. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!

The only thing that made me subtract a star is that the beds should be upgraded. Especially the one in the master bedroom is old, noisy, and quite uncomfortable. A wobbling old spring mattress. The rest was perfect. Enjoyed the property.Did not have the opportunity to check out the amenities due to COVID.

This property has a mixture of good and bad. The kitchen is stocked with everything one would need. Loved that! Lots of firewood for a great fireplace , comfortable beds and fabulous property management. Floors were not so clean, furnace in living clicks on and off all night even when turned off, bedroom doors squeaky which disturbs others at night, oven definitely needs to be calibrated.

Overall, the condo was nice and accommodated our group well; however, there were some issues. The carpeting on the exterior stairs up to the condo was torn and was a tripping hazard. The hard floors in the condo were not clean - they may have been lightly vacuumed, but hadn't been mopped in a long time. When we walked on the floors with our bare feet, the bottoms of our feet were black with dirt. The carpeting on the stairs up to the loft and in the loft was soiled and dirty. It either needs a deep cleaning or needs to be replaced. The towel holders in the bathrooms were not secured to the wall and were ready to fall off. The smoke alarm in the loft had been taken off and left on the entry table. Basically these are all maintenance issues.
