This was my first time renting with VRBO and all went very smoothly. We arrived about an hour early and we were met and were able to check in immediately. It was so nice to be able to check in after a long day of air travel. The house is beautiful and accommodated our family of 12. The kids enjoyed wading into the water. We enjoyed coffee sitting on the Adirondack chairs. The separate ice machine on site is great.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at "Life in Gruene". The listing, pictures, and description were just as they described. The house fit all of our needs, and the kids had a wonderful time making smores, playing ping pong, and playing in the river. There is so much to see and do around this house that none of our family was bored. Thank you again for a wonderful stay! Would highly recommend this house for a family.

The house was the perfect size for us and the location was great. Our only complaint is that the hot water did not work in the upstairs bathroom, and there was no central air in the small bedroom on the first floor.
