There’s nothing not to love about this cabin—It is exactly as described in the listing. My partner and I were looking for a quiet place on the water and that’s exactly what we got. The fireplace is fantastic and very easy to operate. The beds are comfortable and the entire place is very clean. I took advantage of the fishing poles available and even caught a bass in the lake! We can’t wait to return to this little gem in the woods. Thank you!

Had a wonderful 3 days at the cabin. Beautiful, clean and comfortable home in a peaceful and serene setting. We spent our mornings visiting nearby towns of Beacon, Kent and Cold Spring and afternoons kayaking and swimming in the lake. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a break from the hustle and bustle and seeking some serenity!

This cabin is amazing! We really enjoyed how quiet it was and how it was just steps from the lake, where we enjoyed fishing (10 bass caught!), swimming, and canoeing. Tons of great local hiking and restaurants and Jason was the perfect host. Highly recommend. We’ll certainly be back!

We absolutely loved our time here. The views are so gorgeous and the lake was incredible for swimming and kayaking.
We will definitely stay here again. Jason was an awesome host also. So easy to deal with and left us lots of helpful tips for our stay.

The house was beautiful, incredible views of the lake from anywhere in the main living area. Bedrooms are small, but truly didn't matter to us. We were unlucky with the weather, but even with the rain I wish we could have stayed another week! Absolutely wonderful - and the hosts were kind and communicative. WILL stay again.

Cabin was great for a quick weekend getaway. Only an hour away but felt like we were more removed from the normal day to day. Despite cold rainy weather we had a great time, playing cards and puzzles by the fire and grilling a fantastic dinner. The canoe was a fun morning ride once the rain stopped. I’d imagine summer time is even nicer with the dock. It was also great to bring our pup!

We loved our stay and would absolutely rent this place again. The cabin was smaller than we expected (specifically the bedrooms), but the living space was cozy, cute and the view out the windows was amazing. We saw a large blue heron every morning near the dock and the husbands caught a couple fish from the canoe. We missed having a real fire, but the Dura log in the fireplace still scratched that itch. Would be nice to have a fire pit outside. Definitely check yourself for ticks if doing a lot of hiking around the area!

My family had an incredible time at this cozy cottage. The setting is unbeatable--in a quiet nook on a lovely lake, close to several great Hudson Valley towns. They provided everything we needed for both the cottage and the lake (canoeing! dog towels!), plus the place is so cute and comfortable. There's great art on the walls and a packed bookshelf full of delights. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This house was very well put together and equipped. We did not have to worry about bringing a thing with us which was very relaxing. Jason was very helpful and able to answer all of my questions while staying. This is the perfect place for a couple to get away for a weekend.

Such a special place
The cabin was wonderful - clean with unexpected amenities (high end toiletries and super comfortable bedding) quiet and in a beautiful location. The lake is visible from almost everywhere in the cabin. We all enjoyed the paddleboard and kayak and our sons used the Empire State Trail for biking and running nearly every day. The host is responsive and so helpful. A truly great vacation!

Charming Lake Getaway
Jason's place is exactly as pictured, but even the great photos can't convey just how nice the cabin is, and how "in the woods" it feels. The huge rocks and canopy of trees really set the stage for serious relaxation. If you can't "get away from it all" here, you probably can't do it anywhere. :)

We fell in love with this little cabin the moment we stepped through the door. The setting is perfect--just the right combo of secluded woods and gorgeous lakefront. The cabin is charming with all the amenities needed. It's rustic, but Very clean and well kept. When in the cabin or on the upper deck, you feel like you are in a treehouse--big windows let the outside in. Just love it!
