Two sets of families stayed with kids ranging from 4 to 14 and we had a great time. Beach is close by and the pool was great. Quiet neighborhood but have access to anything you need. Enjoyed fishing on the beach and renting a pontoon boat on the Sound. Would recommend it.

This was not only our first family vacation, but also our first vacation in NC. It was perfect! The house was BEAUTIFUL, had plenty of space and something for everyone! Will and Allison answered all questions we had and were wonderful hosts! The beach was easy/close to get to, and food lion near by. We had a blast and made lots of memories!

Our stay at this lovely beach house was amazing. There was plenty of space to gather and also room to spread out when people wanted some time to recharge. Located close to the Shad beach entrance made coming and going easy. The pool was great for a midday swim or relaxing post beach. The house is well stocked with extras having everything we needed throughout the week. The kitchen had anything you might need. The screened in porch was perfect for lunch or teaching my kiddos how to crack crabs. Our family loved exploring the game closet and book shelf. There are beach chairs and boogie boards provided, but the chairs are the thinner metal ones, so adults may prefer to bring their own as we did or rent some. My oldest loved learning to skim board and that wouldn’t have happened if not for amenities provided. Overall, the place was perfect for us and we plan to return again!

Our family consisted of 4 generations… a 9 mo old infant, 4 kids between 6-11, my elderly mom of 86 yrs., and 4 adults in their 30’s and their parents in their 60’s. There was room for everyone and great accommodations for all.
The stairs gave all of us a workout but no one complained bc each floor was entertaining in itself! We loved being so close to the beach, having such a relaxing and fun pool to enjoy, puzzles to put together, lots of games to play, huge dinner and game table that 10 could sit at, a wonderful comfy couch that everyone could sit on, Oh, and a basketball hoop too!
The family enjoyed ghost crabbing and hot tub soaking in the evenings.
The Gaskins were great hosts and easy to work with. They provided everything we needed to have a great week! We would love to return again some day!

This was our second stay in this lovely home. So many positives... a great pool, and close to the beach. Games are available at the house, both indoor and outdoor (ping pong and corn hole. ) The recently renovated kitchen is perfect for cooking for a large family. Highly recommend.

This is a great property. The rental seems to be managed by the owners with an extra attention to detail. We have stayed at properties in the past that are obviously managed by companies that do the bare minimum, and this is not one of them.
Definitely would stay again!

I will start off by saying Will & Allison were exceptional hosts. They were very responsive throughout the booking process and any questions we had during our stay. The process was made extremely easy.
Upon arriving, they sent us a list of their favorite places and things to do here! It was so helpful. We took our jeep to the 4x4 access & we’re able to see the wild horses, what an incredible experience! & They even left a gift card to their favorite coffee shop-( thanks so much, you guys!
The house was VERY clean.
The walk to the beach was fine.
The pool was great!
Everything we needed/wanted was a close drive (food lion, historical park with food & coffee options, 4x4 access)
The entire house was so well stocked- kitchen & laundry room had everything you could think of plus more.
The only thing that would’ve made this vacation better was staying longer!!!! Thanks Will & Allison for an amazing first trip to Corolla. We loved your home!

This property was all we needed and more for our OBX stay. The location was right next to a public access spot, which made it super easy to get to and from the beach. The home came with all the amenities for the beach (chairs, umbrellas, etc.) -- just bring your own beach towels -- and more. The outdoor shower was great for a rinse after the beach or pre-pool or hot tub (both were very clean and well maintained).
The hosts were incredibly communicative and the check-in process was super easy. They also reached out to give us ideas and options for food/activities in the area. Don't miss walking/biking to the Northern Lights Bakery! They also had an extensive book shelf, with books for all ages and plenty of deck space to retreat and find a spot to sit quietly and read.
The home accommodated the 9 of us (4 adults, 5 children) comfortably and gave us plenty of space to unwind and enjoy our vacation. Highly recommend!

