Ocean Breeze was a wonderful house. It was a group of 16 and we all were super comfortable. The pool is a good size. Only 2 tiny things the third floor is a very warm area, and the outside grill pool area has no covering for the sun. But other than that, very spacious. The kitchen has plenty of utensils and cookware. My mother was happy with a bedroom on the 2nd floor because the beds were adjustable, and she was able to sleep very comfortable. The private beach was a plus and the beach entrance very close to house. We had an issue with the golf cart and the office had the problem resolved with hours. We were very happy staying at Ocean Breeze.

We have rented homes for our family vacation for the last 8 plus years. This is the first home that has been immaculate! We where all impressed with the cleanliness! We also have great customer service. We had an issue with the ice maker and they came promptly to fix it. There was only one downside to this home. They only had one refrigerator so we where running to the store every other day. Otherwise, this place is perfect. We already booked for next year.

House was wonderful and clean. All beds were so comfortable, and we had 17 people! Golf cart was the best! AC kept whole house cool in 85+ degrees. We had plenty of gathering space on main floor! Salt water pool was amazing! Kitchen was totally stocked and all appliances worked wonderfully! Top floor balcony ocean view was amazing and a wonderful breeze! Great for morning coffee! The beach access was amazing, private beach for us was incredible because public beach part was Packed! I would recommend this home to anyone. We used every bed in this house! That's how many people we had. (My parents, aunt, and siblings with their families all stayed). We all slept comfortably. The open great room helped keep everyone together. The couch was comfy and the dining table large. William, the property manager, was friendly and helpful. He called during our stay to check on us. I mentioned some loose door handles just to let him know as they weren't bothering us, but wanted to inform him. Dan and Cody came right away to fix them. They were kind and respectful. Our family tries to stay together each summer and this was a great experience. The kids enjoyed the pool in the afternoons and my aunt who typically can't join us at the beach because she walks with crutches was able to enjoy it in the pavilion at the entrance of the beach. The golf cart that was included was very convenient too! Loved being in the private neighborhood. The only downside of our experience was the traffic on the island and that the wait for restaurants the night we wanted to go out was 2 hours plus. We tried to make reservations, but it seems no one on the island takes reservations. Obviously this is not their fault but just a heads up for those who like to dine out. Thankfully that did not affect us too much. Overall a great stay!

The house was very clean and roomy enough for our extended family of 19. This was our first time to this area and while it is more touristy than we prefer, we were thankful for the quiet of this neighborhood. Several lots are still under construction which affects the overall aesthetic of the neighborhood. I imagine this will improve with time. We had a few small maintenance issues which were addressed while there. A few suggestions for improvement would be additional mirrors in the bedrooms, more towel hooks in the bathrooms, and a little more seating in the living room. We felt we got what we paid for- the home is lovely and probably has the best stocked vacation kitchen we’ve ever visited.

Quiet and clean for this area
The house was very clean and roomy enough for our extended family of 19. This was our first time to this area and while it is more touristy than we prefer, we were thankful for the quiet of this neighborhood. We have been coming down to Destin for over 25 years. I am very reluctant to stay at a different house. Do not like to change. I was wrong. The house was very clean and everyone had the own personal space. We heated the pool, which came in handy for the little ones could swim. The golf cart came in handy to get to the beach. The owners and the management company were very personable and would bent over backwards to make sure our trip was fantastic! I would highly recommend this property.

This house was wonderful for our whole family. We had 9 adults 1 teenager 3 kids and 1 infant. The rooms worked out perfectly and we all felt we had our own space. The pool was wonderful we were in it daily and the beach was right around the corner. We walked to the beach and used the golf cart. Would definitely recommend!

Lots of privacy to have your own space away from the downstairs gathering area with the multi-level design, porches, balcony and backyard. Pool security along with the backyard detached from the rest of the house felt very secure with our 2 year old grandson.
Beds were so comfortable I would rent the house for the mattresses alone! House is immaculate! Love the high grade selection of kitchen items and dishes as we are a family that loves to cook.
Location is surprisingly not far from the beach - we actually preferred to walk than use the golf cart.
The property managers were the perfect host. We have never experienced such a concierge service renting with any other vacation home! The professionalism and ease made the rental so easy to manage. This is to be an all time favorite home for our family! We definitely plan to be back.

Great family place

Excellent Beach House
The house was perfectly located within minutes walk to the beach. The property provided a Golf cart and bikes , beach chairs and umbrellas which was awesome.!!!! The house was very clean, very nice decorations , lots of space for all of us, the pool was very clean too. The beautiful view from the top floor balcony was very romantic and perfectly also to do some morning workouts. This house is fabulous and we will definitely come back . We stayed in this home for 6 weeks, Excellent choice as its close to the beach and the neighborhood of GulF Pines is a hidden gem. Neighbor next door is very kind and what you would expect from a place you are staying. Location was close enough to the tourist area but perfect location to either direction as there is so much to do in the area. House is in good shape was 100% clean and the owners of the property management company were also available and responded immediately. They are everything you expected them to be. House is a perfect place from location to have a quiet place to just enjoy life.

