Sea Rock Inn - Long Beach

We just needed a place to crash until we could board the Catalina Island boat. It was 15 minutes away from the terminal, and had free parking, too. We walked some of the neighborhoods. Some were okay, some a little sketchy, but no problems. Right non Pacific Coast Highway. Friendly helpful office manager.

Didn't have breakfast, and I don't think there was coffee either, but maybe I just didn't find it.

It was clean. The ac worked well. The shower had great water pressure and temperature.

The bed was very firm and didnt have any give.

Nice pool, area convenient, management was great. Bed was comphy, it was the right size, had tv, micro and fridge!

The cleaning lady was very sweet. Unfortunately her orders were to clean first the rooms that hadchecked out. So when we returned in the afternoon our room had not been touched yet. She was so apologetic and I could see she was doing everything on her own . The staff were very amenable too. But they had no idea there was no hot water in the room ( they fixed that quickly) and that the shower rack had fallout of the wall. They had to wait a day for the guy to come and fix it.the toilet seat was so old and had been painted over a few times. The doom was workable but old and a little dingy. Still…,,it was the cheapest I could find in a fairly decent area
