Domus Plaza

The location is fantastic. Just step away from piazza duomo

The bed was uncomfortable. I think a better bed would make the stay more pleasant especially if you walk a lot and want good rest at the end of the day.

The view was beyond amazing, outside of both rooms that we had booked. There was a stunning view of the duomo, and we were close enough to hear live music every night in the plaza. It was at such a prime location for sightseeing positioned right outside the Duomo and exactly in between both the Uffizi and Galleria del’academia. We made several pitstops in between visiting locations because it was so convenient and we could cool off a bit in the air-conditioning, which was also amazing. There was even a phenomenal list of restaurant, grocery, Café, and bar recommendations, one of which we tried, and they served the best ravioli we have ever had. I could not recommend this place enough from the staff, the room, the location, the view; everything was perfect.

There was no elevator and we were on the top floor, but the struggle is beyond worth it.

The breathtaking view from the terrace.

Nothing

Excellent location, and the property facilities were very good.

The location is excellent, and the property itself is very nice. However, dealing with the manager, Elena, was extremely frustrating. Starting a week before my arrival, she repeatedly insisted that I send personal information, including my passport and photos, through WhatsApp, and repeatedly told me that I would not receive the access code unless I provided them. It felt almost like an ultimatum. Another issue was that my reservation had always been for one person, yet she kept insisting that it was for two guests. Just before I left, I even thanked her and told her that I would stay there again and recommend the property to my friends. Unfortunately, there was yet another unpleasant incident at the end. She asked whether I wanted an invoice; when I said yes, she became upset again and said that I should have requested it before check-in, along with various other complaints. The whole experience with the management was unnecessarily difficult and unpleasant. No matter how much I may like the property itself, I would not choose to stay here again.
