Well equipped kitchen, plenty of room and storage in the bedrooms. All rooms have AC

All mattresses were VERY hard. Only one sun bed which was on the terrace. No sun beds around the pool area.

Villa was lovely and spacious, and we were met by Fernando who gave us the keys and tour which was a lovely touch. The balcony was a great addition as was the pool area, although we didn’t use the latter. Location is great although I’d say a car is a must as there’s no quick shops to walk to. We felt safe walking to town and even home at night, takes about 25mins. From the villa you first walk down the Perogil estate to the main junction with the main road. This is the only ‘dangerous’ part. Cross and directly across is a tarmac path which winds down to the edge of town. This path is lit at night. We had a great stay and would recommend wholeheartedly.

The location looking out the hills of the region was stunning, the sunsets and night sky keep us out on the spacious roof terrace for hours, this also was used for breakfasts with views just as beautiful. The villa itself was in a small complex with a lovely shared pool and was very quiet and good for a cooling dip and sunbath, a 20min walk into town through the stunning neighbourhood full of luxury villas and across to a country lane brought you out in town by the bombeiro (fire) station. All very easy and accessible and a great place to base yourself. The hosts Fernando and Andreia were fantastic and only a call away if needed. Would definitely go back.

Maybe the addition of folding sun loungers for use by the pool would be something to consider. Can't really fault it so struggling to add any comments in this section
