Such a quiet, wonderful quaint place to stay! We loved the privacy, and especially loved sitting out by the water. It was so peaceful.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and it was absolutely perfect. We loved everything about this home and the owners have it fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The view was breathtaking and we enjoyed the fire pit in evenings and the beach area at low tide. The house is close enough to Acadia and all the fun areas to explore, but private enough that it was so peaceful. The house was clean and the owner was great about communicating. We highly recommend this home.

This was an ideal spot for a peaceful vacation. The chairs near the water were my favorite spot for morning coffee and star gazing at night. Comfy bed too!

This was a wonderful cabin. It is very well appointed and made for a great stay. It is about 30 (easy) minutes from Bar Harbor. It is well equipped. It has a great view of the sound with a fire pit and a nice seating area. Both porches are great. One is screened in with a small table for eating outside. The other porch is great for reading and just enjoying the view and the outdoors.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house is well located for visiting Acadia and for local hikes. It's a really beautiful setting, with a view of the water and lots of wildlife to watch. Aaron and Jen were great hosts - helpful, quick to respond and they had given a lot of care to equipping the kitchen and household with everything we could possibly need. We'd love to come back and stay again some time. Highly recommended!

It was a nice week in the cozy cabin! It was the perfect fit for our small family. The location was nice with the water view but away from the busy tourist area. We didn’t mind the short drive to Acadia each day.

So enjoyed our time here. House was clean, well stocked with everything we needed and more. The views are amazing, the chairs by the water were used for many hours of relaxing along with the deck and screened in porch. Very private and secluded. Bed very comfortable. If your first time there pick up your groceries first etc. Little bit of a trek in and out. (Walmart on the way) If you want Lobster close Ruth and Stumpy's was great. If you go to Bar Harbor, The Chart Room ( Best 2 meals ever) Try the Lobster stew. Would stay again.

Everything about this place was just perfect! The location offers seclusion and amazing scenery, but was only about a 30 minute drive into Bar Harbor. The cabin is equipped with everything you could need. I would highly recommend this location to anyone wanting a home base away from the crowds.

The bed was comfortable and TV great. Played games on the porch every afternoon. Grilled out most nights but also enjoyed Finn's Irish Pub and Helen's Restaurant. I shot a 7 on the 17th hole at Kebo Golf Course in Bar Harbor beating President Taft by 20! We would definately recommend this house and plan to return. One caution drive slow on the road and watch for the deer they are everwhere!

This is a lovely home in a beautiful part of Maine. The house overlooks the bay. We enjoyed eating our meals looking at the water. It is very quiet. From the house, you can't see other houses. It was a nice place to kayak--you can rent one and have it delivered. We spotted bunnies, deer, and wild turkeys around the house. The house has nice furniture. Although we didn't work, there is a nice area to work in and good wi-fi. The kitchen is well equipped. We brought quite a lot of our own kitchen equipment, which we did not take out of the box. The owners have been thoughtful about providing everything a visitor may need. The potted herbs just outside the door is a lovely touch. The area is very nice. You can go to Acadia National Park and the Blue Hill peninsula. Ellsworth was also nicer than we expected. It has all the big supermarkets, but also some nice shops and restaurants. Lemoine has a small beach. We had a really nice stay. Highly recommend it.

Place was as nice as we expected it would be. There are some wonderful views just at the back of the house. Every morning we were welcome by outstanding sunrise. We felt very comfortable in there. Highly recommended!

It’s a peaceful little retreat in a quiet area nestled amongst the woods with beautiful sunsets and sunrises every morning . Would definitely stay here again it’s charming , Nadine Perlman

My experience with this rental was amazing. Quick easy in and out. Everything you could possibly need while there and only 30 minutes from Acadia park! We will be back next year and can’t wait!!

If you want a place very calm and quiet, this is a really good spot. Every property of the neighborhood seems to have a large land so you don't really notice the presence of neighbor. The cottage was just perfect for our family (2 adult and 1 child) with the open space and the porch on the front. You can eat outside with no rain or moustiquos so it is very usefull. The cottage was clean and the process was pretty simple with the owners. We loved our trip at Lamoine/Bar Harbor, the national park is something to see

My wife, and I and our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The design is really interesting and comfortable. Everything to make a our stay comfortable was provided. Its location 30 minutes from Great Desert Island and Bar Harbor was convenient, yet we were far enough away to avoid the crowding situation on Great Desert Island. We strongly recommend this property.
