Oceanfront, private beach and pool and convenient snack business

One of the worst places, I had the worst experience. It's so noisy if you are staying in a lower floor unit period. You can hear every step and stumping of the units upstairs. I would never stay in this location again. Not worth it.

Way over priced, parking was difficult. I had to park in the street, parking lot was not spaced out well.

Area. Bed comfy. Easy private access to the beach. Free parking.

Not what I had booked. Had booked room with ocean view. Patio area to walk through to beach felt awkward walking through, especially at night when there was a large party going on with obvious alcohol consumption. One guy peed just past benches at night. Lights right outside door attracted small bugs so when door opened, they flew in. Woman who checked me in seemed to be put out by having to do so.. Found container of hand sanitizer behind the mini fridge. Supposed to have snack bar though no one told us where to find it.

The woman at the front desk was not nice and very grumpy. None of bedside outlets or lights worked. No microwave.

The property had its own private access to the beach, which made it especially relaxing.

The parking onsite was very tight.

Bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean

the women that works in the office and others are not the most friendly people we asked where the microwave was that our room was to have she fist said let her finish her cigarette...then while actually helping said she has no idea where the microwaves are and we needed to wait for the cleaning people show up which of course wouldnt be there till the next day....like really snotty...thank God the cleaning people were nice and bought it to us after I hunted them down...

Was nothing to dislike

The motel had a nice courtyard area to sit and relax in. Having it's own private beach was the best, even if it needed to be cleaned up a little.

Other then some trash on the beach, there wasn't anything we didn't like. The changing room could have been cleaner as well.

We love everything about the property. It’s location, the pool, the picnic tables, snack bar, the owners…

Room was clean. Pool are was maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is tight but manageable.

Parking is tight. Room price was alittle high but I guess in this economy it's to be expected.

Clean and modern rooms. The private beach is also a very nice feature.

It was great having the beach and the pool so close. we really enjoyed it.

No coffee pots in the room.

My fiance and i used to stay at the Driftwood whenever we would visit Point Pleasant. However, on our last stay they charged me double. So my card was charged $217 TWICE. We stayed ONE night, there should have been no reason for a double charge like this. I have reached out to Driftwood MULTIPLE TIMES, each time they had no idea about the situation so i had to re explain what had happened, then they gave me a personal phone number to whoever handles these types of problems, the manager i’m guessing? Their responses were days apart, and said they’d look into it. All of this led to nothing at all, no refund, nothing to make up for my missing $217. To top it off, I literally had just given birth to my baby girl less than a month ago, so missing $217 is not ideal in my situation. Oh, i also reached out to Booking.com who also has not been helpful or helped me retrieve my money. This trip to the beach while i was pregnant was supposed to be a nice, quick getaway and now i just regret going at all. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!
