My husband, our dog and I had a wonderful stay at Eric’s rental in Southwest Harbor. The listing was as described and served as a perfect, peaceful location for us to rest and relax while exploring Acadia and the surrounding towns!

This was our first time using VRBO. Traveled with my father and son. This rental was great and allowed us to relax and spread out. Very quiet street, clean and well kept house. Very close to southwest harbor and a short ride to park loop and attractions. It was nice to be on the “quiet side” of Mount Desert Island. Would stay here again. Easy to get into house and owner answered any questions quickly.

New home in a quiet location within walking distance of Acadia National Park trails. Short drive to the center of Southwest Harbor and a public golf course. Nice new appliances and very clean. There is no air conditioning, but it was not necessary with the cool Maine air. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Perfect place for a family of four. Clean, well stocked kitchen, great deck on the upper unit. We didn’t mind being away from the craziness of Bar Harbor.

Lovely property in Southwest Harbor. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our family of four adults. I appreciated the excellent communication from Eric. Wish we could have stayed a couple more days. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely new house, in a beautiful setting, right in the vicinity of everywhere you'd want to go in Acadia and Bar Harbor and it's very dog friendly too! This house is set in a pine forest with fledgling gardens, a corn hole court and and nice seating area. The kitchen and pantry are well stocked--better than anyplace I have stayed before, making it easy to settle in for some fun. There is a huge deck that our dog loved to be on to bask in the sun. The property is very thoughtfully designed with motion-sensitive lighting in the closets, pantry and exterior, lots of windows, effective ceiling fans in every room and easy shared laundry facilities. The furnishings, large dining set and beds are comfortable with soft linens and the bathroom has plenty of towels and other necessities. Lastly, the house is 2 minutes from the shops and restaurants in Southwest Harbor, 15-20 minutes to the heart of Acadia and a bit further to Bar Harbor. The owner is pleasant to communicate with and set everything up to be easy. Should we return to Acadia we will stay here again!

Stayed at this home with my 2 kids (12 and 15). The house was perfect for us: clean, comfortable, well-stocked with everything we could need, and in a quiet neighborhood. Deck is beautiful and great for relaxing in the evening. We went to Acadia and hiked every day. The house was very conveniently located for this. It’s about 20 minutes to Hulls Cove visitors center where we parked every day and took the Island Explorer bus to various trailheads. Host was great with communication before visit and responds quickly. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again

We stayed for four nights and the location was convenient to Southwest Harbor and a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The kitchen was well equipped and was a perfect size for a family of four.

Very clean. Eric was a great host. This location was 15-20 minutes to everything on the island with a grocery 5 minutes away. It was nice to come back and cook a meal or two in house to save some money. The house is equipped with everything!!! A must stay!

This was our first time renting via VRBO and our first trip to Southwest Harbor, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The property and communication with the owner was everything we could have hoped for. We will definitely recommend it to others and hopefully make our way back in the future!

We had a great time at this property. The apartment was clean, and stocked with a fridge, laundry, extra fans if we got hot, and extra blankets if we were cold. It was remote and quiet which is what we were looking for. We had a rainy day in and the place was cozy and the dining table was perfect to do a puzzle! Definitely recommend staying here. Owner was super responsive and informative in a timely manner.

This property was located in a beautiful, quiet setting. We loved how close it was to Acadia and Bar Harbor but appreciated that it wasn’t in Bar Harbor. The space was comfortable and very clean with a nice, spacious deck. Highly recommend.

We were so comfortable at Eric's beautiful property, which was brand new, sparkling clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could think of -- from electric fans in the bedrooms, to a water filter in the fridge, to a dog bowl (though the place was so spotless you'd never know dogs sometimes stay there). All the switches were carefully labeled and the access instructions were clear and simple. We also appreciated all the helpful info about Acadia and the area. All around it made for a very pleasant and carefree stay.

We had a wonderful time staying here during our visit to Bar Harbor/Acadia. The condo was clean, quiet, and well stocked. The home looked to have been recently built. It was an convenient home base for exploring the area and we were able to get to most of the major attractions in ~20 min drive. Our dog also enjoyed the backyard and hanging out on the patio. We had a great time and would absolutely recommend!

Convenient to SouthWest Harbor and Bar Harbor, this immaculate home is well appointed and we had a wonderful stay. The owner is extremely responsive and couldn't be better.

Great place if you're seeking privacy in a rustic setting. We rented the 2Br/1Ba upstairs unit for 2 nights. It was perfect! Very clean and well appointed. We found it better than advertised (which is rare). Everything was in order so we didn't have to bother Eric. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Secluded property in a quiet neighborhood. Quick drive to nearby Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Great for a couple, but easily accommodates a group of 4. The property owner is a great communicator and easy to get ahold of. We will definitely be seeking out this property if we are ever in the area again.

Having a place to call home for a week that was secluded and quiet and in a such a gorgeous location was just what we needed! The house was fantastic, very clean and well kept. We were close to groceries and restaurants, and getting to Acadia trails and places was very convenient! The owner was very responsive and informative! We loved this property and hope to be back one day, it was just perfect!!

This apartment was in a great location-very close to a trail that we actually did as soon as we arrived!! The apartment was clean. The check in and check out process was seamless. We had a great time!

New, clean, well appointed property on the quite side of the island. Great place to come back to after a long day of hiking. Shops and restaurants of Southwest Harbor, grocery store and lots of lobster pounds within a few minutes drive. A really nice trail less than half a mile down the road. Couldn't ask for a better place for a week at Acadia.

The house and location was top notch! The house was clean with just the right amount of decor, not cluttered with knick knacks. We loved being on the quiet side of Mount Desert Island while still having quick access to trails and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family of four fit comfortably. We loved the outdoor patio and chaise lounge for reading. Very peaceful location and convenient to Acadia!

Our family of 4 spent 4 nights at this property. It was clean, close to shops, restaurants and the park (but not too close) and included everything we needed for a fun trip! We would (and hope to) definitely return! Grateful for the hospitality!