We had an awesome time, the house was perfect for our group. Everyone loved the lay out and accommodations. Quick walk to the beautiful ocean, and a great view from the top balcony of the ocean. Ocean Breeze is a perfect name, you could feel the breeze from the ocean to the house! Super pool and the kids stayed wet all week, between the beach and the pool. We had 4 families that stayed on this vacation, 8 adults and 13 children (3 years-16) and the house was perfect! We didn’t realize when we booked just how AMAZING the private beach access would be. The public beaches were extremely crowded and our private beach was so spacious! So much so that private beach access is now a requirement for any future vacation. The outdoor area was wonderful and where we spent the majority of our time. Kids swam constantly, the adults loved the pergola, and we took advantage of the gas grill a few times. We loved that the area was very quiet, yet still close to anything we needed. We would stay at this place again in a heartbeat. Frangista was very attentive and checked in to make sure everything was going well. You won’t regret this property!

Great stay - nice neighborhood - private beach!
6 adults and 4 kids, plenty of room!
- The house is big and comfortable and clean enough- I never feel like rentals are spotless, but it was in fine condition upon arrival.
-Due to the pandemic we ate every meal at the house & had enough room for 3 in the kitchen to make meals - the kitchen is not huge, but fine for maneuvering if making big meals. The grill has a gas line which is very convenient, too. There is a mini fridge upstairs for extra cool-storage.
-The house has two golf carts parked in the driveway. They should consider renting with the house for an additional fee!
-The pool is very nice! Great size and there is plenty of seating around it. The outdoor shower made rinsing off easy. We loved the flyovers of the military planes practicing during the day, too.
-There is a gas fire pit. We made s’mores one night which was fun for the kids.
-The neighborhood is very nice, quiet, safe and clean. Mix of owners and renters- new builds and older homes. The locals are incredibly friendly. One offered beach toys for our kids to play with if we needed them as we walked by her home on our way back from the beach, and two different people offered my parents in their late 60’s a ride home on a hot day from the beach. Renting a golf cart would be wise if you have kids and a lot of stuff, however, there is lots of parking by the beach. The walk is totally manageable and easy without beach gear.
-The private beach is very nice. We were so pleased. It was very easy to socially distance and we never felt like we had to “fight” for space.
-They provide two umbrellas and some chairs. We didn’t use their chairs- but the umbrellas were great. We brought one, so it was nice to have the additional 2.
-Due to Covid they removed beach towels. Linens are also dry cleaned which is nice but the bedding is very simple - sheets and a thicker blanket. Again, due to Covid and all linens having to be dry cleaned, so I understand- but setting expectations.
-Rental company was nice to work with. Things have been stressful with the pandemic, and they did their best to keep us updated. They checked in mid-way through our stay which was a nice touch.

Wonderful house on a hill sleeps 24 and gave us all enough room to come together for a well needed escape to the beach. We loved the pool and the ability to eat inside or out. Enough dishes to feed a large crew. The non stick pots could be updated however. The beds were fabulous. The cleaning crew did a wonderful job ahead of our visit and couldn't have been nicer as we met them on our departure. The walk to the beach isn’t too bad, a golf cart would have been handy for the older guest we had in our group and the beach gear. The private access beach was the best especially when you note how crowded the beaches can be in front of the high rises further East. The property management company was incredibly attentive and so easy to work with. Great quiet location for a large family and friends to come together. We didn’t want to leave and we can’t wait to come back!

Great location and house for family vacation. Short walk to the beach.
Beautiful house in a nice neighborhood. The house was clean. Short walk to the beach. The beds were comfortable and the house included a huge supply of beach towels. My biggest reason for a 4 stars rather 5 is that the dryer wasn’t drying clothes well. It took us about 2-3 hours to dry one load of laundry every other day. Overall, it was a great house and the check out instructions are basic and easy.

The place was nice. Not sure how clean. Within three days four of our party were sick. Two of us went to Urgent Care with upper respiratory infections in Destin. The pool area had not been cleaned when we checked in. We swept it as best we could with the tiny broom. Debris everywhere. No one ever came to clean the pool or pool area. I reported that on Thursday, since they were suppose to come Wednesday. We were there all day. Still no show. Pool looked clean on bottom but had a chalky/scum look at surface indicating it needed cleaned. Loved the area. Rooms were nice and big enough for our party. You might want cleaning service to clean with anti-bacterial wipes after cleaning. We were all okay until we arrived there. Came from different locations/states. Funny how we all got it at the same time. Made for not so fun vacation being sick.

Our stay at Ocean Breeze was wonderful. The house was excellent. The living area was large enough for all of us to enjoy each other. The kitchen had everything we needed and we used the gas grill twice. The bedrooms were nice. The mattresses were comfy. We all enjoy the saltwater pool for hours every day. The beach was just around the corner. We drove down to the beach because of the heat. There was lots of parking. The private beach was so nice. Not crowded like the rest of the beach. Frangista Beach Properties management was great. They checked in with us a few days ahead of our stay and on our arrival day. Mid week they gave a call to make sure we had everything we needed. I liked that. We would love to come back to Ocean breeze again!!

Wonderful vacation
Ocean Breeze is all we hoped it would be and more! The home was spacious and comfortable. It was a short walk to beach and the private pool was great. We would definitely stay here again.
