The Feathers

Great hotel, easy parking, splendid town centre location.

Breakfast was not hot, in fact almost tepid, a little disappointing really.

Check in was quick and easy and I was greeted positively. Finding my room took a few minutes but that was fine. My room was a decent size and seemed clean and well put together. The breakfast was also good. I had a full breakfast on the first day and scrambled egg on the 2nd day. The eggs were slightly too salty for me but overall was good and the wait time was not long at all. There was a good variety of food including cereals, toast and also gluten free options. Checkout was easy any took no longer than a minute.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable and I suggest the mattresses are checked as I didn’t sleep well both nights due to this. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Location great, enjoyed the breakfast and had a meal here in the evening, also very good. Staff friendly, hotel clean. The bed was very comfy. We have stayed before and will book this hotel again.

Staff friendly and polite. Breakfast good.

Room cramped, tired and needs a refurbished. No hot water on arrival because boiler had cut out because of low water pressure.