The house is beautiful and conveniently located close to the beach. The house was clean and nicely maintained. There was a multitude of things we could use, including kitchen appliances, beach chairs and boogie boards. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property with our friends and their young children! The house was just as described, with everything we could need! The beach was very accessible just up the block at the Shad Public Access, and it was an easy walk with the kids. We also loved spending time at the pool with our little ones! Will and Allison were wonderful hosts! They were super responsive, answered all our questions very promptly and provided all the information we could need about check-in/check-out and taking advantage of the local area. Thank y’all for a wonderful stay! We definitely recommend this property to folks looking to enjoy the OBX!

Perfect for the active family!
The location just can’t be beat, so close to the beach, and the pool is a lovely alternative, crystal clean and well-tended. The house is stocked with many recreational items for indoor and outdoor use, including a games, puzzles, a ping pong table & a couple of bikes. There are several places to gather on decks at the front and back of the house with plenty of comfortable seating.
The house offers many bedrooms & bathrooms, yet functions well when quiet and privacy are desired. The kitchen is well-stocked and we found everything in good working order.
Corolla is a nice family friendly spot on the Outer Banks. I hope this property will be available for our next OBX week.

New Memories
From start to finish, this was a great vacation. Weather was perfect. Water was great. We enjoyed the ocean, pool and hot tub. Built sand castles. Flew kites. Fished, went shrimping and crabbing and enjoyed site seeing and biking. Ghost crabbing at night on the beach and even had a deer visit the back yard.
The house was well stocked and comfortable. The Gaskins were excellent hosts.

Beautiful beach house
Will and Allison's beach house in Corolla was the perfect location for our family. The house is stocked with books and games. The view of the ocean from the back deck is beautiful. The beach is barely even a five minute walk away. The kids enjoyed collecting seashells and looking for the crabs in the sand at night.
When we come back to the Outer Banks, we'll stay here again!

Beautiful home, excellent service
We booked this house last second for Labor Day weekend — it was our first non-oceanfront rental in OBX after years of coming here. The home was beautifully decorated, conveniently located, and the perfect size for our family. We were pleasantly surprised by the well-curated library (for both adults and elementary-age kids) and found the oversized laundry machines to be a great luxury for a week at the beach. Best of all, we found the owner to be incredibly responsive and informative. Definitely recommended.

Wonderful beach trip
We had a wonderful time! This was our first trip to OBX and with a baby! We also had friends join us for the week. The owners contacted us regularly if there was any information we needed and were great. The location was awesome. It is right beside the Public beach access making the beach easy to access and not far from shops and places to eat. We really enjoyed our week and hope to return in the future!

A beautiful home with plenty of space for 13 people. The owners were great to work with and responded very quickly if we needed assistance with something. I would definitely recommend this place for a rental. My family had a great overall experience!

The location of this house is wonderful. It is closer to the beach than I thought it would be with just a short walk. It is also really close in proximity to shopping and dining. This is one of the cleanest rentals we have stayed in. The pool was really nice and enjoyable. The beach chairs, bikes etc. were a nice added touch. The owner was very helpful and responsive. In addition, the house has a great binder of information that was very helpful throughout the week.

Everything you Need and More
We had an excellent stay at the beach house. The house itself was very clean and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. Beach and pool toys / items were also supplied which is a big plus.
The location couldn’t be better. Basically one street away from the beach and a quick drive to several top notch restaurants and other fun spots. Having a pool on site also sets it apart from other houses in the area. The hot tub was great to relax in at the end of each day.
The host themselves were very kind and very responsive and helpful.
We would love to come back and enjoy this place again. Easily my favorite spot we have stayed out of the ten or so I’ve been to.

What a beautiful home and the location to the beach and views were awesome! This home had everything we needed and the perfect location for our annual girls trip!! The owners were very kind and very responsive to any questions we had. We absolutely loved all the decks with the spectacular views and the sound of the ocean!! This home definitely did NOT disappoint and we would love to rent this place again for our annual trip to the OBX! The house is bright, cheerful, and welcoming. Great for adults, families and kids. The beach is a two minute walk. We saw dolphins and pelicans and wild horses. What a wonderful place!
